There’s a new Prince in town. And he thinks he’s my happily ever after. If only I believed in those. Lance Jacobs. Roseboro’s new Most Eligible Bachelor. He’s the stuff fairy tales are made of. Tall, handsome, strong. A dyed in the wool American hero . . .And if my scheming stepmother has anything to do with it, he’ll be married to my stepsister before he can tap out S-O-S.But he only has eyes for … he can tap out S-O-S.
But he only has eyes for me.
And though my attention is tied up in my new bakery, I know he wants me.
I’ll admit that he makes my heart race, my body pulse, and my mind think of things that are definitely not as sweet as my famous cupcakes.
I can’t help but think Lance would make a great Mr. Right . . . Now.
I don’t trust him to be more than that.
Don’t trust any man after having my heart broken one too many times.
Even if he does make me want to break all my rules.
Makes me want to take a chance.
To believe again.
Could he finally be my happily ever after?
From USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post Bestselling Author Lauren Landish comes Happily Never After, a new modern adult Cinderella retelling. Prepare for laugh out loud moments, twists you’ll never see coming, and swoon-worthy alphaness.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
This book got in my head and heart and I fell in love from the beginning. Charlotte has been a favorite character from the beginning of this series. Her fiery spirit and tell it like it is personality drew me to her in book 1 and 2. Now Charlotte has opened her own business and is working her sweet buns off and no time for a man in her life except the broody body guards that are on her detail. Then comes Lance, hot, handsome, Navy Seal. He immediately captures her heart and soul and everything else in her body.
This is book 3 and the final in this series. You don’t have to read the other as this gives you the back story so you aren’t lost but trust me you want to read all of them as well as listen to the audios that are out. OH MY GOODNESS these are so good. There are billionaires with lots of heart, a hitman that loves his woman, and now we have the hot Navy Seal that steals the show. Lance and Charlotte are my favorite couple because of their personalities. I love the build up these two have and the patience Lance has for Charlotte. We still have all the danger from Mr. Blackwell as well as lots of surprises as to who is on his payroll and under his control to do his evil biding. There are so many things that will keep you guessing which is another thing I love about this book. You don’t know who to trust and who to fear. I could go on and on about how much I love this book and this series but I won’t give you anymore tidbits to ruin it for you. This is now officially my all time favorite series.
I received a early copy to read and review and give my honest opinion. It’s fantastic and I highly recommend it.
Happily Never After by Lauren Landish is book Three in the Dirty Fairy Tales Series. This is the story of Charlotte Dunn and Lance Jacobs.
Lance is a retired SEAL who comes home to help his family’s business. Charlotte Dunn is a beautiful redhead who is working hard to make her new bakery “Cake Culture” a success. She doesn’t need a relationship or her stepmom upsetting all she’s worked hard for.
Lance meets Charlotte at this event and he’s immediately smitten by her, even though his mom and her stepmom are trying to set him up with her nasty stepsister Sabrina.
The story is amazing! Lance is one hot alpha SEAL while Charlotte is such a sassy sweet baker. The chemistry between them is sensational. The sparks flare high and there is also danger that will leave you on the edge of your seat with twist that you didn’t see coming. Fabulous and brilliant read!!!
My Rating: 4.5 stars *******
Ms Landish has done it again!
This book had lots of twists and turns and lots of steam.
A great story. The romance is perfect, the drama and suspense are brilliant.
Can’t wait for the next one
I received an author’s copy and have left an honest review
This was such a great read! I love being able to pick up one of Lauren’s books and just fall all the way into the story. Characters were flawlessly written and everything within the story was wonderful!

I found this book very entertaining. The main characters are children of Society that really want no part of it, but have to due to their misguided or craptastic families. The bakery is where much of the book it set and it is a happy place. There is some drama and mystery as they deal with the Blackwell stuff, which reaches its conclusion. We also have some of the characters from the previous two books. Shootings and explosions eventually bring satisfying conclusions.
Landish manages to keep things familiar yet unique. Hints of the past find a way to steam up the future. Subtle has never been Lauren Landish’ strong suit. Sensuality is the name of the game and Happily Never After is spicy proof of that. However, Charlotte and Lance are more than just a dirty fairy tale. With moments of humor and heart, a wonderful story emerges. Landish proves that sexy can be sweet and delicious, if you do it right.
Another hit by this author and she wraps up the story that centres around a town Rosbero and the three best friends who live out modern day fairy tales. We first had Mia who gets her prince, Thomas, then Izzy with hers, Gabe and finally, last but not least, Charlotte who finds her Prince Charming in Lance.
It’s hard for me to say which is my favorite as they were all amazing and this one is the icing on the cake, or the dirty frosting on a cupcake…yummy. Lance and Charlotte hit it out of the ballpark and the steamy innuendos had me chuckling out loud, the steamy scenes had me drinking ice water too cool me off, and near the ending had me grabbing for tissues for a loss to all of them, but especially Charlotte.
I LOVED these two, the way they stuck together, not allowing her stepmom or stepsister interfere and how Lance dons his knight in shining armour to be by her side. I LOVED how he stuck up for himself and her and didn’t allow anything to come between them. I LOVED how there was little to no drama between them and when there was, it was dealt with swiftly and didn’t go on and on and on…refreshing. I LOVED the suspense with Blackwell and the twists and turns, betrayals and the ending to it all. I LOVED everything about this story and this series, all the characters, the steamy sensual scenes, the suspense, and how all three stories interconnected, flowing beautifully from page one that started months ago, to the ending with all three strong beautiful women finding their Princes and their own HEA. Only thing I was disappointed in was….it ended and I want MORE !!
*I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
This is the third book in this “Dirty fairy tales” series, and in my opinion is the best one to date. Lance is an ex Seal who is returning to his hometown, which makes him the most eligible bachelor. His mother and the woman in town are busy planning his life, when he just wants to have a quiet life. Charlotte has just opened her new bakery and is working hard to make it a success, and she does not want any distractions, and that includes Lance. This is a well written modern day fairytale, which has twists, emotion, and is a humorous story, which had me captivated throughout this addictive page turner.
I just loved this series and all the characters in it but this story centers around Charlotte a baker who is best friends with Mia and Izzy. Mia and Izzy are part of Thomas Goldstone’s group and Charlotte comes under that umbrella too.
Lance is home from the service because he dad needed him in his company but one look at Charlotte and her cupcakes Lance was done for.
I love how the author wove all the characters to make a great final book but the family feeling you get made all the stories just perfect!
A hot, sexy, funny, suspenseful Cinderellaish love story. I could not put this book down til the end. Lance is an ex Navy Seal Commander, he meets Charlotte the Bakery owner and her diva step sister at the same time, but has an immediate attraction to Charlotte, although their mothers had a different plan. True love always wins, but not without a few roadblocks. You have to read this book!!!

