Join USA Today Bestselling author Melissa Schroeder for a frenemies to lovers romantic comedy with a sexy, tool belt wearing hero who is on a mission to get his woman. I’m taking a stand. I’m done with him, our show, and my stupid heart. I want nothing else to do with Travis Fillmore. Or maybe I’m lying. No, really. Ugh, I need help when even I don’t believe me.Travis is my best friend’s brother … me.
Travis is my best friend’s brother and the object of my infatuation. He’s also my co-host for our home improvement show, and we are zooming to the top right now. Unfortunately, I can’t work with him anymore. He’s pushed me too far with his antics, and I’m walking away. Only, he just realized how much he needs me on the show, and he wants me back. He just pops into town and thinks I’ll forgive and forget.
At first, I refuse to even consider returning, but he won’t go away. He tells me that he’s changed, that he can be professional. And I believe him. Until he kisses me…and then does a whole lot more. Soon, we can’t keep our hands off each other. But even as I think we might be building something beautiful, someone threatens our happiness. An overzealous stalker…I can deal with that. What scares me is the man who could shatter my heart and leave me broken.
Warning: This book includes breaking and entering, donuts, sarcastic friends, a woman with many trust issues, a man who doesn’t realize what he wants until he almost loses it, a weirdo who doesn’t understand boundaries, nosey neighbors, a trip to the Juniper Jail again, and a happily ever after for two people who finally admit they are in love.

3.5**** stars. Travis and Nancy have been friends since early childhood. They are grown up now and cohost a reality tv home improvement show. But they haven’t been getting along very well during this season. We are back to the age old problem, lack of communication. Travis has been mean to her as a defense mechanism to hide his feelings. She is hurt and wants to quit the show. Gee, what would happen if they talked to each other and got out from underneath the fear of rejection. I felt the book got off to a sluggish start but picks up significantly halfway through becoming very interesting and suspenseful. This is another well written book.

This is the story of Nancy and Travis. These two have known each other for years as Travis is her best friend’s brother. Now they’re working together on a home improvement show that is taking off with the public. The fame goes to Travis’ head and his antics are just too much for Nancy to take so she quits the show and goes back home. Now Travis realizes what Nancy means to him but is it too late? I enjoyed this fun, entertaining romance. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Travis and Nancy have known each other for years and working on a show together does nothing to help their friendship. Buttons are pushed and soon Nancy has had enough and decides to leave the show. When Travis shows up trying to make amends the chaos begins.
This story has a solid plot and strong characters. Nancy is not a woman to be messed with and Travis is really a good man just one that is fighting his feelings. It was nice to see the change in their relationship once the two realize what they could have if they tried. Not only do these two have to deal with their own emotions but they must also deal with a stalker and a family intent on sticking their noses where they do not belong. The two are good together and I liked the banter throughout their story. I enjoyed seeing Nancy and Travis get their story told. The author does a good job of bringing these characters and their world to life. I was quickly pulled into their story and enjoyed every minute of it.

This is an entertaining story with strong characters in Nancy and Travis who have known each other for years. They have had the hots for each other for years but have never moved on it. Now working together they have a slow burning love/hate romance. The author does a great job developing their story and had me hooked from start to finish reading.
I loved and would highly recommend this book.

I really liked this book. It had just the right amount of drama and chemistry to make it flow. Melissa wrote the characters perfectly and I was happy that each character had their own time within the book. You get to know both Nancy and Travis. It made for an enjoyable read. I found myself frustrated and cynically happy all within the confines of the pages. This story flows from one chapter to the next. Yes it has a HEA and you will find that it is well worth the time to read!

I fell in love with Travis and Nancy when they appeared in Hate to Love You (Sydney and Grady’s book). Love to Hate You is a great love story that has excitement, a little who done it and more importantly a Happy Ending. When reading this book, both characters had me wanting to book slap each one, but is how talented Melissa Schroeder is, she makes the characters in her books come to life we readers forget they are not real. The tension throughout the book was well worth the trouble to get the HEA these characters get.
If you are looking for a easy read, with a HEA with a little love, excitement, suspense this is a must read. As always Melissa Schroeder doe snot disappoint, providing the reader a story to fall into and not want to come out.
Denied feelings causes a rift in Travis and Nancy and until he loses it, does he come groveling back. It’s an intense relationship with trust issues and a little danger. But it was fun reading the banter and the side characters as well. There’s tension and undeniable chemistry.
I did enjoy this book. Travis and Nancy made a great couple. Everyone could see they were into each other but themselves. I knew their chemistry would be off the charts with they way they acted a towards other. The books starts out a little slow but it does pick up. That is why the 4 star review instead of 5. I loved the suspense, the friendship and the love! I look forward to reading more from Melissa Schroeder!

