Yeah, I’m trouble…so what? Women like it. That and my big…bank account. Not to mention my, ah, silver tongue. I’m the prince of my world, right up until the king gets upset. My father says he’s going to cut me off if I don’t stop acting like a spoiled playboy, show some interest in the family business, and settle down with a nice girl. But I learned how to fight dirty from the man himself, so … himself, so I’ve got just the girl to pose as my fake fiance.
His very own executive assistant.
He can’t possibly object. Neither can Kinsley–she’ll lose her flat if she doesn’t accept the payday that comes with my offer.
Falling for her was never part of the plan.
A sexy fake-fiancé standalone in the London Billionaire universe from USA Today Bestselling Author Nana Malone.

A fun fake engagement story. The playboy needs a good girl to change his fortune and Kinsley is just who Jarred needs to turn his life around. These two make a great couple and complete each other.
Terrific
Jared was doing what he had doing since he and his fiancee broke up, drinking and picking up women. Now his father had cut off his trust fund and has given him two things he needs to do get it back. Kinsley has loved her flat but the are being sold and she has a chance to buy it, but it’s out of her budget. He needs a fiancee and she needs money, the only downside, she works for his dad
A fun quick read, I could not put it down. Nana Malone does it again.
Not a long story but entertaining.
I really loved this book I couldn’t put it down:)
Enjoyable fake fiance/billionaire story with unique ending.
It is a good read.
Enjoyed reading!
He’s a wanker and she’s an idea
Not even a complete sketch just an idea of what a female character is supposed to be. The ex is more realized than her. The motivation are sketchy. The emotions are hints. Lots of tell and very little show. The sex is basic. And the dirty talk is boring. There is nothing redeeming about this book. And she needs a copy editor to save her soul–there are so many pronoun disagreements an English teacher would bathe it in a sea of red.
Well, it was a short-ish book, which can be nice. But not a lot of plot and some typical-typecast characters. Some steam, but pretty low key.
Liked the story. It was cute. Didn’t like how his father was to him. Wished the story was fleshed out more. Like the real Susan was exposed and his father knew more about everything that happened. Loved Kinsley. They were hot together.
You know those cartoon scenes where there is a chase going on and the characters slip in and out of doors in completely different places? That’s what this story felt like. I felt like I never got a solid bit of any of it as it went by so quickly. And it needs editing. I’ve learned that I have an editing threshold, and this story passed it. During sexy times, the H was moaning his own name. Now, that’s a serious egotist. I like Nana Malone’s stories. Maybe I’m less impressed because I’ve come to expect more from her and this one just didn’t live up to those expectations. However, this won’t slow me down on picking up her other titles.
Sweet Kingsley was given a raw life after her parents died and she moved in to her aunt and uncle’s house. Her cousin was her best friend for life. She finally moved out and finishing up school when her flat was going to be sold and she can get it first if she wanted but she didn’t have the money with school fees and work and bills. Jarred is a playboy who was engaged but Susan his ex found another man that was more rich. He wanted to play the field and live his life. Until his father cuts him off unless he settles down and becomes a part of his father’s empire. He comes up with a plan that involves Kingsley. They can both get something out of it. Jarred gets his life back and she will get money to buy her flat and have money in bank and take a vacation. But when the heart sees something it becomes more than just a job it becomes love. Great book.
what could go wrong with a fake engagement? Just about everything. This book is a fast read, it’s got everything you need, but I wanted more, I almost felt like I was missing pieces of their story. That said it was still a great book. Jarred is a typical trust fund kid, until his father puts his foot down and decides to cut him off. Kinsley is a hard working girl just trying to get a head up in life, when her apartment is suddenly changing hands and she needs money to buy it. Cue in hair brained fake engagement and a mess of things that go wrong. But will Love win? Read this book and find out for yourself
Mr. Trouble is a fun romance with endearing and enjoyable characters.
Mr. Trouble is a fun contemporary romance by Nana Malone. Ms. Malone has delivered a well-written book. It is written in the first person, alternating point of view format, which I’m not a fan of. The story is so good though I can overlook that. Jarred has had his trust fun cut off by his father. Kinsley has received notice that her apartment is going to be sold plus she has to evacuate for fumigation. Kinsley and Jarred’s story is a fun read and loaded with drama, humor and sizzle. I enjoyed reading Mr. Trouble and look forward to reading more from Nana Malone soon. Mr. Trouble is book 1 of the London Billionaire Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
I found the story to be a rehash of many others that I have read. As a card carrying member of the fade to black generation I found the sexual tension, sexual references and sex scenes to be a bit tiresome. It seems that this generation of writers feel that we have no imagination…so wrong.
Mr. Trouble is an interesting story and there is chemistry between Jarred and Kinsley. The story follows the typical as far as fake fiancee romances go – rich playboy needs a wife to keep his money and down on her luck girl needs money fast. Jarred and Kinsley are good together and I liked that they didn’t immediately jump into bed, but they did seem to fall for each other rather quickly, especially considering the length of the book. Overall, it is an entertaining read with a relatively low angst level.
