I had secrets that were drowning me, and my worst fear was he was going to get tired of waiting for me to put my big girl panties on and reveal the biggest one.Him.ShilohMy life started out with a tragedy—the death of my mother. But I had something no other infant had, six amazing men. My father and his brothers in arms raised me and gave me the best life any kid could ask for.I grew up in the … life any kid could ask for.
I grew up in the loving arms of the Wounded Souls, and each and every one of them protected and loved me beyond measure. Even when I lost two of the most important people in my life, the Souls never let me fall.
After Dad met and married the best woman I had the pleasure of knowing, she and her flock, also wonderful women, gave me the feminine balance I needed in a life of soldiers turned bikers. They taught me to rise to every challenge and always be true to myself.
Somewhere, I lost sight of that on the way to my aspirations to make my mark.
Falling in love with a man who would die for me, adored me, and would do anything for me, should have been the happiest time of my life. So why was I hiding him?
Could I really have it all? Or would my obsession with being everything and having it all mean I would lose the one person who meant everything?
Then there was my ghost. Having him and his promise not to leave me was both a blessing and a curse. He knew all my secrets, and he also knew how to press my buttons.
The danger of Rogue is a distant memory, and the kids of the Wounded Souls are all grown up. The club princess has big dreams and even bigger secrets. Will she keep her dreams alive and keep the love of her prince?

Wow! Just wow! I’m writing this with tears still in my eyes, but warmth in my heart. Leah Sharelle never ceases to amaze me. She’s an outstanding story teller, who knows how to capture your attention and your heart from the beginning, keep you on your toes, and leave you breathless by the end of each story. The Wounded Souls are one of my favorite MC families, and yes I said family. These men are everything any woman would want, their love, loyalty, and protective nature is simply beautiful. I’m glad Shiloh got her own book and that she found a wonderfully loving Prince. Darth (Darf) has always been her protector and has always been by her side. He watched her grow, like all the other men who raised her, but now it’s time to let go and watch her flourish. I loved everything about this book.
4.5 stars
Can all MC books have a ghost please??!
Shiloh grew up with an incredible family of overprotective, alpha soldiers turned bikers raising her. Having lost her mother during childbirth, she didn’t have much of a feminine influence but she had the best men she’s ever known raising her. As they found their women, she gained bonus moms to help smooth out her rough edges; still she’s not much of a girly girl. Determined to live up to the amazing men who raised her and who run the Wounded Souls, she strives to excel at everything, always trying to prove herself. Now she’s making a name for herself in a man’s world. But somewhere along the way to proving herself, she forgot that she never had to. The only person who ever doubted her was herself. And it just might cost her her happily ever after.
He’s waited for her his entire life. Everything has always revolved around her, his princess. But having to hide their relationship is slowly killing him inside. Intellectually he understands why she thinks they have to keep their relationship under wraps but she doesn’t see that she’s already proven everything she needs to. He can’t do it anymore, he can’t hide how much he loves her and wants to build a life with her. Something’s gotta give.
This book was fantastic. Our hero, his princess and her ghost wove a tale that spoke right to the heart. I personally love that this MC isn’t an outlaw club, so much more to love about all these men and the lives they’ve built. I don’t want to give anything away but while unconventional, the man that Shiloh chose to love fully lives up to the wonderful men of the series. He’s protective, passionate and deliciously naughty and so in love with her it hurts.
And then there’s Darth…after getting to know Shiloh and Darth in His Man (Lucky’s book) I vowed to catch up with all the Wounded Souls. They are a fantastic MC family, unlike any other I’ve read, complete with their own ghost! While Darth isn’t the main love interest, since he’s… you know dead, his and Shiloh’s interaction bring such an unique level to the book. I adore them! I’ve never wanted to be haunted more!!
AnnMarie – Alphas Do It Better Book Blog
This was the book I had been waiting on in this series. Shiloh has been with us from the very first book so to finally see her in our minds as a grown up was truly amazing. Leah Sharelle did this character justice and gave us even more than we could have hoped for. Our sassy 4 year old grew up into a beautiful, confident and strong woman but something was holding her back. This story was emotional, sexy, sassy, action packed and took us full circle with the Wounded Souls MC. However I will warn you, for all of those who have taken the journey of this series, this is the one that will have you crying like a baby. The tears will be sad but at the same time happy as all the characters finally reach that time and the right path.
First off I want to say that I am really going to miss this series going forward. This series has so many wonderful character’s and we fell in love with each and every one of these character’s in this on going series. The author did and amazing job bringing the series to a close and it was Epic !
I am not going to lie to you I cried and balled my eyes out throughout the whole entire story. The story was funny and it also was heart wrenching in the fact that the series was coming to a close but, most of all the entire story was and emotional one all around. We had been with Shiloh for so long we felt like we were part of her upbringing too and I have to say that she gave us tons of laughs along the way.We loved seeing Shiloh as an adult because we always imagined how she would turn out as an adult and we are glad to find out she was still the same old Shiloh just a much older version.
“We just loved that!”
I loved seeing the original cast of character’s like Booth,Mannix,Steel,Deck,Creed Lucky,Ford and of course the flock aka the old ladies still made us laugh out loud time and time again. It was also nice meeting all the children all grown up and how they all turned out and how many kids the members ended up having.Creed you surprised me the most you dirty dog lol.
I absolutely loved Shiloh’s story. We loved seeing her turn into this beautiful women fall in love, achieve her dreams, carve out a life along with her brothers ( that’s weird to say) all the while staying the same loving and caring, vibrant, funny child we fell in love with all those years ago.
