“Every word taken back loses its strength.”
As an ordained minister and a history major, of course this story hooked me almost before I opened it. Talk about knock your socks off potential! Completely original and completely different, it touches on a lot of Biblical mythology in a very intelligent rendition of angelic beings, both good and evil, the possiblity of theotokas and Lucifer, the Light Bearer.
And THIS is the prequel? Can hardly wait for the actual stories! Highly recommended 5/5
[disclaimer: I received this book from the author and voluntarily reviewed it]
This was a great start to a promising series. I think this is going to be a great series to read. I can’t wait to find out what’s going to happen.
Interesting Take on Angels
Lost Angels is the prequel to the Lost Archangels series by Tatenda Creed. This story presents many common ideas of angels, but also new ones, to me at any rate – angels can talk to you more easily near water, they are weighed down by our prayers and despair, their actions are dictated by their purpose provided by God, and they can be childish and arrogant.
This book sets up why the Archangels are missing through a plot by Lucifer and his son Matthias, as well as the Archangels’ mother’s plan to get them back. The main character, the watcher Jude Thaddeus has a plan for his own future, and Matthias has a plan separate from his father. Everyone seems to have a plan, without regard for God the Father’s plan. It was full of watchers, angels, and demons and touches upon vampires and reincarnation. The rest of the series will be about the finding of the archangels, and I’m assuming their love interests.
Though this book started out a little slow, it did get interesting and I look forward to seeing how the full books in the series turn out. The narrator, Gary Bennett, was a great narrator for this book. He had a range of styles for the different characters, and his voice just sounded as I would expect from an angel.
This was a very interesting story. I don’t usually care for Angel paranormal stories but this one was very well done. The narration was excellent and the way the Angels were very human and relatable. I enjoyed it and will probably listen or read the rest of the series by this author.
Awesome Story! I really enjoyed listening to this great story and look forward to listening to the next book in the series. The narrator does an amazing job in bringing this story to life. As I got into the story, it was really hard for me to stop listening to take a break as I was compelled to keep listening to find out what happens next. I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
It has been quite some time that I’ve read or listened to a book where the main characters are all angels. I wouldn’t usually pick up this genre of book and I must say that I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this prequel. So much so, that I plan to continue with the series. I was concerned at the beginning of the story as I found the angels’ bickering rather childish and felt that the story could have moved a bit faster. However, Lucifer entered the picture with his unholy scheme, and the pace with the action increased enough to capture my attention. The Archangel ‘s watcher, Jude Thadeus, has had his hands full trying to keep the Archangels out of trouble but they’ve often ignored his warnings with dire consequences that have affected the current love of their lives. Lucifer, who has been thrown out of heaven by his Father, plots the ultimate revenge, despite the fact that his Mother has cared well for him and provided him with a beautiful piece of countryside. Everyone seems to have a plan, but they have all forgotten one key component. How will their Father react to all this chicanery, when he has been warning them about their behavior. The storyline in this prequel provides the reader/listener with clues to what lies ahead in the series. Paranormals, vampires, and of course Lucifer will continue to interfere with Jude Thadeus’ progress in reuniting the Archangels. This is sure to be a very interesting series. My only negative comment is the prequel ends with a ‘cliffhanger’ which is one of my pet peeves since too many authors use this technique to force readers into buying sequels to obtain the end of a story. Since this novel is a prequel, I’m hoping that this will be the only cliffhanger utilized. For those who enjoy audiobooks, Gary Bennet, the narrator, provides a very good performance throughout this novel. He has a range of vocal characterizations that help the listener differentiate between the Angels which helps to visualize the novel as you listen. I’m looking forward to hearing more of his storytelling as the series continues.

A STORY TO MAKE YOU THINK ABOUT TODAY’S PROBLEMS
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review
A captivating story of how the Archangels are murdered and a Watcher angel and reincarnated people are to go on a journey to bring them back. There are some confusing parts, but the story is one worth reading and enjoying.
I love all things that deal with the devil Although this one was a bit slow in some spots. I like Jude, it seems as the second book will deal more with Jude and his charge, which could be exciting. It could have more depth to it, but overall not a bad story. Loved the narration!
Romance, adventure and betrayal, a great storyline and wonderful characters had me reading and listening at the same time this book without a breath. An excellent introduction to a new series, that I’ll definitely read more books of.

ONE INCREDIBLE FIND!!!
Hot-cha-mama! This is one, heart pounding, pulse racing, page turning bombshell that’s as riveting as it is captivating. All the twists and turns, ups and downs along with a few glitches and bruises catapulted this baby forward bursting to life beautifully. Tatenta brought out the magic with all the drama, intrigue and suspense while the tension spirals as this stunning storyline and gripping plot brings this little gem together skillfully. Man, this little jewel totally blew me away. Fantastic job Tatenda, thanks for sharing.
First, let’s take a moment to recognize how beautiful the cover is. It’s so lovely! ^o^
*ahem* *clears throat* This is a prequel to a seven book series so you’re in for a long ride. I’m not particularly religious, but I can still enjoy reading about Archangels. After all, my favourite genre to read is Paranormal Romance. So if you’re looking for a new series to start, pick this one up and relax into the world of Tatenda Creed’s genius.
