Absolutely 5 fantastic star’s
Natalie has taken us back to the Chateau of the Dahlia Saga where Julian and the rest of the disturbed family reside. This family goes beyond the twisted, mentally disturbed, cuckoo that you normally would read about and that fact alone is why I can’t seem to get enough of this family and of course her book’s. If you read the previous book’s in this Saga you won’t want to miss out on this one. When I started reading this i could not put the book down the whole time it was just so good.
OMG! The ending I’ve been waiting for is finally here! I love Julian and Morgana as a couple and I am so glad they both get the ending they deserve. Morgana finally comes to terms with her life and is reunited with her family that she was once trying so desperately to get away from. This is a great ending for a dark and twisted romance and if you like dark and twisted then this is definitely the story for you! But you have to start with the first book Malice as that is the beginning of Julian and Morganas story!
Definite 5 stars and definitely recommend!
I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book
This may be my favorite Dahlia Saga book yet!
I was on the edge of my seat as Morgana and Julian met once again and I waited for all of the truths and consequences to be put out on the table. I just knew things would get dark and crazy.
Watching them together again after all that time was fascinating and I loved this new version of them.
There were a few unexpected turns as the story went along, and yet there was a quiet perfection in this reunion.
Welcome back to Chateau Dahlia. We guarantee you won’t enjoy your stay, unless you are part of the family that owns it.
Ah, it felt so good to come back to Dahlia. This series is the absolute for me. I love every diabolical character and all their devilish deeds. While this was a shorter read, I still loved it. Anytime I am back with the Andreaou’s, it makes me fucking giddy.
Usually, I go in a little detail with my reviews but with this story, I really can’t. I can give a little summary but anything else would be spoilery, especially if you haven’t read the first book.
This book picks up several years after the first book in the series Malice. If you need a little backstory on it, you can check out my review. It wraps up the story that is the romantic tragedy of Julian and Morgana. Sometimes it takes losing everything to make you find your true self and realize what’s really important to you. And that’s the case with the main characters in this book. I am pretty pleased with how this ended. Bittersweet.
Everything that I’ve come to know and fucking love about Natalie’s dark tales is here. Angst. Murder. Torture. Hot AF scenes.
I can always count on her for a thrill ride.
On a side note, I about squealed when I finished the book and saw there was a sneak peak of Iniquity, the next book in the series which is the continuing story of Declan, Ethan, and Helena. It’s no secret that Depravity is my favorite book out of the series. I love this trio and can’t wait to read their continuing story. The devil’s triangle indeed.
A DELICIOUS DEMENTED READ!!!
Am I as depraved as the authors characters when I say that this is one of my all time favorite love stories?!
Time lost and memories forgotten could not hinder this epic romance forged in sadistic Hell, nor have had any bearings on their soul connection.
I am continuously in awhh of the world’s Natalie Bennett conjures up.
“The Dahlia” is the heartbeat of this world and it continues to give birth to the most beautiful broken love stories imaginable.
A chaotic breathtaking experience you won’t soon forget.
Other one I couldn’t and wouldn’t put down. I love the blood and lust in this book. I love her take on the happily ever after.
A second chanc love story with a dark twisted edge, Julian and Morgana what an obsessive love they have.
Natalie is an author who writes the most amazing depraved dark stories that I love. I’m not sure what a psychologist would make of Julian. I’ve read books with scary characters but he takes the crown. For someone whose family business is death and torture he’s just so reasonable and likeable. Devotion comes in many forms obsession is just one. Loved this wickedly dark story.
I love love loved Morganas and Julian’s story…
This Standalone is the fourth book in the Dahlia saga and hell what a book it was..
I recommend reading the first three books so that you get a better understanding of the characters.
This book may contain triggers for some so be warned.
This book and well series is so twisted and messed up that it has my dark little heart pounding with joy..
Years have passed… second chances are given.. secrets, well let’s just say there are heaps of those.. but can two depraved lovers rekindle??
I wont say much else so that I’m not giving anything away. What I will say is if you are a dark lover read this series.
***4 Stars***
After everything that went down in Malice (previously known as Mercy & Macabre for a minute) and finding out that Julian was still alive and kicking, I wondered if there would be more to his story. So when Malevolence was announced I was curious to see how things would end up and I have to say I really liked how it all played out.
This is a novella/short, so things happen relatively quickly, but what I liked was how Julian was who he has always been ~ dark, deviant and comfortable in his own skin, but he has matured and didn’t make the same missteps with Morgana as he did the first time around. And as for Morgana. She’s been through a lot, and though she still has her demons, she also has a clarity of who she is and wants to be that she didn’t when she first met Julian. With both having survived all that they have, I loved how honest they were with each other~ or at least as honest as they could be, sometimes things need to be omitted ~ and have finally gotten their HEA
~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~
I didn’t know when I started this story, it would be about centered around Julian and Morgana. I had to do my own recap from Mercy. I remember these two characters were rather unique. One loved to give pain and the other loved to receive it. One knee who they were inside and out but the other was fighting themselves on who they were meant to be.
I loved seeing the family of Andreou and how they integrated Morgana back into their lives. The blood… The gore… All of it was still there. But it wasn’t the main thing. It was the relationship between two crazy dark souls and the family who knows them best.
The OG Dahlia couple gets their HEA. I was so excited for this book. Julian and Morgana hold a special place in my heart because they started this amazing series. In this book Morgana and Julian have been reunited after over twenty years. Julian takes a different approach to Morgana in this book and it definitely ended up better for them. It seems that Morgana is more open to everything the Dahlia stands for and the depravity of her family members. I read this book with a smile despite the carnage because I know what this couple has been through. Natalie exceeded my expectations and I enjoyed every minute. I really hope that Luca gets a book eventually but I also want to see what happens with Helena’s sister.
