New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg, is back with a new Kincade sister and a swoon-worthy football player in an all new standalone romance that will make you believe in first crushes and true love. I’ve signed numerous players to my family’s agency—I assumed winning over my next client would be just as easy. The last thing I expected was to run into the boy who took my first kiss and … expected was to run into the boy who took my first kiss and broke my heart: only now Drew Bowman is all grown up.
Sexy. Scandal-tainted. Second-string. The crush I never got over.
I tell myself work is the reason I can’t get him out of my head. I tell him his talent far outweighs his position, and I know I can help. I lie and lie, because admitting that I want a second chance at my first love is impossible.
Some lines cannot be crossed, and ours was drawn in the sand years ago.

I’m supposed to hate her.
I’ve been told so time and again for ten years – her father ruined our family, smeared my name before my career even began.
But that’s not what I’m feeling now.
Brexton Kincade just strode out of my memories and onto my field.
Driven. Determined. Grown up. The Capulet to my Montague.
Being with her would be an unforgivable sin against my father, but I can’t resist the pull between us. Even if it means hiding what we have. Even if it means confronting the secrets I’ve always feared were lies.
Are you ready to fall for the Kincade sisters and then men who love them in K. Bromberg’s sexy, contemporary, sports romance series? These books can all be read as standalones, but you’ll enjoy reading them as a series!

Brexton Kincade just strode out of my memories and onto my football field. Some lines cannot be crossed, and ours was drawn in the sand years ago…
It started with a kiss in the Keys. Brexton had a teenage crush on Drew. Drew being a teenage boy broke her heart. Then a scandal broke out involving his father , her mother died and they didn’t see each other for 9 yrs. it’s instant lust and attraction, they fall quickly but it’s complicated. They have to maneuver past scandals, family loyalty and secrets. Brexton is a romantic at heart. She wants the fairytale and often gets her heart broken. She tries to be cautious with Drew. He is caught up in the past but he is a good guy. His family is a mess. The story is just as intense as the others and is full of emotion. Brexton and Drew’s chemistry jumps off the pages. Sexy Sports romance with a good storyline. The characters have depth and realistic situations. Another great add to the series.
5 SWOON WORTHY STARS!! Oh my….I am so in love with these two. Drew and Brexton are just so sexy as all getup. I enjoyed their whole story from beginning to end. This is one that should be on your TBR and make it soon.
I am totally digging the Hard series. Each book is about one of the feisty Kincade sisters, who are all female-sports agents, working in a male-dominated field and totally killing it. The latest release, Hard to Score is the third book in the series.

The story of Brexton Kincade & football player Drew Bowman, Hard to Score is a childhood friends to enemies to lovers, second chance romance, and let me tell you – the second chance trope typically isn’t my jam, but I devoured this. Hard to Score was one of the books I spent cuddled up with this week as our family dealt with power outages, and it was such a delicious escape. It’s low angst, which was perfect since I had enough stressful stuff going on, and it’s emotional and sexy with the perfect amount of flashbacks and intriguing secrets. Looking forward to the next book!
Who’d have thought that a decision on what should have been a family celebrating a fantastic sports event, would turn into a life changing disaster!
One thing I loved about Drew all the way through this is his determination and his loyalty to the game, but what was hard to read was the family struggles that seem to be mounting up higher and higher but just much was it going to pile up before things started to fall apart?
Brex fierce but loving kind but smart. I really liked the laid back life that Brex had the view of. She likes to take opportunities when they come along as well as wearing her heart on her sleeve and wasn’t afraid to show it. That didn’t mean you could walk over her.
For these two life was just about to throw them back into each other’s lives but when the reunion wasn’t a happy one sparks definitely flew……. but not for the right reasons. They haven’t seen each other in years so when the past comes up who is the first one to shut it down and why?
ILYHTS
Another great read from Kristy, I really enjoyed this book and this series, I fell into easy and it was an easy read.
Each book (this being book 3) is about one of the Kincade sisters and this time it was about Brexton coming face to face with her childhood crush Drew !
The story flowed lovely, the character development perfect and the way they dealt with the truth and the sacrifices made by others was handled brilliantly !
Overall a great read

This is the first book in the series and enjoyed reading Brexton Kincade and Drew Bowman’s story. They go back to their childhood days where their families were always together to the point that they even took vacations together. They had a moment on one of their trips that begin to change their feelings towards one another. However; life threw their family challenges that have cause the families to have a falling out.
Years have past and Drew and Brexton crosses paths again. They begin forming a friendship and their history between families is a constant wonder for answers. Drew was always told to keep thing in the down low with his family personal life but something about Brexton is making him want to be find the truth. She brings a side of him that is worth of experiencing and wanting more.
Get ready for your mind and heart to play games with you along with an intense chemistry between two people you hope will find their happiness. Looking forward to reading the rest of the books in the Play Hard Series.