*Spoiler Alert*
Its been a while since i read a romantic comedy especially one where i liked the characters straight away and i genuinely laughed most of the way through it. Nancy (FMC) and her best friend Syd’s younger brother Travis have an unrequited love affair where both sides are oblivious to how the each other feel. Making things difficult when the work together all the time. That is until Nancy decides to go home to Juniper Springs Texas (her hometown) to think about her future except Travis follows her there. A town where everyone knows everyone else’s business. Some situations cracked me up with LOLs. I so wanted Nancy & Travis to get their acts together and wise up that they both liked each other from the very beginning of this book. You couldnt not like both of them. Just loved reading this book and now i think Ill go look for Syd’s book too
I absolutely adore Melissa’s beautifully crafted stories, her characters are so likeable. I never feel disappointed with these books by this fabulous author, they always catch my attention 100 % and I find her wonderful descriptive writing so enjoyable to read! This book is one of the best books I’ve read by this author. Just perfection! Off the charts chemistry. The attraction and all the feels pour off the pages! It just had everything you love in your romance….great characters development and just some of sweet moments too. A great drama filled sexy read. Bring on the next book please, can’t wait to get my hands on it. Put this one at the top of your TBR list. Happy reading everyone!!
Nancy and travis have an home improvement show together and have feelings for each other but don’t want to mess things up and the fact Nancy is Travis sister best friend, They go through trails and tribulations , ups and downs, twist and turns but the ride was great and i really liked . i highly reccommend this read.

The story line and character work were great. The book had a fairly smooth flow to it. This was a quick, fun read and while I enjoyed the book on the whole, I never did come to like the male lead character; he’s just not hero material in my mind.

This book started out much slower than expected. I had to pick it and put it down a few times. Also, I am not a huge fan of the enemies to lovers trope.
All that being said, I did like the way Nancy didn’t cave to her family’s pressure. I liked that she acknowledged the fact that Travis treated her like crap and didn’t try to make excuses for him. I also liked that although Travis did treat Nancy badly, he made the effort to figure out why, acknowledge, and apologize for his behavior.
The last third of the book picked up for me. I think if they hadn’t spent so much time being in their own heads, and not communicating, I would have liked it better. Then again, it may just be me. Any book with prolonged confusion and lack of communication irritates me.
There were some funny moments, most having to do with Grady, Syd, and/or Carter. Eventually, Travis and Nancy reach their HEA.

Gah! I love Melissa Schroeder’s writing! Once again, she’s created excellently written, flawed main characters in the second book of this spinoff of the Cupcakes and Camos world. Like all her books, the surrounding cast of characters we meet, re-meet and get to know better are all well written and give readers something to look forward to when they will undoubtedly get their own stories in their own books. The witty banter, humor, angst, sexy times and all the best feels are what I can count on when I read one of Melissa Schroeder’s books and in this one, she definitely delivers. In addition, Travis and Nancy’s story has an element of deep heartbreak, danger and mystery leading to the all important HEA. I LOVED IT! Highly recommend.

I read the first book in this series and I would call these two books a duet. The first was Hate to Love You which stars Syd and Grady, he runs a tv station and she works for him, this is Love to Hate You, and it stars Travis, Syd’s brother and Nancy, her bestfriend. Both Nancy and Travis have a reality home designing reality tv show on Grady’s network so he is their bosses. This story really starts in their book and continues here with their side of things.
There are more stories in this series and its connected to the authors other series, but these two books together stand alone. I would say read the 1st one then read this book. Can it stand alone, maybe, but you will have missed a lot if you don’t read the first story. In this story Nancy is DONE with Travis and she quits the show. He comes running and wants her back, as his friend and partner.
This story is very much a friends to lovers, 2nd chance at love storyline and even unrequited love storyline. I adored this story, every moment was fun and pretty wonderful and while I wanted to throw things at Nancy and Travis I fell in love with their characters.
There is a bit of a stalker storyline in this story and well it was not a huge mystery IMHO, but none of the characters had a clue and that made it kinda fun too.

Has Travis irrevocably damaged a relationship, steeped in years of camaraderie, snark, and support? Nancy has hit her limit with Travis’ callous, trifling behaviour. Willing to walk away from a friendship that encompasses both the professional and personal, despite what her heart feels. Travis is going to have to pull out all the stops to get the woman he has loved for years, to see him as the one for her.
Between Syd, the Little Old Ladies of Juniper Falls, a cast of other characters, and some intrigue the author provides a great backdrop to the coming together of Nancy and Travis. I enjoyed every moment of this story.
Travis and Nancy hurt my head! It was all right there, obvious to everyone, but because they couldn’t even admit it to themselves, they didn’t see it. More than enemies to lovers, these two were really friends to love, and then that simmered for so long, it festered. But that was then, and now they have to figure out if they can be apart *hint, they don’t do that well apart. It takes some time, it takes some interference, it takes some prodding, but the perfection once it happens made it all worthwhile. Sexy and sweet, these two were always destined to be there for the other and together
What a great read. A fun, well written story is paired with likable characters with amazing chemistry. Plenty of sparks fly between Nancy and Travis, whether they are exchanging clever banter or battling their attraction. Lots of emotions, drama, humor, a bit of suspense and some heat are all blended to make one thoroughly enjoyable romance. I am posting a candid, volitional review.
I LOVE THIS BOOK from the gorgeous cover to the very last page. Everybody knows that Travis and Nancy are hot for each other but Travis and Nancy. This frenemies to lovers tale will have you pulling hair, cussing and fussing until they finally figure it out then you’ll be wreathed in smiles and fanning yourself.
