It’s a uniquely disturbing murder and Ginger and Basil are eager to puzzle it out together. What do the first class passengers have to do with the dead man? Lee Strauss never fails to give good entertainment with her books.
A fun quick read with a few twists and turns.
I liked it. It reminded me of Murder on the Orient Express. It was easy to visualize the story.
Interesting read and a kind of cozy mystery. I enjoyed going back in time.
Very good story with lots of twist and turns. Logical sequence of events to solving mystery. Enjoyable characters who do reasonable things to solve mysteries but do not do unwise or stupid actions to find the killers. A good look at the time in history and the social systems of the time
I found this a delightful story and did not figure out “who done it” until the author explained it to me at the end. This was an entertaining book and I look forward to reading more of these adventures!
I love a good cozy and this was a good one
A quick read but not very original.
Witty heroine. A good mystery. A classic train. What is there not to like!
I have been enjoying this series since SS Rosa, hard to wait for the next book
Fun mystery period read
First of the derisive read and plan on reading many others!
Good mystery.
Weak. Very weak.
It was a nice read.
I enjoyed this and thought I had it figured out, but wasn’t correct. Some unexpected twists.
I can always count on Lee Strauss and Ginger Gold to provide me with just the right amount of history, mystery, drama, good writing, and fun to enable me to forget even the worst storm, obnoxious client, or what passes for the news these days. Although I enjoy a certain amount of excitement and intrigue like the next person, my life and mind aren’t so dull that I need to have it pounded into me. Strauss’s writing and Ginger Gold remind me of something my grandmother used to say about a successful women: Always a hint, never a show.
Love the characters and the storyline. I’ve read most all of this series and loved them
I love this series! It’s good fun.
I read two of this series and loved them both.