Awwww *heart eyes*… Hard To Score is so powerfully and heartwarmingly ROMANTIC! Another Bromberg’s addictive brand of romance, that leaves you on sporty romance cloud nine. From a sweet teenage infatuation, to a soul completing passion, and delicious banter, Beckett and Drew, not only showed us their personal growth and relationship blossoming, but the exquisite intricacies of so many other types of love, and familial love truly is the core of this series, and what makes the Kincades shine bright, along with that epic love. I’m here for every second of it! <3 <3 <3 <3
Another great novel in the Play Hard series of interconnected sports romances from K. Bromberg. Each novel in the series is a stand-alone happily-ever-after.
Hard to Score is a former-friends-to-lovers romance featuring Brexton, a sports agent, and Drew, a star quarterback. Brexton and Drew were close friends until a scandal separated their families. When they get back in touch years later, that friendship has blossomed into off-the-charts chemistry.
Both Brex and Drew are really strong, well-developed characters. Drew has some issues to resolve, and Brex is there to help him through, being supportive even though she has some insecurities of her own to deal with. Some angst, but not so much angst that it dominates the story, so there is a good balance.
I love this series! A group of strong, successful young women not only surviving but thriving in the male dominated field of professional sports management, with Dad at the helm. This story features Brexton, the romantic, soft-hearted sister. She is reconnected with her teen crush and football quarterback Drew. The families were inseparable until a scandal with mysterious circumstances tore the kids apart. After a chance encounter Bratty Brex and Dreadful Drew are back together after years of no contact. Drew is still furious with the Kincade family especially Dad. Even so, the chemistry between the old friends is undeniable and Brex is ready to realize her dream of Dreamy Drew. Not really a second chance romance but these two have history that’s revealed in flashbacks and reminiscing. I love Brex whether she’s in boss businesswoman mode or ‘get your man’ vixen mode. I did miss more of the KSM side of the story with the athletes. Brex did have one diva football player she was going after but there didn’t seem as much business in this story as the previous two. As usual the interactions between the sisters are a treat and Dad was really spectacular in this one. Drew is a sexy hunk with a past that’s fraught with family drama and just a mess that’s not only affecting his past but his present. It took forever for the secrets to come out and the drama was a little weird for me. It just seemed to drag with not much juice for the squeeze. While this one wasn’t my favorite, this is a terrific series with wonderful family, swoon-worthy romance, dreamy hunks and fabulous sisterhood. I can’t wait for the next story. Bring on Chase! I hope Dad get a story. An age gap with a female athlete would be so exciting. Just saying.
Oh my heavens I am loving this series. This is Brexton and Drew’s story and it is a shows stopper.
Growing up they were friends and their families were close then a scandal put a wedge between them and tainted any relationship that they could have had. Now a chance encounter years later has once again brought these friends, lovers, enemies face to face and it may be time for answers.
Brexton is a woman in a man’s world she is is a successful sports agent and fierce !
I loved Brexton she is strong, intelligent, driven and just beautiful inside and out .
Drew is just trying to be the best player that he can and the odds of his past seemed to be stacked against him. He is always waiting on the sidelines in the shadow of others but soon his abilities and hard work as a second string quarterback are soon limelight but so is the scandal from the past. I loved watching this couple learn to trust one another again and do their best to move forward and succeed in life, love and family!

