All Taylor wants to do is make it home before the record-breaking storm blows through town. But when she sees a truck broken down on the side of the road, she goes against her better judgment and stops. Only after she’s committed to helping does she realize it’s the customer from the grocery store who was rude to her. Though she wants to leave him and his bad attitude to freeze, she’s too … too compassionate and offers him a ride home. Unfortunately for her, the snow is falling quicker and harder than she anticipated, forcing her to be stranded or stay alone with the brooding, short-tempered mountain man in his secluded cabin. Not wanting to freeze to death, she decides to stick it out in the warmth of his home.
It’s not long before the attraction flowing between them is so hot it can keep them warm for weeks. As sparks fly and emotions soar, things grow more serious. Taylor wants Maddox just as much as he wants her, but there’s only one problem—she’s a virgin.

This was a fun and steamy read. Taylor was very likable and although Maddox starts out as a jerk, he grew on me. These two had great chemistry and a nice hint of sweetness to their attraction. A good romance and a welcome addition to this series.
Maddox is so grouchy even though Taylor is nice to him at the grocery store and when she rescues him from a snow storm and gets him to his remote cabin (although he insists on driving her truck).
Taylor is young and has anxiety.
She’s ten years younger than Maddox’s 30.
Maddox continues to be cold to her when she is stranded at his cabin after taking him there in a snow storm.
He has nightmares and had his heart broken.
Once at the cabin it’s a good story.
Taylor is on her way home from work when she spots a broken down truck. The owner turns out to be the rude customer from where she works. She gives him a lift against her better judgement but the weather means that she is stuck at his cabin until the storm passes. This was a great story that will have you rooting for the pair

Great read. Loved the struggle that the hero faced. It was such a great read. I liked that they didn’t just jump into the relationship and that the heroine was not some shirking violet. A definite must read.
