He doesn’t know what kind of witch he’s dealing with. Kal had no idea what he was walking into when he met Maddie. She might believe that men aren’t from Mars, but he sure isn’t from Earth. Maddie has enough crazy in her life with one ghost too many haunting her. Too bad fate just threw her a man claiming to be a dragon shifter. If Maddie chooses to accept Kal isn’t crazy, she might be in for the … might be in for the ride of her life. Of course, if she chooses to believe him she’ll have to leave her old life behind.
Kal needs to find his mate before his dragon’s magic consumes him. He might have infinite cosmic powers, but he also has a soul that can’t control the power of the universe. Not without Her. Maddie might be the right witch for him, except the fact she just cursed him to be a chicken. What the hell kind of planet is this anyway?

I love Michelle’s writing and this one is no exception and am looking forward to more books in this series I am not usually a fan of the alien genre but decided to give it a go because of the author and she may have changed my opinion
Kal a alien dragon shifter needs to find his mate and when he walks into a bar in Roswell then he knows he has found her Only problem is that Maddie a witch thinks that he is insane with his talk of space ships and dragons and when he annoys her to much she turns him into a chicken. With this start will these ever end up as mates and when danger closes in on them will Kal be able to keep Maddie safe You will have to read to see. I hope that the next story will be Eadric’s

Maddie, a witch, was chatting with the bartender, Ellen, when she returned to Roswell at her mother’s request. All the magic in Roswell that enhanced her mother’s magic didn’t let her see and prevent her own death. Now she wanted something from Maddie and refused to talk to her until she returned to Roswell.
The bar catered to the paranormal, aliens, and an occasional oddball human. Maddie had a ghost hunter show that got cancelled – why would they cancel a REAL ghost hunter’s show? The network had claimed she wasn’t authentic enough for the audience! So now she sat in a bar in Roswell waiting for her mother to make an appearance. Instead two huge guys walked in – she didn’t even turn to look at them, just saw the shadows. Her magic started going crazy, jumping under her skin. What was in that last shot? A male voice asked if she was okay and she turned on the barstool, expecting to be looking into his eyes – but she looked up and up and up! He invited her to his ship and she snapped back that he had the worst pickup line ever because this was the desert and there were no ships anywhere! All she got back was, “A what line?” Then he said his home is a spaceship for now, and she groaned that he was one of those Area 51 nuts! He told her he was Kal and introduced his brother Eadric. He stepped closer and her magic made her skin itch all over again. She started to get off the stool to leave, but he touched her arm and she felt the pulsing heat! She really wanted this guy! No, no, no! He told her he was a dragon… or was he describing his man-bits? There were no dragons, right?
Kal is an alien dragon shifter who has to find his mate before his dragon’s magic takes over and wreaks destructive havoc. He meets Maddie, a witch, and tells her he is a dragon shifter. She, of course, doesn’t believe him. Their communication is a little haphazard when he doesn’t understand Maddie’s idioms. Can he find a way to convince her that he is telling the truth and she is his destined mate? Maybe not, as she turns him into a chicken!
I absolutely adored this terrific story! The characters were wonderful, Maddie feisty and fun, Kal handsome, sincere, and clueless sometimes. The story line was captivating and moved along at the perfect pace (so the reader can take a breath and not laugh him-or-herself to death). Don’t miss this one – it’s definitely worth the read! So much more awaits you!
Maddie is in the bar when two large strange men enter and she fees a zap of magic.
Witch Maddie was home in Roswell at a bar where her old friend Ellen was behind the bar. As she was talking to Ellen two large strange men walked through the door and walked towards Maddie. One asks if she will come to their ship and what Maddie thinks is a rubbish conversation follows with mention of spaceships and dragons plus the information that their names are Kal and his brother Eadric. Kal is persistent and annoys Maddie so she turns him into a chicken which causes his brother to rush off so Maddie is left with Kal. When he recovers he gets close to Maddie then starts licking her skin but glowing marks appears on her skin and she starts feeling hotter and hotter.

Maddie was a witch her mom told he that she had to go home. Kal was a dragon from another planet, him and his brothers were on earth to find their mates before they lost it to their dragons. They had a few problems with her ex and the people he was working with to capture the aliens to study them. But they ended up ok.
I love shifter stories and I really enjoyed this captivating and interesting story. The story-line and characters are interesting and I like them. I also enjoyed the suspense, intrigue and twists and turns in this story. I look forward to reading more from this writer.
“I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.”
Great book. Exciting, surprising, hot, emotional and much more. They were both in for surprises. Especially her. An alpha space dragon and a feisty female. I recommend it. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
This book is super sweet, I love the characters and the romance!
Look! She glows
This woman has the chip of all chips on her shoulder. Upon first blush, you either want to walk away or throat punch her. But then the real Maddie starts making an appearance and the couple really start to connect. But what is a good story without an evil villain disguised as a friend and a group of baddies who are up to no good? This book will run you through the line of emotions, from laughter to tears, bringing you to a HEA you won’t want to miss. I hope we get to see which dragon finds his mate next soon. I am sure it will be just as fantastic a journey.
This is a fun to read sci-fi romance! I really liked it… The romance is sweet and the adventure is magical and exciting…

Really enjoyed this action packed, fun and emotionally thrilling adventure filled with intriguing charters, exciting twist and crazy magical turns. Highly entertaining read from beginning to end.
Really enjoyed reading Maddie and Kal’s story. I don’t usually read stories with aliens but since it was a dragon shifter, I just had to cuz I love anything dragon. This was a very interesting story pairing a witch and an alien dragon shifter. The misunderstandings because Kal’s not familiar with earth customs and idioms are fun to read.
I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
Kal had no idea what he was walking into when he met Maddie. She might believe that men aren’t from Mars, but he sure isn’t from Earth. This started off pretty good. Lost my interest though.
