Really good book, and shows some of the pain and struggles that Bourdain dealt with.
Maybe Anthony Bourdain is an acquired taste . . . this was my first try. It’s a profane rant and full of the author’s ego. Cooking arts fans will want to read it, lest they miss out on the flavor of his indulgent life. Always entertaining
I found this book insightful and in some ways disturbing. It was a window into a soul.
Nobody interprets life and nobody tells the truth like Bourdain! I loved this book — from his exploits on St. Martin with a jet-setting, spoiled “psychopath,” to his formative experience watching “Old Yeller” at the movies with his parents.
