New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg, is back with a new Kincade sister and a swoon-worthy football player in an all new standalone romance that will make you believe in first crushes and true love. I’ve signed numerous players to my family’s agency—I assumed winning over my next client would be just as easy. The last thing I expected was to run into the boy who took my first kiss and … expected was to run into the boy who took my first kiss and broke my heart: only now Drew Bowman is all grown up.
Sexy. Scandal-tainted. Second-string. The crush I never got over.
I tell myself work is the reason I can’t get him out of my head. I tell him his talent far outweighs his position, and I know I can help. I lie and lie, because admitting that I want a second chance at my first love is impossible.
Some lines cannot be crossed, and ours was drawn in the sand years ago.

I’m supposed to hate her.
I’ve been told so time and again for ten years – her father ruined our family, smeared my name before my career even began.
But that’s not what I’m feeling now.
Brexton Kincade just strode out of my memories and onto my field.
Driven. Determined. Grown up. The Capulet to my Montague.
Being with her would be an unforgivable sin against my father, but I can’t resist the pull between us. Even if it means hiding what we have. Even if it means confronting the secrets I’ve always feared were lies.
Are you ready to fall for the Kincade sisters and then men who love them in K. Bromberg’s sexy, contemporary, sports romance series? These books can all be read as standalones, but you’ll enjoy reading them as a series!

Kincade Sports Managment.
That’s widowed dad-boss Kenyon Kincade and his four daughters.
Third daughter to fight for her happily ever after in love and job is Brexton.
She’s trying to sign the young QB of the New York football team when she suddenly sees him. Drew. Her childhood/teenage crush. She hasn’t seen him in years. Something happened with their dads back then …
But why is he not the starting quarterback for the team? He’s so much better than the guy she’s supposed to sign? What’s going on? And can Brexton and Drew start again where they never really started as kids because their family stopped being friends?
LET THE FUN TIMES BEGIN…
I really enjoyed reading this.
Cute. Footbally. Sports-agent-ish.
A bit mysterious – because we don’t find out for a while what happened back then.
And it’s also a bit hopeless, because the families probably won’t be happy about them being in love.
But it was adorable to watch them fall for each other and trying to balance everything – family, sports, business, feelings, secrets, the past …
We’re rooting for them so badly!
This was a really sweet and sexy and emotional sports romance!
Can’t wait to read the final book!
And I also wouldn’t mind seeing a girl-power Jerry McGuire kind of sports-rom-com series on Netflix one day!
4 Stars
Hard to Score is a second chance, friends to enemies to lovers story and I fell hard for Drew and Brexton. Growing up together, their families always vacationed together until one day they didn’t. Now, as adults, there’s no denying the chemistry is still there, but they are hesitant to move forward because of their family feud in the past. This one is delicious and Bromberg delivers at every turn with this one. It will certainly heat up the pages and keep you turning until the end.

Hard To Score is the kind of story that once I start to read it, I couldn’t stop. This book consumes my thoughts, a second chance story that has so many layers, love, lies, secrets and discovering the truth. It’s one second chance story that’s sexy and adorable. I highly recommend this series.
Sport romance! (check), hot alpha male (check), strong independent female (check), steamy (check), the rift that either breaks up the couple or makes them stronger (check)!
Brexton and Drew grew up together as kids, their families vacationed together! Then one summer everything changed and the kids not longer saw each other. They both had teenage crushes on each other but never followed through since the families no longer talk.
Move forward 15 years later…Brexton and Drew meet again by chance and start to hang out. The teenage feelings have developed into more.
Will these two be able to get past the rift in the family that took them apart? Repair it and have a happily ever after?
Hard to Score is one of K Bromberg’s best!!
Hard to Score is everything I look for in a sexy sports romance! Kristy brings the perfect mix of steam and heart break, delivering a swoon worthy happily ever after.
A new sports romance from K Bromberg to make us swoon! It’s a second chance, unrequited love loaded with sweetness and steam!

