Sappy.
Describes the wonderful affection of families and their dogs.
Actually, I listened to this book in the audio version. Because I lived for a time in the book’s locale (Wyoming mountains), I can tell you that all of the details in the location were “spot on” including the part where Marley chases a moose away from the front door of his home.
I couldn’t put it down even tho it was very difficult to read thru my tears. I’m a HUGE Lab lover so it really touched.
Love dod books.
too sappy; during our book discussion group, several members went to the wine cellar and drank because we didn’t even want to discuss the book
Great book for dog lovers
I read this book years ago when it first came out. The author did a great job memorializing the life of a beloved pet & all the shenanigans that can come along with pet ownership. The love is pure from both sides & the adventures are detailed wonderfully in this story of falling in love with a puppy, dealing with the full life adventures, the …
Great read for those whose best friend happens to be a dog.
I loved it. I really like books featuring a loveable doggy. Although Marley wasn’t always easy to love to his humans, he was loved by them. I laughed and cried reading this one. I wholeheartedly recommend Marley and me.
I loved it.
Loved it.
What a great book. Proves that dogs are everyone’s best friends.
Tear jerker book. Loving story.
Fun and entertaining book.
A must read for dog lovers.
I never fail to cry when I read this book, numerous times, one of the best dog bests ever written
Yellow labs are funny, goofy loyal unpredictable companions. This is one family’s experience with their lab. It hit close to home with my experience with my lab. Like all dog tales it is sad as well. They just don’t live as long as we would wish. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves dogs of any breed.
This is one of the best books I’ve ever read and even the movie did it justice! How rare is that? It’s just a families simple life, but you feel you are with them living it out loud, too. I could see every single thing that was told in this run-a-way hit. Loved it!
An entertaining true account of what a dog can give to our world. You’ll laugh and shed some tears but you’ll appreciate getting to know Marley thru the authors words. Heck, you might get a dog after reading this book.
