With a name like Vegas Manilow, it was inevitable I would find my way back to the City of Sin, where I was born to Lola, she was a showgirl with yellow feathers in her hair . . . okay, she was a stripper. Cliché, right? Tell me about it. Desperate to do something more, be more . . . I wind up the last place I expected—a one-stop wedding chapel. Cue the Elvis and grab the feathers. Instead of a … feathers.
Instead of a tacky wedding parlor or Vegas side show, what I find is a family, a place where I belong. So, when a smooth-talking suit shows up and threatens to take it all away, I’m determined to send him back where he came from Vegas style . . . literally.
What I didn’t count on was sharing the honeymoon suite with him. Talk about sleeping with the enemy.
What happens when the lights go out?
I just found out . . . and it changes everything.
*A sizzling story about a sassy woman trying to make her way in Sin City, and the sexy businessman that stands in her way. A one-stop wedding chapel and a line-up of secondary characters so zany and unique, you’ll want to book a room at the Honeymoon Hideaway and never leave!

I laughed and swooned throughout this book. Vegas is back in Las Vegas after a failed attempt to be an actress. She takes on and loves the job of running a Vegas wedding chapel with an eclectic group of friends.
She is shocked when the grandson of the deceased owners comes to take over. Grant is sex on a stick but Vegas feels vulnerable to his arrival.
The attraction between these two and the hilarious side characters ( especially the goat Bruce Reynolds) is amazing.
If you want a feel good snort out loud and swoon worthy read. Pick this up!
This is one of the those books that make you laugh out loud. Where you need to make sure people aren’t looking at you wrong… It is fun and when they say What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas “….well wait till you read this book. Exceptionally written and one that you wont forget this story for a very long time.
This book was a very short read, but it was funny, and full of cute little twist, that had me laughing at times. This is definitely a must read, with romance, and humor.

Vegas Manilow is down to $50 and her last hope when she shows up in Las Vegas, after leaving her dreams of being an actress in New York, to see if her Aunt Dottie can help her out. Aunt Dottie is more than happy to do so, and gives her a job in the One Stop Wedding Shop, owned by Harold and Darla. Harold and Darla are and older couple, and grandparents to Grant Foster, also known as Jujube. They have been telling him about Vegas, as they knew her as a child, and used to bring her a bag of quarters each week so that she could find the plastic ‘diamond’ rings that were hidden in among the gumballs in the gumball machine. She starts working there, and over a period of 18 months, she learns the business and creates a family out of the people who work there. Harold and Darla pass away after Darla has a stroke, and Vegas wants to make sure that the business continues on successfully. It does, until Grant Foster shows up. Vegas has a negative impression of him since he didn’t even bother to show up when his grandparents were buried. They get off on the wrong foot, but both are secretly drawn to each other, even if they don’t want to admit it.
There are some wonderful characters in this story, including a cigar-smoking goat, an aunt without a filter who tells it like it is, and several interesting supporting characters. These characters live on in the mind of the reader long after the story is finished. Grant has some explaining to do, but doesn’t rush into it. He wants Vegas to figure things out on her own. There is a lot of fun in this story, and a few misunderstandings, but things have a way of working out for both of the main protagonists. The goat adds some lighthearted laughter to the story, as does Aunt Dottie and her wigs and words. The pacing is just fast enough to keep the reader interested, without being rushed. Well done, Ms. Hart. This is a novella, and is part of the book Blackout, but each story is also sold separately.
I really enjoyed the characters. There were a few times when I was laughing out loud. It’s a short read and I wouldn’t have minded a little longer but it had a good pace that kept me interested.
I loved the sarcasm and humour, i’d recommend this
This is the 2nd book I’ve read written by Cary Hart; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I will definitely be reading more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

LOVED THIS BOOK! Grant and Vegas are lets just say a cinderella story!!
Cary never ceases to amaze me with her writing! She kept this story so funny and clever!
Honeymoon Hideaway is a laugh out loud short story about a woman named Vegas who heads back to Las Vegas to get a fresh start and gets a job at The One Stop Wedding Shop. Vegas and Grant are opposites but together they are hilarious. Great writing, fun romantic comedy and characters that entertained make this a 5 star read.
This book was so much fun to read. Has well developed and engaging characters with an easy flowing storyline. Grant and Vegas were a fun couple that met under some sad conditions but learned to love each other. I enjoyed each page turning of this book. The author was new to me.

