Carol has made some big moves since her divorce from Wallace. She’s become a nurse, runs the Strong’s Family Clinic, and now, she’s ready for love. Baxter, her date to Wallace’s reception, is a handsome, rich, retired Airman but something is not there. Carol wants a love to call her own, but she refuses to settle just for the sake of having a man. So, while her friends are left to wonder about … Baxter and her, she’s putting more time into talks with Carlotta (her only daughter), and her best friend Isha.
She’s beautiful, seemingly smart, and has such a wonderful sense of humor. Why would he allow her to leave his presence, without even getting her number? Ivan Panzer, is definitely out of his mind, and he’s been out of the dating game too long. He’s made up his mind, to get to the same grocery store until he meets her there again. However, he has asked God if it is His will, to bring her back into his life.
Will everything he ever wanted come walking through his door or will Carol wait on God to send the man she feels is for her? Or will she selfishly settle for Baxter Morgan in hope that her love for him will grow? And, will Ivan miss out on the best thing he could have had?

The characters are wonderful, the story line is clean, wholesome and has some biblical references. You can’t go wrong with any books from Danyelle Scroogins.

Grace realized is the third installment in the Power Series Rebirth series. Each one of these stories has had a powerful message but this message on Grace Realized has been the best. This story is about Ivan and Carol and how they have chose to wait on God to send their helpmate instead of pursuing who their friends think they should date. God will send you what you need if you just have faith and wait on him. This story and message just brought joy to my heart and I really enjoyed it a lot.

Once again author Danyelle Scroggins has written a storyline that shows when you just wait on God, focus on his Word and not trying to find love in all the wrong places. God will bring your Boaz that he has for you and treat you like the Queen that you are.
Carol was in a marriage where she and her husband were not as compatible as they should be, he cheated on Carol and then left her for another woman and married the other woman, after Carol and his divorce.
As Carol grew stronger in her relationship with God and learned to love herself she was able to move on. She meets Baxter at her ex-husband wedding and they start dating, but Carol felt something was not right. Was it Baxter’s age, wealth and too good to be true personality?
Carol’s daughter Carlotta has a friend name Isha. Isha’s father has been through the mill with her mother, cheating on him always, working and not have enough time to be a mother to Isha. So when her father saw a woman he was attracted to in the grocery store but he didn’t think to get her name or number before she walked away.
I love how the characters come alive in my mind and imagine how they are looking, their emotions, and the places that they go.
This was a page turner especially to see just how things worked out with, Carol, Baxter and Isha’s father love life. I highly recommend this book to read and also to read the other books in the series.

Book 3 in the series. Carol and Baxter are good friends, but everyone else in their life wants them to be more than friends. Will they stay together out of fear, or allow God to order their steps in the right direction?
This book just might be my favorite, because the main characters are over 40, and there needs to be more books for those of us in that age group. As always, you can feel the spirit of God throughout the story, and the characters are well developed. As like the others, the book is told through the eyes of several people, and it’s best to read the books in order (Books 1-5 of the Extravagant Love Series, then books 1 and two of the Power Series Rebirth) because characters from the other books will appear. This has just been such a well done series.

Book three in the The Power Series Rebirth series a story I enjoyed reading. A short quick story to read. This is Carol and Ivan’s story and everything they go through, and with their faith in God how they get their happy ending.
