When you’re faking a relationship, the last thing you should do is fall in love…especially with a prince. Charlie is back in his hometown of Chester Falls for his sister’s wedding. What he needs is a date to keep him away from the wandering hands of his ex. Prince Kristof of Lydovia, or simply Kris, needs an escape from the latest press scandal. Hiding away in an American small town doesn’t … an American small town doesn’t mean he can’t pretend to not be royal, or be someone’s boyfriend. Especially when that someone keeps falling all over him, literally.
Intense chemistry
A family wedding
Too many secrets
When their fake relationship starts to feel very real, and the press closes in, how will Kris and Charlie handle the fallout? And when the truth comes out will Charlie catch his prince, or will he let him go?

Kris and Charlie are absolutely wonderful together. Kris is a foreign prince, Prince Kristoff, and is sent to America because of a personal situation and meets Charlie and helps him out and becomes the fake boyfriend to Charles sister’s wedding because his ex-boyfriend will be there and Kris wants to help. Soon the lines are blurred and suddenly it’s not fake for either one of them and then the secrets come out. This was a sweet fast read. A definite recommend!!!
Loved the sweet, funny, crazy story of the exes, the past hurts of the characters and the HEA!!
I absolutely LOVED IT!!!! It was so sweet and adorable. I loved the characters, the story line and how their romance blossomed. I love the witty banter and the humour. And lets not forget the lovely STAMY scenes. I can’t wait to see what happens next, so exciting. Ana ashley well done on an amazing book.
I am so in love with Chester Falls. I have read all of these books completely out of order but I seriously don’t care! They are just that good. I love a good no or low angst story with instant love and chemistry and the obligatory HEA. How to Catch a Prince definitely fits in that category. Bring on the swooning! I adored Kris and Charlie!! I also love Hannah and Ellie. I was first introduced to them in How to Catch a Bookworm and they are such a fun couple. Highly recommend this one if you want a sweet and sexy HEA!
Seriously love Charlie and Kris!! Kris is the prince of Lydovia and has come to America to get away allow from an indiscretion for which he had no part of. Charlie is going back home to Chester Falls because his sister is getting married. When he arrives, he finds out that his ex is staying in his room, so he gets a room (thru a friend) at the Old Mill, the same place Kris is staying. They become friends and eventually more. This was sooo freakin good, connection and serious chemistry. Lots of fun and steamy times. Highly recommend. I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received.
I really loved this book. Sweet read about a prince who comes to America to escape the press and falls in love with Charlie. Sweet read with lots of heat.
Love at first sight
A sweet love story from being in the right place at the right time. The fictional country and royal family spoiled it for me, he could have been from a mega rich super secretive family from a real place, that would make the story more ‘real’, but the romance was perfect. There has to be a bit of rocky start, with problems to overcome, to make the HEA that much better.
This is a great start to a new series, with great main characters, and also strong secondary characters who I hope will get there own stories told in future books. This is a fun, romantic story of a foreign prince who becomes the fake boyfriend of an average American who is just trying to avoid his ex. It’s just a little fun diversion…what could go wrong? The problem with secrets is how the parties will react when the truth comes to light. Is there a chance for real love between a foreign prince and a commoner? It seems an unlikely fantasy, but the author makes this sweet story believable.
I received a free copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.
How to Catch a Prince (Chester Falls #1) was a good read by Ana Ashley. Charlie went back home for his sister’s wedding. He wishes he had a date to keep him away from his ex. Kris is the Prince of Lydia and is looking for an escape from the latest press scandal. He meets Charlie and they pretend to be in a relationship. I enjoyed reading Carlie and Kris’ story and can’t wait to read more by the author.
I’ve read this author before. This is a mm contemporary story set in the USA. Kris is a Lydovian prince in hiding and Charlie is a regular joe who works at a men’s clothing store. They start out with a fake relationship but it very quickly becomes real. A great happy read.
Fabulous Story & Narration Sweet & Entertaining!
How to Catch a Prince
Chester Falls, Book 1
By: Ana Ashley
Narrated by: Nick Hudson
I enjoyed this sweet romance, it is an original story that is well written and well told. It grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. The characters are well developed and easy to like and relate to. After the press releases some scandalous photos and news articial Prince Kristof “Kris” of Lydovia finds himself in hot water with his family. He is told to stay out of the limelight and goes to a small town in America to place where he can hide in plain site. When the 1st plan fails he is taken to Chester Falls and instead of a hotel with loads of amenities he is staying in an apartment in a building that is in the process of being renovated. When he was younger he always wished he could be an ordinary person, no media, no fan faring and special treatment, so he is happy for the opportunity now. Charlie is back in his home town, Chester Falls, for his sister’s wedding. He planned on staying in his childhood home but those plans changed when he found out his ex weaseled his way in, unbeknownst to his parents that they had split up. With not hotel’s available his friend hooked him up with an apartment, he same building where Kris is staying. And Kris fell for him right away, ok what really happened was that he fell on him. The two bonded instantly and liked spending time together. Charlie tells him about his ex and Kris will be his pretend boyfriend and date to his sister’s wedding. Kris does not want to ruin what is building between the two so he does not reveal who he truly is. Things are going great until someone calls him out. I loved how everything plays out in this book, it is greatly plotted and there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, sweet moments, heartfelt moments, some humor and fun times and some steamy romance. Ana Ashley, thank you for this fabulous story.
I listened to the Audible edition, Nick Hudson is a fabulous narrator and voice artist. He does an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life giving each their own voice and personality. He sets the perfect tone for the story and captures the characters emotions, their passion, humor and drama which can be heard in his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this fabulous listen
I was unable to put it down. Kris is a Prince in hiding thanks to his ex. Charlie is an every day fellow attending his sister’s wedding trying to avoid his ex. So, Kris is going to be Charlie’s fake boyfriend only he doesn’t know Kris is royalty. The characters are well defined, funny, kind and strongly attracted to each other. Charlie’s family is warm, helpful, accepting and very close. When they are outed by the press, they both have to do some fancy footwork. I am looking forward to the next book.
Needed some light hearted romance today and Kris and Charlie did not disappoint. Laughter and light hearted drama made this a great read.
* AUDIOBOOK REVIEW *
This was sweet and a little witty and a whole lot of hot.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Good dialogues
The characters is well written and turned in to different personalities
Good storyline that progresses nicely to a happy ending
There’s some secondary characters I would love to hear more about.
Narrator:
Clear pronunciation and read with feelings