A book filled with laughter and craziness. This will pull you out of any mood you’re in. Vegas and Jujube…I can’t even with the names. Las Vegas, the land of crazy, a smoking goat and a cast full of quirky characters-makes this hilarious. The situations, the tension, the pure crazy, it’s all so much fun. Then the slow fall, it’s beautiful and sweet. I love the little bit of spice as well. Wrap it up to be a great story that’s filed with fun!
Such a great fun quick read. Vegas and Grant are hilarious, have great back and forth banter and a sexual tension you can feel on the pages. And a Smoking Goat, what’s not to love about this book about a Wedding Store in Vegas! You will be laughing out loud during this one!
Vegas and Grant aka JuJube bring the chemistry and the heat to Las Vegas during this Blackout book. Laugh out loud funny, sweet and hot.

This story is all around the place. Characters are a bit chaotic. Some part are quiet funny ( specially when the goat is involved)

We often read about Las Vegas as a destination but what about the people that live there? Honeymoon Hideaway is about family, love, utter craziness and so much more. Read to find out about Vegas and Grant and all the amazing characters Cary Hart wrote for this story.

What do a goat, the daughter of a Las Vegas stripper and some meddling senior citizens have in common? They are all found in Cary Hart’s newest novella “Honeymoon Hideaway.” This is a fun and quick read that will have you laughing out loud at the antics of Burt, the cigar smoking goat (yes, I said goat!) and of Dottie, a romantic -at-heart senior citizen who can’t mind her own business.
Lists, lists, and more lists rule Vegas Manilow’s life and she swears by them. But one thing that was not on her list is Grant Foster who enters her life with, it seems, the primary objective to stir up her well-ordered existence. Their chemistry is off- the -charts and when a blackout darkens the whole city of Las Vegas, the fun begins.
An enemies to friends to lovers story that is worth the read!
Honeymoon Hideaway was a hoot! So darn hilarious and fun! I need a friend like Vegas in real life! This book was exceptionally written, and the storyline was superb!
Honeymoon Hideaway is an incredibly hilarious story of homecoming, love, utter craziness, rib-breaking laughter, sizzling heat, and joy. I loved it so much that I’ve read it exactly five times already. I do have to warn other readers, though. Do Not Eat or Drink Anything While Reading This Story. You will find yourself either choking on your food or finding your drink of choice going up your nose. I learned that the hard way. I chuckled, giggled, snort laughed, and nearly broke a rib laughing through this story.
I absolutely loved Vegas. Her life was anything but normal, and I loved her big heart. She just made me smile! And Grant…swoon! I loved how he got his nickname! All of his antics and his goal regarding Vegas made me snort laugh.
Cary Hart, I rarely give 5 stars to novellas, but this one stands out. I loved every single word. This is one story that I will reread often because it makes me laugh and its deliciously hot!
This romance comedy is one you don’t want to miss. The characters in this book will have you laughing out loud. Everyone needs an Aunt Dottie in their family to keep life interesting. Vegas Manilow returns home to Vegas and finds the most interesting group of people through her Aunt Dottie, only for them to become her family. When Grant Foster comes into the picture, all dynamics change. Burt R. keeps everything interesting throughout the story. The author not only keeps you wanting more of this story, she also has a way of showing her readers how one little act of kindness can make a difference in someones life. I picked up on a lot of things in this book, that brought it all together in the end. That being said, Cary Hart never disappoints her readers, she always writes amazing books. Put this one on your to read list.
I did love the supporting characters in Cary Hart’s Honeymoon Hideaway. Love Burt and his antics.
Well written with interesting, zany characters including a smokin’ goat. This is a laugh out loud fun read. Opposites attract story written in dual POV. Vegas is organized, full of lists type of gal, and Grant is the fly-by-the-seat-of-his-pants type of guy. Their mutual chemistry explodes when the city goes to a blackout. First book I’ve read by Cary Hart and eager to read more.
