This has a graphic not very nice new world where some abuse their power and others fight for freedom. The characters, dialogue and scenarios are unnervingly very realistic and believable. The author has produced another wonderfully written, thought provoking novel. If you haven’t read this author yet, then don’t waste anymore time, you need this author and her books in your life!

Liberation (Tribari Freedom Chronicles #3), my twenty-sixth (208 pages/5-hour 15-minute) read from author Rachel Ford. No matter the genre a Rachel Ford book can be counted on to be entertaining & enjoyable. The book takes off seamlessly from book 2, continuing to build speed and an ending that leaves you panting for the next book. “I received a free review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.” I look forward to Absolution (Tribari Freedom Chronicles #4), the next book in the series. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
Great book with lots of action! See how the Tribari empire tries to take back its freedom from a wealthy ruling class.
The Tribari Empire is in chaos.. a coup has begun. Four people are featured in their fight to stop the corruption going on and build a better system. A pregnant widow of a reformer, Nikia Iran who quickly takes on a leadership role. Brek Trigan an abandoned minor who is just trying to service on an icy planet. A mutinous fleet Captain of the Supernova, Elgin who is fighting a space battle even though they are outnumbered. And finally a wrongfully convicted Protector trying to escape from an ice cold prison planet. To know they all cotether you need to read the book.
This the third book in the Tribari Freedom Chronicles.this is an interesting read as it follows the storyline of four very different people, each of which has their own physical and emotional barriers to overcome. The characters are amazing and the descriptions of the different situations allows you to empathize with them. This is a good science fiction book and it is probably best to read the four books in the series in proper order, as not a lot of time is spent on background information.

Now this is great sci fi! I did not get to read book one or two and now I’ll have to go back and read them. I must have all the action and planning that went into this novel, it is that good. Thank you Rachel for the escape into your world!
Review of Liberation -Book 3 of Tribari Freedom Chronicles- by Rachel Ford
A space empire falls after corrupt leader takes little people for granted -4 stars-
Mismanagement, greed and running the empire for his own profit, Supreme Leader Velk loses the support of his military when he orders them to fire on unarmed civilians.
It is story of a empire that falls apart and the people who rise up against it.
Live telecast of assassinations (murders) of a man and woman to “get” to their daughter who is committed to overthrowing the empire, broadcast to all citizens shows not only the lack of compassion, but the unwillingness to listed when people have grievances.
Three simultaneous stories of (1) the military when the officers refuse to follow orders on principle, (2) minors who are literally left out in the cold when the overseers depart the planet and a (3) prison break.
Rachel Ford’s novel considers the options for re-starting a more equal government that assures each worker a fair wage, paid time off to vote and adequate resources (food, water, energy) to survive.
A fast read.
Corruption is corruption, even in a stellar empire where blood is blue (I trust that does not count as a spoiler). Family-friendly except for the littlest ones, it can be read in less than a day or stretched out over a month.

This is a good read.
This is a good start to some fascinating possibilities for future developments.
It will be interesting to see how things happen in future volumes.
I can hardly wait to see what happens next.

A corrupt government, a revolution led by a strong woman, galactic warfare, survival on inhospitable planets, normal people vanquishing inequality – this book is full of that and more. Liberation is the third book in the Tribari Freedom Chronicles, and for me, it is the best so far. I look forward to the release of Absolution. This book has strong characters that you can relate to, great world building and believable scenarios. I enjoyed reading Liberation, it pulled me into the world of fighting for my freedom, liberty and justice.