Audible. Also on KU.
This is perfect for folks who like insta-love, low angst, and mostly sweet romance. The sex scenes felt a little incongruous in that all of sudden the characters went from adorkable sweet to swearing and demanding. (I know that can be life, it just felt jarring.). I am looking forward to all the secondary characters in the book getting their own HEAs as the series continues.
This was my first time listening to Nick Hudson. I appreciated his ability to keep Kris’s accent consistent throughout the book so you always knew whether it was Kris’s or Charlie’s POV. At the same time, there was something a little “caricature” about it that would sometimes bring me out of the story. I’d definitely listen to him again though.
I received a free copy of this audiobook from Gay Romance Reviews and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Sweet & sexy story. Great performance!
Aw, a modern-day Prince charming tale with heat, chemistry and great characters! I loved Charlie and Kris and wanted more! Their chemistry was magnetic and organic and I loved Ana’s approach to the “fake-boyfriend” trope.
So much was teased in this one and while I’m excited about Tom’s story I’m so interested in learning more about Sergei, Rory, Connor, and James! So much intrigue.
Lastly, Nick did an amazing job! I haven’t heard Nick before and I loved his characterizations, inflections and mild accents. A great listen! Can’t wait for more from this new team

I thought this was a brilliant book and I enjoyed how Charlie and Kris met along with their chemistry and then fake dating. They have to deal with some problems along with Kris’s identity being found out. I can’t wait to read the next in the series.
You never know where and when you’ll find LOVE!
A sweet love story between a Prince and a Men’s Department Manager who met and decided to be in a fake relationship for a sister’s wedding. You will fall in love with both Kris and Charlie, they are both open and as honest as they can be in such a short time and navigating a fake-boyfriend relationship.
I love stories like this, they are low-angst and full of so much sweetness. I know we have read a lot of stories about fake boyfriends, Prince- Commoner tropes, but this is a refreshing twist to that. I love it!
One of my favorite topics in a book is about hidden royals, specially like “cinderfella type”, so this story about Kris, a prince and Charlie, a sales supervisor touched a lot of my buttons. Adding to the mix wonderfully written characters, romance, hot scenes and a little bit of intrigue, evil (and not so evil) exes, miscommunication and low angst situations helped to keep you at the edge of your seat until the very end of the book wanting more and more for book 2. A charming fairytale!!
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
