1:Hate IT! Didn’t finish; usually only given if/when some contents truly objectionable (i.e. main characters does something awful & gets away w/it!)
2:Don’t like IT! Rating means I felt the writing was poor, editing was bad, I don’t care for characters, or book had some major flaw.
3: I like IT, BUT! There are minor issues… Rating means there’s editing issues, needs character development, is too unrealistic, or has issues– I do not consider it an overall bad rating.
4:I like IT a lot. Great, Solid Story w/ few if any inconsistencies or errors. This is a HIGH Rating, & I rarely give OUT a Higher Rating.
5: I LOVE IT! It’s Spectacular, & I’ll read IT Over & Over Again. Few books Receive this rating from me. HowEver, those that DO become Classics.
Four Ranchers’ Bride (Love by Numbers #3) by Nicole Casey – My kindle unlimited subscription is running out again, so I’m trying to finish up books that I’ve started. I thought Jada’s family had slightly bizarre reactions to things. Though if both of my kids had radical paradigm shifts in the same month, it would be a lot at once. Ben is my fav! Happy Reading!
Jada Has Her Hands Full As The New Vet At Break-Ridge Ranch! Hank, Seki, Ace, And Her Old Boyfriend Ben Soon Win Her Heart.
Jada Hartville, twenty-six, needs a change in her life, a fresh start somewhere far away from Las Vegas. She was born in Louisiana to a black mother and a white Canadian-creole father, then moved with her parents and younger sister Sadie to Las Vegas when she was still a teen. Las Vegas had never felt like home to her, but she had made the most of it. She had fallen in love with Ben, who broke her heart when he left town without a word when they were seventeen. Her self-confidence took a big hit. Being mixed had already left her with insecurities, but the abandonment cemented her feelings of not fitting in. After finishing veterinarian school, she returned to the city, finding employment in an animal clinic. The work was boring. Depression had begun to set in before long, and she found herself isolated from her family and even her best friend Sascha. Living in seclusion, she kept her condition to herself so as not to worry anyone. But it was time to pursue something with more purpose. She had always hoped to get a job that helped animals in a more meaningful way, so she secretly began a job search.
Hank Brekker, late twenties, is the CEO of Break-Ridge Ranch, located on the outskirts of Seeley Lake, Montana. Owning and running his own cattle ranch had always been his dream – animals are his first love. The passing of his mother when he was twenty-one, and of his grandparents, left him with the old family property and enough cash to begin making the property a working ranch once again. With recent expansions, his part-time vet is no longer enough. He needs a full-time vet to ensure a healthy heard. Jada Hartville’s passion for animals shines through on her Skype interview, and he makes her an offer the next day. Her looks don’t hurt, either.
Seki Paulson, twenty-eight, can’t stop himself from flirting when he picks up Jada from the airport. He works part-time as a vet on the ranch, so he looks forward to spending time with her on the job. His specialty is in animal husbandry, with only a minor in veterinary sciences, so he sometimes feels in over his head and is glad Hank finally gave in and hired another vet. He works as a ranch hand the remainder of the time, so he lives on the ranch. He is Kootenai, a Native American. He was born on Flathead Indian Reservation, not far away. His father died when he was young, but he remains close with his mother.
Ace Holsum is the farm manager on Break-Ridge Ranch. After studying agriculture and biology in college, he got work at another ranch before being hired by Hank. He is the quiet man of the bunch, often referred to as the philosopher. He, too, is drawn to Jada upon her arrival on the ranch.
Ben Ares, roughly twenty-six, was lucky when Hank him hired back when the ranch was just getting operational. After leaving Las Vegas in a big hurry at seventeen, his car only brought him as far as Montana. He found work as a mechanic nearby and barely made ends meet for the first three years, but when the shop closed he would have been in real trouble if it weren’t for Hank. The ranch became his home, and Hank, Seki, and Ace became like family. It is surreal when Jada appears out of the blue, stepping back into his life. He regrets leaving her the way he did, but it had been necessary. He hopes that they can put the past behind them, but that remains doubtful.
Jada finds herself loving her job and Break-Ridge Ranch. The four handsome men are an added bonus. They all appear interested in her, which makes her a little nervous. Hank loves to take charge of things and is sometimes a little intense. Seki understands Jada. Ace is thoughtful and sensitive. And Ben has matured into a slightly calmer version of himself, although he is still spontaneous, an adrenaline junkie, and often too blunt. She worries things are about to get complicated, but then she learns that they sometimes share a woman. Since learning how happy her friend Sascha is with three men, she wonders what it might be like. The group begins to explore their new dynamics, but problems on the horizon threaten to tear them apart. Their story eventually gets a happy ending.
Jada has her hands full as the new vet at Break-Ridge Ranch. Hank, Seki, Ace, and her old boyfriend Ben soon win her heart. This is an easy read. Their story is decently written, though there are some errors missed in editing. The plot is somewhat simple. The complicated part is managing so many major characters. The characters are nicely developed given the length. Ace’s character is lacking, but it seems appropriate due to his quiet nature. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Jada, Hank, Seki, Ace, and Ben. I rate this book 3.5 stars.