Happily Never After is book three in the Dirty Fairy Tales series and a great conclusion to the series. Lance, a former Navy Seal is back in Roseboro to help with the family business and Charlotte owns her own bakery. From the moment they see each other sparks fly and they have an instant connection. Loved this modern Cinderella story filled with humor, family drama, the evil Blackwell and the beautiful epilogue that pulled everything together.
Another amazing read that had me glued too my kindle. I absolutely loved Lance and Charlotte together. This book had a twist that I didn’t see coming. Amazing story with amazing characters that will have you hooked.
Get a box of tissues, a tub of your favorite ice cream, and hang on for the ride!
Lance Jacobs. Ex-Navy SEAL and Roseboro’s new Most Eligible Bachelor. Charlotte Dunn, baker, friend to Thomas Goldstone’s fiancé, Mia Karakova.
Lance was called home to take over his family’s business, but his heart was not in it. Charlotte, on the other hand, had to contend with running a bakery and battling with a scheming stepmother whose mission in life is to make her life hell.
This is the third installment to Lauren Landish’s Dirty Fairy Tales series, and, though I am torn, I have to say that it is by far the best of the three.
In Beauty and the Billionaire, I fell in love with Thomas’ eccentricities (if you can call it that), and Mia’s geeky quirkiness. The story, in itself, was light, although the lot definitely was not.
In Not so Prince Charming, I cried for Izzy and Gabe. I loved how Lauren Landish led us through the struggles these two souls had to go through, how Izzy had to claw her way out of the despair that her life had become. I loved how Gabe, fallen angel that he was, found his redemption in the end.
In Happily Never After… Wow. Just, wow. Every page, every plot twist, felt like riding a roller-coaster without a seat-belt on, and you have to hang on for dear life. I laughed, I blushed, I wanted to climb into the book and slap Charlotte’s stepmom and stepsister to kingdom-come for their attitude. My heart broke for Gabe again. I wanted…I wanted… and Trixie?! Ugly. Cry.
Dear reader, hang on for dear life. Get to know Lance and Charlotte. Get to know the people of Roseboro. You won’t regret it.
Lastly. I think, no, I believe, that the Dirty Fairy Tales should not be turned into an audiobook. It should be turned into a TV series!

Book three in the Dirty Fairy Tales series a well written story gives more of Mia and Thomas, Izzy and Gabe, and is mainly Charlotte Dunn and ex-seal Lance Jacobs’ story. I enjoyed reading this book and will be looking for more in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This starts out as a seemingly sweet and innocuous romance following a “Cinderella” like theme with Charlotte as the downtrodden Cinderella. It quickly grows into something more with the addition of alpha hero Lance.
I loved the way Lance took control of the situation, but not in an overbearing way. It helped that he wasn’t a bonehead and was tactically on the ball. A true rescuer and hero with both his family issues and with his love for Charlotte.
In the midst of this sweet and sexy contemporary romance, the author was able to create another storyline that was sinister and compelling.
Fast paced, well written, and totally enjoyable!

This was a great book to read with well developed characters and the storyline flowed with enough chemistry to keep me entertained.

Basically a retelling of Cinderella with some hot steamy twists. However both the step mother & her father are grooming her stepsister for a dreamy financial marriage. However the groom in mind is after none of this & wants Cinderella after finding a broken bracelet.
Some characters seem to have been in previous books & while part of their history is mentioned I prefer to follow on. There’s a villain who finally seems to be get his just desserts.
Overall a predictable retelling of an old tale.

A thrilling end to dirty fairy tale series
Lauren Landish does a wonderful job in Happily Never After, an exceptional and thrilling conclusion to the Dirty Fairy Tale series.
I think this is my favorite from the trio of books as it really made me laugh and kept me on the edge of my seat when the plot really got hairy. I fell in love with ex-sexy SEAL, Lance Jacobs, as Prince Charming. He really had a heart of gold, determined to make Charlotte believe and trust in him. I had to laugh over the Jedi mind meld he did with Charlotte, the girl didn’t have a chance.
And poor Charlotte is a wonderful anti-Cinderella with her snarky and quick wit. Her story is complete with snobby step-mother and step-sister who were quite selfish and mean. The villain, Blackwell, is a constant in the three stories and is one character that played the evil interest to the hilt. I never saw the twist at the end, and though saddened for Charlotte, I was okay with how it ended. It’s a wonderful romantic comedy with lots of humor, suspense, and drama.
I absolutely devoured this book!! It was the perfect balance of tons of steam and lots of humor. I couldn’t put this down once I started and loved every second of it!