This is the third book in The Play Hard Series and it is a captivating read from beginning to end. Brexton and Drew grew up together. Their families spent vacations with each other until a tragic event transpired that was never to be mentioned. This left indelible scars on each family and tore them apart. Fast forward ten years and Brexton runs into Drew in her professional capacity and the feelings they shared for one another start to bubble up to the surface. However, Drew’s family is intractable with regards to their feelings towards Brexton’s family to the point where they do not acknowledge that they even exist. Can Brexton and Drew find a way back to each other? Overall, this is one sports romance that is more than meets the eye. The characters have serious heat between them and the drama that unfolds is nothing short of fascinating. Adding in the additional Kincade sisters brings another level of wit to this already enjoyable storyline.
Brexton Kincade just strode out of my memories and onto my football field. Some lines cannot be crossed, and ours was drawn in the sand years ago.
This series and these sisters are owning my heart and so far I think I love Brexton and Drew the best!
This story is passionate, heart breaking, steamy and simply put and Amazing read! I read it twice, because I couldn’t leave them. Their story from childhood crush to adult romance is inspiring, total couple goals going on in this book. Drew’s struggle to keep his family and Brex with out shattering his heart and his world in the process. His struggle was what has me going back to this beautiful story.
This author creates characters that are easy to connect with. This story excited me and filled my heart with warmth. I look forward to seeing more of them in this series, because for me one book is not enough of this beautiful couple. I want more of Drew and Brex!
I have been a K. Bromberg fan from the get-go and there is a reason I continue to read her books so faithfully. She has the ability to bring you into a story, into characters’ lives that make you feel like you are in their inner circle – that you are part of their story.
This story, the 3rd in the series about the Kincaid girls…women who are in the male-dominated sports management field. This book is Brexton’s story. She tough and takes no sh*t from anyone! But she has a heart underneath all the bravado and some insecurities (but don’t we all).
Her family, growing up, was close with the Bowman family and then there was a falling out. One that Brexton ever understood.
Drew Bowman, grew up with Brexton, having family vacations together, and then without warning the family friendship ends, it was heartbreaking for him in so many ways.
Fast forward and Brexton and Drew’s paths cross and there are immediate sparks – but with their uncertain past – they are hesitant. There was chemistry between these two before they even admitted to each other or themselves that this was inevitable.
K. Bromberg’s characters are some of my favorite. No one is perfect and we see all the flaws with both Brexton and Drew and that is what makes me love these two so much. Their ability to be honest with each other when they aren’t sure of exactly what’s going on – there are no misunderstandings of feeling because these two are so honest that it’s refreshing. I loved the intimacy these two shared, in and out of the bedroom.
Hard to Score is my new favorite in this series.
Another heartfelt and emotional book in this series. I loved these two characters and their journey.
I definitely recommend this book and can’t wait for the next one in this series.
Another amazing book by this extremely talented author. There was steam, romance, obstacles to overcome, healing, heart breaking moments, passion and jaw dropping sexiness – so many feels. I laughed, cried, and swooned throughout the story and loved every single up and down. My heart broke for each of the characters, which had me falling deeper in love with them.
Hero – Drew
Heroine – Brexton
Overall Views – Oh My Word!!!! Really enjoyed this one. Loved the relationship between Dreadful Drew and Bratty Brex .
I felt it was a bit long and drawn out and the secret should have just been over and done with quickly. Other then that, I enjoyed seeing these two charaters work out all the things keeping them apart!!…