A swoon-worthy football player to fall head of heels for, I’m in! K Bromberg’s Hard to Score is a second chance sports romance with all the swoons!
I was so excited for Brexton and Drew’s story. So much was in their history together that each page was sucking me in more and more. The chemistry, the feels, I just LOVED this couple.
“Hard to Score” by K. Bromberg was a sweet, sexy, and emotional story that featured endearing characters and a well-crafted friends-to-enemies-to-lovers romance between sports agent Brexton Kincade and NFL quarterback Drew Bowman. Brexton and Drew’s parents were best friends as they grew up, but the families drifted apart following a scandal involving Drew’s dad and the death of Brexton’s mom shortly thereafter. When Brexton and Drew met again years later as adults, the intense attraction between them was immediately apparent, but Drew was determined to keep Brexton at arm’s length because of his belief that Brexton’s father had somehow been responsible for his father’s downfall. Drew and Brexton kept running into each other, however, and their awkwardly rekindled friendship soon turned into something more.
There was a lot of family baggage for Drew and Brexton to work through before they could even contemplate the idea of a long-term relationship. The secrets Drew’s father had been keeping for so many years weighed heavily on his entire family, especially Drew, who needed to learn the truth or risk making a choice between his fractured family and his new love. I appreciated how sensitive Brexton was to Drew’s struggles in this regard; she tried to help him see that he deserved answers from his father because of the impact the scandal continued to have on his own life and career, but didn’t push him into doing anything before he was ready.
Overall, I loved “Hard to Score” every bit as much as the previous books in this series and highly recommend it for fans of emotional contemporary romance and sports romance. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book of the series!

Brexton (awesome name!) cannot believe her eyes. The boy she crushed on, her once family friend, the one who placed her firmly in the friend zone, crushing her heart, is practicing his throws right in front of her. He’s here, in the industry. The industry she and her family’s agency represent. How has she not seen him the whole time? And will she ever get over that old crush?
Drew’s been living with the scandal of his father’s career crash and burn for so many years that he doesn’t know how to be in the world without the weight pressing down on him. The weight of never gaining his father’s love, of never being good enough, the weight of everything. Then his past comes waltzing into his life when Bratty Brex, the girl whose family his family despises, spies him practicing after a game. He shouldn’t want her, shouldn’t let her distract him. But there’s always been something about Brex that called to him, the girl who would watch the stars with him. And he won’t let his family tell him he can’t have her. Not this time. Can he be the man she deserves, be good enough for her, even though his family might say she shouldn’t be anywhere near him?
This is definitely my favorite of the series so far. Brex is quite unlike her sisters, more open, more sweet, more everything. And she and Drew are such a great couple. She’s there for him, his rock while he figures out his dysfunctional home life. Speaking of that home life…wow, wasn’t expecting that, but I love that Brex never gave up on him while he was getting his head on straight. And I love that the story ended on a note of hope in that area. But most of all, I just love how sweet and sexy Drew and Brex are together.
Old friends and family secrets unfold! Hard to Score is the third book in the Play Hard series and it does NOT disappoint! Watching this story unfold was extremely cathartic for me, especially the way Brexton slowly broke down Drew’s walls and opened his heart up to love. If anything, it just makes me love Brexton’s dad even more than before! My favorite in the series so far, as I’ve enjoyed watching each of the sisters find their other halves, I can’t wait for the next book to release. A wonderful sports romance with all the feels, and a few douche-canoe players that you’ll love to hate!
Wow! K. Bromberg did it again! I love every bit of this book. It has angst. It has fire. It has heart. Drew and Brexton are the stars of book 3. Their chemistry is off the charts. I felt every emotion they felt and had to see their story till the end. Can’t wait for book 4. If you’re a sports romance fan you should definitely try this. Worth reading!!
This is the third book in the Play Hard series, Brexton and Drew’s story and friends to lovers, second chance, with a bit of suspense, angst, and all the sport romance you love. Of course, the chemistry is scorching, the plotline will keep you reading to find out the mystery behind some things that happened in their past. Your emotions will be everywhere, up and down, with twists and turns. All of these books are a delight to read, definitely a recommendation for anyone enjoying sport romance, I can’t wait to read the last one but also it will be bittersweet as I am loving this series so much.
4.25 stars! I am really loving this series! With every book we get new swoony heroes and feisty sisters. I loved Brexton and Drew’s dynamic, witty banter, and turmoil. That said, I needed more angst. I felt some parts of the story weren’t completely executed, but it didn’t take away from the book. I guess my greedy a$$ wanted more from the epilogue. Nevertheless, I am excited for the last book and I am hoping the hero is someone we love to hate
This installment of the Kincade Sisters will make you say .. I loved it and hated it all at the same time !! Dreadful Drew and Bratty Braxton are me new FAVORITE COUPLE !!
