The war raging outside is almost as unforgiving and tragic as the battle Eve must fight within herself…Eve thought landing in the year 1717, in a time of piracy and open sea battle was brutal, but 1777 was far worse. The American colonies may have declared their independence over a year ago, but the Redcoats stubbornly refused to accept defeat. The war continued to rage on, and the battles … battles fought were as acrimonious as they were destructive. Unsurprisingly, Enoch and his siblings were in the thick of it all, siring vampire militias to bolster the Continentals in their quest for true freedom.
To Eve, it quickly became clear that there were more schemes in play off the battlefields than on them, and as usual, she managed to insert herself in the center of the drama. Trouble, she learned, was the one thing that targeted her regardless of time or place. Even though Eve was built for maximum destruction, trouble might be the one thing she couldn’t outrun – no matter how fast she was.
The High Stakes Saga is young adult series perfect for fans of time travel, romance, vampires and those who hunt them, science fiction, and dystopian novels like The Hunger Games! Action-packed, gut-wrenching and deliciously romantic.
Suggested reading order for The High Stakes Saga: High Stakes, High Seas, High Society, High Noon and High Treason.

High Society is the third book in the High Stakes Saga and cannot be read as a stand alone. It begins where book two left off.
In the hopes that jumping together would take them home, the three assets instead find themselves in the midst of the Revolutionary War in South Carolina. As the English and American colonists battle it out, Eve finds that Enoch, Asa and Terrah are in the middle of the war effort siring vampires to help turn the tide in the colonists favor.
But, there is more at stake than just a war, and Eve finds herself surrounded by drama and intrigue and not sure who she can and cannot trust. She’s being targeted by more than one enemy who wants her dead and they get closer which each and every attempt they make on her life. She’s also battling memories of the things done to her in the asset program as well as a malfunctioning tech suit that doesn’t seem to be healing everything that ails her.
Will Eve find answers in 1777 or will she be left struggling to find her way back to the present day to right the wrongs against Enoch and get her revenge on Victor and Kael for turning her into a killing machine while manipulating everything she knew to get her to complete their mission?
Ahhhh . . .Casey L. Bond sure knows how to tell a story! I’m enthralled with the High Stakes Saga. Each installment takes readers on an unparalleled adventure that they have no chance at predicting what will happen.
These characters are ridiculously complex and it’s so easy to have strong feelings of love or hate for them . . . even if you understand (or think you understand as Casey is damn tricky) their motivations. I love that while Eve and Enoch are still the main focus, readers got to learn a lot more about Asa and Terrah as well as Eve’s trainer Maru.
Major plot twists and spoilers are revealed in this installment and readers will be thrilled and shocked and left wanting more. It’s so well done that I can’t even be angry that each book ends on a cliffhanger, because, I’m honestly left needing to mull over what all was revealed to set up what is coming next in High Noon. 5 stars!
Fast action and twists that leave you breathless and begging for more.
I’m already on pins and needles for the next one!! Eve and Titus still haven’t made it home but are jumping through time. In this one we get to see more from Asa as well. I have some theories on what is coming and that maybe what we’re seeing has more to it, but I won’t spoil that for you. 😀 Maru has discovered some things that terrify him on a base level and he knows he has to find Eve. The worst part is that Abram has been turned and he has a holier-than-thou self-righteous sort of attitude. And he knows more than Eve and Titus, I think. I really enjoyed this book. The mystery, intrigue, and suspense. I was on the edge of my seat right up until the last page. I did not want it to end! I cannot wait for the next one. definitely 5 stars and 2 thumbs way up!
The mystery of this book just keeps getting bigger, it keeps me hooked and gripped reading on and each page. I was shocked by the cliffhanger and it just makes me want to read the next book. Casey’s writing gets better with each book and I can’t wait to see where she takes the series next.

Wow! Another winner in the saga. I absolutely love this book. Again, ones we love and ones we would love to kill. Brilliantly written characters. The story arc is different than any other series I’ve read. I can’t say much more as I don’t do spoilers. Just grab it, and the other books if you have not read them, and enjoy!
I’m off to bug the author about when is the next book out. It’s what I do.
Casey’s mind is an amazing thing. The stories she comes up with! This one starts where High Seas ends, so I strongly recommend that they be read in order.
Casey Bond bends time, space and adventure to her will with High Society!
Casey Bond bends time, space and adventure to her will with her third installment in the High Stakes saga with High Society. Now, you absolutely must read all of these to follow along with Eve as she travels through time to rid the world of the vampire race.
With each new installment of this saga, Bond creates even more depth with unexpected revelations, insight into all the characters mind and the hope of peace. In this installment she branches out past just Eve and her target Enoch. We finally get more from her trainer Maru and Enoch’s brother, Asa, that gives us way more insight into what happened as Eve time traveled. Is the story she has been given the last few years even true???
High Society will keep you literally on the edge of your seat guessing what will happen next! Bond gives one heck of an ending that will leave you hanging, but engaged all the less. Don’t mind me, I’m just strumming my fingers patiently waiting… Even though it’s a little cliffy, Bond pulls it off in a way that is less throw your book and more salivate for more. I can’t wait to see what happens next with these characters!
Another great book in a fantastic series. Time for another era in time. The things you read through each book keep you going till the next book, then you want another and another, going to be so sad when it ends.