Omg ! Zander if Shiloh wasn’t my favorite character he would be neck and neck in line for the title.I fell head over heels in love with him myself.Holy Sexy Alpha! On god did he make a girls panties wet. lol
Favorite quote – “I love you, too, baby. You are the sugar on my Froot Loops, the Zeke to my LT, the shit to my kickers, the effing tomy Fanta,” I said and laughed when he pinched me on the bottom, his arms still holding me tightly.”
There were so many things that made me cry but,Shiloh professing her love for Zander had me balling my eyes out and every time I still think of that moment I still want to cry.I was glad to see that Shiloh still was a bad***.OMG ! and her with Darf as she calls him was simply heart wrenching as well as funny and some of those conversations made me want to cry as well as belly laugh.
“We still love and miss the big guy!”
Some favorite quotes- “All right, all right, keep ya pants on, Vader.”
Zander- “My parents had the love story of the century, a story of second chances and forgiveness.”
The romance between Shiloh and Zander was super super hot.(what a lucky girl) I loved that she found her soul mate as well as being her perfect match for her in every way and they made one heck of a power couple.
This current story as well as the entire series was pure enjoyment and we loved being on this journey with these character’s every minute. We loved the character’s and fell in love with them all broken pieces and all.We loved that each and everyone of these soldiers found solace in their women and they were able to bring them out of the darkness and into the light. The old ladies which were called the Flock gave us tons of laughs we loved each and everyone of these strong women.
We loved each and every story in this series with Booth,Steel,Deck’s,Mannix,Creed,Ford & Lucky’s all were emotional and heartfelt that made us laugh and cry but, most of all we loved how they all found their soul mates even though it was one rocky journey.
For me the author could not have created a better ending. The tears never stopped the last several chapter’s and honestly I never wanted it to end.Shiloh’s last conversations with Darth sent me right over the edge.I was still and emotional wreck for the next several hours after reading it.
A series to be remembered always !
One of my top favorite series for 2019!
Shiloh you rock girl!
Recommended read to all !
This is the sixth book in this phenomenal series. Shiloh has always been the clubs princess, and has gone from childhood to an independent woman with my all time favourite alpha by her side – Darth. Shiloh is now the clubs VP, and keeps her relationship with the love of her life a secret from the club. Secrets have a way of being revealed though; will this be the end for them? No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is one of the best MC series which I have ever read! This is a beautifully written flawless story which is heartbreaking, and had an emotional goodbye. I was totally captivated throughout, and I cannot wait to read more from this exceedingly talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all.
Absolutely Phenomenal! The sassy, Potty Mouth Princess of the Wounded Souls MC, has stolen our hearts since she the day she was born and brought to the clubhouse to be raised by 7 bikers (who had NO CLUE how to raise a child). She has grown from her little pink tutu’s, black S…kickers and kiddie combat gear to a full fledged biker chick has three life goals: have her VP position in the club taken seriously, take over the Prez spot when Booth decides to hang it up and marry her prince.
Ms. Sharelle has totally outdone herself with Shilo’s story and the way she carried on Darth’s character was simply amazing. Don’t get me wrong, the book is full of MC action and drama when a new MC arrives in town causing havoc, especially when they find out the Wounded Souls have a woman as a VP. But the inside story of Shilo and her prince will have you smiling, sighing and laughing. I mean can you imagine not only having to tell one biker dad you’re in love with their daughter but having to tell 7 bikers as well as the flock?
There is so much I want to say but to spoil this book would be a crime. This is a Total MUST READ SERIES, that I recommend reading from the start. If you like MC books then grab the series up and simply enjoy. My only regret is that I can’t offer Her Prince and the entire series more than 5 stars, it is definitely in my top 5 as far as biker series go. Kudo’s Ms. Sharelle and I look forward to reading your next endeavor.
Best. MC. Book. Ever!
This entire series is filled with men who are rough alphas and adore their women. The MC club is one of true loyalty and while they still live by their own rules they have made a club to be proud of.
Shilo was an adorable child raise by these tough guys with no women to help them figure out how to raise a baby girl. They taught her lots of things. Bad language not one of their more stellar achievements. She wanted to be just like them and why not? Good guys with honorable military backgrounds.
As each of her uncles found the woman to complete them, Shilo learned more and remained tough but also found her woman side as well. Her accomplishments are as good and even better than the men of the club, earning her unique status. That she fell for one of the guys is expected more than a surprise. He’s deserving of her and in for some tough moments.
Proving herself has never been a problem. When some new players hit their territory will that change. Is she really strong enough to handle the danger?
The man she loves is worthy of her and is a man any woman would dream of having. There is humor, steam and I mean plenty of steam, flashbacks to the best of times. She has another protector we all have loved. Yes, Ms. Sharelle you are forgiven. JUST DON’T DO IT AGAIN.
This book was everything I’d hoped for and so much more! There is so much I want to say, but I don’t want to give anything away! Let’s just say that this book is going right to the top of my favorite reads this year, and I doubt that anything will knock it from that spot!
Shiloh has had a rough life, but she has also had a good life (clear as mud, right). She’s lost some very important people in her life, but she has also grown up with the love and support of a whole family full of bikers. She isn’t a typical “girlie girl” but instead has carved out her own place in life with confidence that she is following the right path. Until that path isn’t so clear anymore, and the consequences of her choices are thrown right in front of her. And then when things seem to be perfect again, surprises come up that she never could have anticipated.
This book is full of surprises! I was kept on the edge of my seat during the entire story! It was great to see all of the characters from previous books, (as well as meeting some new ones!) and there are even some that you wouldn’t expect to be looking for! I loved this book, from beginning to end, but don’t be surprised if you shed a few tears along the way!