Wow what a story this book goes along with book1 even though it’s a standalone you will better understand everything if you read book 1. Julian and Morgana’s story continue in this book. definitely proceed with caution due to the dark nature of this book and it’s triggers but if you loved dark then you will absolutely love this book along with this whole series. This brings us years into the future of their relationship where the child is grown. Due to some things that happened in the first book you think things ended up differently than they did but we learn once again things are never as they seem. With Julian getting a second chance in the story he plans to do everything differently and will not make the same mistakes he once did. Morgana is also a changed person and admits finally that she does like the dark things more than she would have in the past I don’t want to get into too much of the story because you really need to read the whole thing for yourself but I will tell you it’s definitely worth it. Natalie is a fabulous author and I can’t wait to see what’s next for her this is was truly an amazing read for me even with the triggers I was not disappointed at all. I received this book for free as a arc in return for an honest review.
I seriously become apprehensive when I get my hands on a Natalie Bennett book because I don’t know what I’ll be getting. I know where’s going to be angst, darkness, gore, torture, and hot AF scenes, but besides that, there’s going to be twists completely off the left field.
This book takes us back to the dark world of Chateau Dahlia. Although it can be read as a standalone, it’s best enjoyed after book 1 Malice. The darkness is there, the gore is there, and scorching hot scenes are there and also the same question I keep asking myself, why do I like it so much!
Seriously, fans of Natalie’s writing style, pick this one up and you won’t be disappointed.
3.5 Stars
So this was the sequel to malice set many years later.
I enjoyed this but it didn’t quite pack the punch of its predecessor.
I was just so glad to be finally getting some answers though I do wish that not so much time had passed in terms of years.
This was also much shorter than I would have liked and I do think a longer story would have done this story more justice overall.
No matter this was still a read that I was very much looking forward to just for the closure aspect of it all.
So yep blood and gore still abound at the Dahlia nothings changed there but what we do get here is a more stripped-down version of Julian that I wholly appreciated and Morgana herself also seems must more willing to accept and embrace her inner monster.
Maybe because of her previous head injury and the holes in her memory who knows?
I also enjoyed catching up with the rest of this oddball family.
So yep thankfully this provided the closure and HEA we didn’t get in Malice finally concluding Julian and Morgana’s chapter to my satisfaction as their unfinished saga was just killing me.
So happy to see them both achieve there own twisted version of the whole fairytale.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Malevolence (Dahlia Saga #4).

I Give this book a 4.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as 4.
No Spoilers, this is one of those books you Have to start from the beginning.
I love this series, and I really enjoyed this Book but it did feel a bit hurried and I Loved how dark it was, I just wish I was darker lol
But that’s just me XD
Dark: 4.5/5
Romance: 3.5ish-4/5
Heat: 4/5
Drama: 4.5/5
Suspense: 4/5
Will I recommend this? Absolutely, but I suggest reading the First Book Malice, but also the previous 2 also 😀
Will I Read more from this Author? Are you kidding?! Of Course I Will! It’s Natalie Bennett!
“He was the umbrella and the torrential downpour. What we had was never conventional or ordinary. It was vile and twisted, but beautiful too.”
Julian and Morgana finally get the ending that they deserve! After the bittersweet end of Malice; I was thrilled to find out that J & M were getting their part two. Secrets are revealed (kind of) as their story unfolds in such a darkly unique way This is their second chance && neither J or M is taking this chance for granted. I LOVED Malevolence.
I do have to mention… I feel like interwoven throughout this entire read Natalie Bennett placed some sneaky, dark breadcrumbs for us; hints at what’s to come. Honestly, I am so hooked on this series and I’m so excited to see what happens next
Dark and Twisted Conclusion!
Malevolence is a very dark and twisted conclusion to Julian and Morgana’s epic love story. Their story is definitely not your typical gushy love story – it’s very dark, depraved and twisted. Even though this book takes place quite a few years in the future, the strange way that Julian and Morgana continue to interact and love each other is powerful and very intense. Like calls to like and these two characters crave to be together. Their souls are bound forever as one.
This amazing author knows just how to write stories that titillate us and call to our darker sides. I absolutely loved it and can’t wait for her next amazing read.
Finally Morgana and Julian get their fecked up ever after! Both being completely in the dark for years and years, they finally reunite. Both have aged. Julian knows what his Morgana needs. Morgana is more free from her inner demons this time around. Both are completely twisted, and both deserve this book. So many secrets and lies. All has been revealed.
Natalie Bennett knocked this one out of the park. She gave me someone I wasn’t a fan of, Morgana, and turned her into the best fecked up woman I ever wanted. I’m so excited for more of this series!
This is a story I never knew I needed! The words Perfect and any book by Natalie never go in the same sentence, but WOW, it fits here. Don’t confuse that with thinking this is a sweet mushy romance because it definitly not. Julian and Morgana’s saga continue and things are really put in place and order.
Julian has suffered great loss, I kinda felt that was karma he was due. But, his character is darker and more brutal then before. Morgana is back! She’s riddled with scars and blank spots of her past. Things start to fill in the blanks when shes back face to face with the monster, his scent has always done something to her.
Although I wished this book would have been longer, I am happy with more from Julian and Morgana. This book gives you some closure on those two monsters, while giving you all the dark, twisted gore as well.
Book 4 in the Dahlia saga and we sort of go back to where the story began.
It is not so dark as the previous books, but it is more of a soul search. Finding our feelings, learning and accepting.
It was wonderful to see how much but also how little had changed and how strong the connection was.
