PARKER After losing my wife in a tragic incident, I pack up and move my kids and I to the mountains to protect my family and my heart. Adjusting from the city life was fairly easy, except as time passes I know I can’t give my kids everything they need. But I’m too proud to admit it. Even when a nanny arrives and offers her expertise and time, I push her away, but my sister isn’t having it. Now … having it. Now the nanny with long, slender legs and big, bright eyes is moving in, and I know opening up to her will be my undoing.
KACEE
When I’m forced to find a new job, I never expect my best friend to send me up the mountains to help her brother, who’s too stubborn to realize he needs it. Though he’s sexy as sin and the attraction is instant, his bad attitude practically scares me away. Considering he didn’t want to hire me in the first place, leaving would be best, but as soon as I meet his kids, I know they need me. So I stay.
There’s too much tension, stolen glances, and a novels worth of unspoken words. The temptation unravels and soon we’re both falling into unknown territory.
Winter may be coming, but the fireplace isn’t the only thing heating up in the cabin.
This is a 30,000+ words standalone novella with a guaranteed HEA!

I read an ARC of the Mountain Man’s Nanny for my honest review. My honest review is I would have read this book anyway. I have found a love for Kelsey King’s mountain men. The Mountain Man’s Nanny supplied all the feels one could want. Though the book is short it doesn’t leave you feeling like you missed anything. Once again Kelsey did a wonderful job! Can’t wait for the next Mountain Man to rock my Saturday morning 🙂
“I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book via Booksprout.” Such a well written story that tells an amazing tale of heart break and overcoming the past for a better future.
A sexy sweet well written quick read. Parker moves him and his two kids to the mountains after his wife was murdered. Kacee feeling lost after her job ended was talked into giving the mountains a try in being a livin nanny and homeschool teacher. Parker pressured from his sister unhappily agrees, Kacee once meeting the children realizes how much they need her. I really enjoyed their journey as they develop feeling and the chemistry esculates.
A compelling read of loss, grief, and moving on. The story is well written, emotional, and heart wrenching. The plot is well developed and consistent with amazing character growth and development. The characters Parker and Kacee are strong and really great together, though the Parker is a bit broken from losing his wife. Their chemistry is hot and undeniable. This story will tug your heart strings, will make you smile, and will captivate and hold your interest until the end. It is a story you will enjoy reading. The end is really beautiful. Parker and Kacee are teaching each other lessons in HEA! Kacee loves working with children and families and since her last job finished she has been feeling a little lost. When her best friend Penelope tells her that her brother needs a nanny to help him teach and look after his kids she figures she figures she will at least give living in mountains a trial run. Too bad mountain dad doesn’t appear to want her around. Parker moved his family way from the city after his wife’s tragic murder. Some call it hiding away but he calls it keeping his kids safe. When his sister once again bullies him about his kids and their needs he vehemently states he doesn’t need anyone’s help. Nevertheless his sister brings him help in the form of Kacee. He begrudging will admit she seems to be helping his kids and she infuses new life into the home, but she’s also making he him want things he’s not sure he’s ready for. Will this mountain man be able to give up control when it’s might mean learning some new lessons.

Loved this story! Short read and well written.
Parker is a man who always has the tragedy that changed his life in the back of his mind. Moving his children to the secluded mountains was his way of protection. Kacee is his way of letting go his a bit. She was brought in as the kids live in nanny and homeschool teacher. Parker and Kacee develop a relationship and everything seems to be perfect. Parker is going to have to deal with his memories and ghosts of his past to move on with his future though.
Parker packs up himself and his kids and heads to the mountains after his wife is murdered. His sister who only wants nothing but the best for him and the kids to hire someone to teach the children. Kacee is her best friend and has a child development degree to boot and would be ideal for the position of nanny. After meeting the children Kacee is hooked now all she has to do is get Parker to agree to keep her there with them.