A fresh start and tons of love
Four Ranchers’ Bride: A Reverse Harem Romance (Love by Numbers Book 3) by Nicole Casey is a well written reverse harem romance. While a quick read, it’s full of these characters in such a way that the reader really gets to know them. Each of these characters endeared themselves to me and I found each of the men very intriguing! Jada, of course, becomes smitten with each of them including Ben a love from her past.
Overall, Jada, Ben, Ash, Seki and Ash steam this book up throughout, develop connections that lead to love, family and a wonderful HEA.
I am enjoying this series and how the stories somewhat interconnect because of the women characters!
This time we also have a connection from a past relationship and I do so enjoy how our leading lady gets together with our leading men!
Totally enjoyable with heat, heart and fun!
Jada leaves Vegas to go be a vet on a ranch in Montana. There she meets Hank, Seki, Ace and surprisingly Ben, her first love. They all get together individually and then as a group. The sex is hot and they are all getting along. Then Jada ends up pregnant and just then her sister Sadie disappears. I wasn’t happy with how the ending was written. Seemed like Nicole was in a hurry to just finish the book and be done. Hank or Ben should’ve legally married her to protect her and Bash. Then they could’ve had a private commitment ceremony all together. And most importantly, What the hell happened to Sadie? A year later and not even addressed.
This was a delightful story to read. The characters were so believable it is like these are people that you already know. The story is fun to follow along too.
Jada is a vet in Vegas and can’t stand the sweltering heat any longer and dealing with pampered pets is not why she became a vet. She applies and gets a job working on a ranch in Montana, which is great for her. Gets her out of the heat and getting to really use her knowledge on animals that need her. What she doesn’t expect is to find her first boyfriend there as a ranch hand.
There’s Hank, Ace, Seki and Ben. Ben is the one who left her heartbroken at seventeen when he just disappeared. But these four men who run the ranch are all attracted to Jada and have shared in the past. They just don’t know how to let her know that it is okay for her to be attracted to each of them without having to choose.

Jada a vet. Loves animal so what better place for her to work but on a ranch. Its a change of scenery that she really needed in life. You have the 4 different men. All having something different to offer of themselves to one woman. What a lucky woman. She should never be bored. This was an entertaining book of being a vet on a ranch with 4 gorgeous men. Starting to love all the men. How do you think that is going to work out? Every man had something different to offer Jada. Would she accept the differences and stick around or would she leave? You would have to read the book? You will not be disappointed in this story. Great Job Again Nicole!! Lets see if Jada finds the love of all her men and stay.

First I love this story because I’m a fan of Nicole Casey and second is because there is a story. It’s not just about sexy times with for ranchers. There is each persons background and feelings. Yes there is some sexy time (; but that just adds to the story and isn’t they whole story.

Moving out of the desert and into the sizzling fire!!!
Who knew that moving from Vegas to Montana would make you hotter than standing in the middle of the desert!!! Well that is what happens to Jade at least. She is a vet who has had enough of Vegas and decides to make a change. That results in her taking a job on the Break-Ridge Ranch in Montana as the ranch vet. On the ranch she meets Hank, Seki, Ace and Ben. Each man is different in a lot of ways but they all take one look at Jade and hope that she will stay and make the ranch her home………….and with them.
Four Ranchers’ Bride is a very nice story with some sizzling chemistry between the characters. The story-line will keep you engaged and reading and the characters are all very intriguing as you get to know them. There is not a lot of depth, as this is a short story, but there is enough which adds to the story-line. I enjoyed reading Four Rancher’s Bride and would recommend it to others that like RH. Now it is one to the next in this series, they just keep getting more interesting as the number increases.

This is a sweet story of not only finding love but also finding out who you are and what makes you happy.
Jada is looking for more than what she can find in Las Vegas, accepts a job on a ranch where she runs into an ex-boyfriend. Ben ran away from his childhood home to find that he is more than what he was told. Hank, Seki and Ace also work on the ranch over time have found where they need to be, now are just looking for the right person to love.
With each turn of the page it is harder to put the book down as we join the characters on the journey to find their happiness in what the do and who they are with.

These amazing characters with great backgrounds stories and the mix of humor, sadnes, hot scenes, passion, pain, trust, emotional ups and downs makes this a wonderful story. In this book we meet Jade Harville, Hank Brekker, Seki Paulson, Ace Holsum, and Ben Ares. Jade is sick of Las Vegas and wants a change. She is a licensed vet and has been scouring the country to find a new job. That is when she find the listing for Break-Ridge Ranch she just has to try for it. Though she wanted a change she wonders if Montana will really be the right fit for her. Hank grew up with very little but everything he has he got from family. When he decided cattle ranching is what he wanted he went about making that happen. Now he needs a full time vet and he just hopes Jade is the right fit. One look and he is hoping she is the right fit for a whole lot more. Seki has been part time vet and part time ranch hand. When he is sent to get Jade since Hank is burred in paperwork he can’t believe his eyes. She is beautiful and he hopes that ranch life doesn’t scare her off. Ace is the quite on of the bunch and when he looks at Jade he can’t help but wonder even though he is on the quite side would she still see him. Last there is Ben the high school sweetheart who just up and left her one day. He never had the courage to tell her what was going on with his life and was worried if he saw her again he would never be able to leave. Will these 4 make the ranch more than just a place to work but a true home or will other things make sure that never happens?
This is an amazing hot story. it does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don’t want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
