Holy book hangover!! I knew from the previous book that going into this one I would be wrecked but I just didn’t anticipate how accurate or how hard I was shook. The author is an evil genius who had my heart in palpitations the whole book and me screaming at my kindle one second and hugging it the next, but omg it was so good. I never thought I’d say this but this book was so well written that I never thought I’d enjoy being destroyed just to be put back together again. There were so many twists and turns I never saw coming and some I did but I wasn’t prepared for Gray to ruin me for all others. I know this is a vague review but trust me you do NOT want anyone to spoil it because you will love every second of reading it. Bravo to the author because she has a way with words and story telling that are so unique and I love to devour them.
If I tell you that you aren’t ready, will you believe me?
A rare book in a sea of romance stories. Forbidden Fate was remarkable. Strongly written and just a book that leaves you utterly speechless.
You don’t want to miss this one.
Mary Catherine Gebhard grabs your heart and she won’t let go. You will fall in love even with the massive bumps in the road. And in the end, you want more. I’m at a loss for words. They usually come to me easily, but one way or another I’m unable to find them to explain this masterpiece.
It’s undoubtedly brilliant. Story and Gray’s love story continues and it’s not one for the faint of heart. It’s destructive but filled with love at the same time. Complex, but easy when you zoom out. Characters that trouble the relationship even further and blurry the lines between what is fate and what isn’t.
Story captured my heart even further. Her life is truly a rollercoaster and it had me on the edge of my seat. Heartbreak, pain and deception, it is all part of Story’s life even when she didn’t want it. My heart hurt for the life she lived. How she got tangled into the life of the wealthy Crowne Point royalties. And Gray… my baby. He made mistakes. They both did. But still, I swooned when his words were kind, when his loyalty shined through and when I wanted to strangle him.
Yes, this book had me ready to kill…every single character. I was furious with certain chapters. Heartbroken with others and in pure agony with the rest of the book. But still, Forbidden Fate toped all books I read this year. A top read of 2020.
Mary Catherine Gebhard is a rare author. Her writing skill is something that allowed me to experience this book so intensely. Her words are poetic, strong and created this book that I can’t forget. I was submerged into the storyline of Gray and Story and that thanks to the brilliant author.
Forbidden Fate, top read of 2020 and it deserves that crown.