This series just seems to be getting better and better and each book just has me in complete AWE of K Bromberg and her story telling skills.
This is Brexton’s road to romance and her child hood crush Drew who comes back into her life. They had grown up together their familes friendly and close.Until a Scandal rocks Drew’s family and has consequences for Brexton’s family too…they grow apart and don’t see one another for many years…Until Now.
But the past has haunted Drew and has impacted on his career as an NFL QB in a negative way as he never gets to play he is always on the side lines watching even though he is one of the best, and because their families are no longer friendly, being with Brexton may be seen as a betrayal to his father..But Brexton is someone he is not willing to give up and Vice Versa.Brexton has crushed on Drew since she could remember and seeing him again just reignites her desire for him but will digging up the past for closure so they can be together, only drive a wedge between them.
This is such an enjoyable, and Amazing story that kept me gripped I actually could not read fast enough..because I needed to know what would happen..it had me intrigued, and had me swooning in equal measure.I Love the characters in these books each sister and every hero, I am even warming to Finn !!..
Brexton and Drew are soul mates they were sexy, sweet and romantic I relished Hard To Score it charmed me through-out I couldn’t get enough.
Another winner for K Bromberg.
I highly recommend it
5 super Stars.
I’ve read every book in this series so far and my favorite part of each of them is the last half. The beginning is when readers are getting to know the characters but the last half is when things start happening.
Hard to Score was phenomenal and I loved the outcome of this story. The story progressed perfectly and lead up to an amazing ending. I loved the characters and the fact that they were old friends with so much history between them and their families. This added a new layer of suspense and desire to seek out the truth.
I highly recommend this book and all the books in this series.
I truly love this series. To me, it’s some of K. Bromberg’s best work to date. There is just something addicting about the Kincaid sisters and their wonderful father. This time around, it’s Brexton’s turn. The more cautious one. The one who works hard from sun up to sundown making sure her clients are happy and respected. The sister who never forgot her teenage crush and who is now back in his world, shocking them both. A second chance of sorts that is anything but easy but clearly worth all the ups and downs.
Bratty Brex and Dreadful Drew. There is a chemistry that never fully went away between these two from the moment they lay eyes on each other 10 years after a horrible time in both of their lives. With Brex trying her hardest to forget the girl she once was, hurt by the good-looking Drew Benson as a moody teenager, it was evident neither had a chance at being away from each other again. Theirs is a fast-paced kind of rekindling where they can’t keep their hands off each other and yet avoid all the difficult conversations about a past neither of them fully understand. Even all this time later.
Getting to the real reasons why the Benson and Kincaid families parted ways takes a bit of time. I needed to be patient as I watched these two soulmates almost throw away what they had found in each other more than once. Knowing that at some point, all of Drew’s fears, all of his worry surrounding his family would come to a painful head. Hoping that Brex wouldn’t walk away for good if the tough discussions never happened.
Although Brex shows her moxie with her clients on a daily basis, something I love about these Kincaid sisters, I missed the camaraderie that these fierce women had in the prior books. Their interactions were way too scarce since they are a true highlight as they navigate their complicated love lives. But I was thankful for the ones that did happen and the advice, whether Brex wanted it or not, that was given from the heart.
Overall, this is a well-written and engaging book. There is a ton of emotion and I teared up a time or two as Brex remembers her beloved mother and memories come flooding into her mind at key points in the story. The history between her family and Drew’s is emotional and difficult at best, by I’m hopeful that in future books, things only get better for all of them.
Once again, extremely easy to read and to get lost in for an afternoon, I happily give Hard to Score 4 stars.
I’m really enjoying this series with these sisters and all these hot book boyfriends of athletes. This one is super cute with second chance childhood friends that lose touch for years until a chance encounter. There is also a lot of old and new family drama that makes this relationship even harder. This one has steam steam and more chemistry from all the years later and now. Drew is a second string quarterback that is always on the bench for years until Brexton comes into his life. Drew is sweet with his niece and a wonderful teammate. Brex is also dealing with his asshole teammate that she is trying to switch over to her, she is one strong women.

I’ve signed numerous players to my family’s agency—I assumed winning over my next client would be just as easy. The last thing I expected was to run into the boy who took my first kiss and broke my heart: only now Drew Bowman is all grown up. Loved it, what a beautiful story between these two characters, the story line was interesting and addictive, the characters were wonderful with a chemistry that you could feel sparkle between them. This was a really lovely feel good read that I thoroughly enjoyed.
This story is a little bit of a second-chance romance, Romeo and Juliet forbidden love, and I’m here for it!
Drew Bowman, aka “Dreamy Drew” or “Dreadful Drew” depending on who you ask, has been a second string QB for a NFL for seven years, but that’s not where he belongs. Drew has talent the is not only in his blood but a talent that he perfects when the first string QB does not. Unfortunately, due to a past family scandal, Drew is carrying some baggage, some hurt feelings, and is a broken man. Drew hasn’t seen Brexton Kincade in many years and thought he never would after their families parted ways after being friends for years. When “Bratty Brexton” breezes back into his life, he is not ready for the emotions she stirs in him.
Brexton Kincade is one of the Kincade sisters that works as a sports agent at the family business. She is trying to recruit a first string QB, Justin Hobbs, when she runs into a childhood friend, Dreadful Drew. When she comes upon Drew, he is not only practicing alone but in the dark and is talented. When he reveals to her that he is the second to the QB she is trying to recruit, she’s surprised that his talents are being wasted. Since she is on an assignment to recruit one of his team mates, the two keep running into one another and the tensions keep building.
Will Drew let the family betrayal block the happiness he deserves? Will Brexton follow through with her childhood crush or keep things business and leave Drew where she found him, on the field?
