During a time in his life when he’d lost everything, the only peace able to save Jeremy’s sanity was his daughter. Raising her from an infant, he experienced the strong protective nature and love that a father has for his child, even though she isn’t really his. With all focus on her wellbeing, he brushes away any probability of finding a mate, all possibility of feeling love again having died … with the mother of his child.
And then Tawna Morgan comes into his life. She stirs feelings in Jeremy that he hasn’t felt for years. He dismisses them, determined to remain loyal to a memory. He pushes Tawna away, refusing to deal with the distraction while guilt eats away at his insides over the betrayal of his heart. With his life in chaos, he must confront his feelings for Tawna while facing the bitter deception of a man he once called brother.

My god Ms. Woods…. First off, I have read every single book this lady has written. I’ve wanted to pull my hair out in the first one knowing Shane messed up, being pissed in the second one when everything when to hell in a hand basket, and crying in the third one when all was lost and found. I’ve read Initium understanding Jeremy’s life and why he is the way he is, how he thinks and feels. It ripped my guts and heart to pieces. Now you have a daughters story from her perspective, how she sees life through her eyes. But not only that you will read how Jeremy comes to life, what lies beneath, the road one takes and on the other side all come together in I Had Him. I loved this story, her story, how she becomes who she is through the unconditional love of her dad Jeremy.
Yeah a lot of emotions running through me right now. What I can say is I love it, will recommend it to family and friends.
Thank you for such a great story.
Now RC it appears you have another in the works. I hope it’s coming along well for you and your mojo is running rapidly.
I was totally engaged throughout the entire book with great character and plot development that kept me turning the pages until the very end!

I Had Him: A Daughter’s story by R.C. Woods is a paranormal novel.
In this book, we meet Alana Mathews and her father Jeremy Carrington. She narrates important parts of her life story that shows how deep
and strong is the love between her and the man who raised her even though there is no blood connection between them. The plot is gripping
from the beginning till the end. It’s a long book with a steady pace on the development of the story. It brings out a lot of emotions
and shows all kinds of love. The characters were incredible. Alana and Jeremy were my favorites, I haven’t seen a stronger bond than the one those two had. This book can teach you a lot of life lessons, especially about family and friendship. My favorite part was how
this troubled father raised a kind, respectful and loving girl.
This is an incredible book that could be perfect as a father’s day gift. I liked it a lot and I will rate it with 4 stars.
Wow, the storyline truly holds a punch from beginning to the end. The characters are engaging and well developed with a connection so strong you feel it through the pages.
