Who’s hungry? EVERYONE. Who has time to cook? NO ONE.Dig out the slow cooker. Add a second and a third if you wish. Fill one with main-dish fixins and the others with go-alongs. Skyhorse Publishing, along with our Good Books and Arcade imprints, is proud to publish a broad range of cookbooks, including books on juicing, grilling, baking, frying, home brewing and winemaking, slow cookers, and cast iron cooking. We’ve been successful with books on gluten-free cooking, vegetarian and vegan cooking, paleo, raw foods, and more. Our list includes French cooking, Swedish cooking, Austrian and German cooking, Cajun cooking, as well as books on jerky, canning and preserving, peanut butter, meatballs, oil and vinegar, bone broth, and more. While not every title we publish becomes a New York Times bestseller or a national bestseller, we are committed to books on subjects that are sometimes overlooked and to authors whose work might not otherwise find a home.

The problem with this cookbook is that most recipes require canned goods, such as cream of mushroom soup. I tried a few recipes, then donated the book to a charity. Maybe someone else is more interested in quick than healthy.
I own, I read it, I use it. This is a must for anyone who has a slow cooker and doesn’t have a clue what to do with it. Read, Cook, Enjoy!
I was disappointed in this book. Number one this book was not written by Phyllis Goode. She only compiled the recipes in the collection.
A lot of great ideas. What a wonderful way to cook.

This book has some really great recipes that aren’t too complicated or require ingredients that you need to run to a grocery store to get.
Great cookbook and one of my favorites that I have used to make many delicious meals.
don’t know what I would do without it!!!
Very basic slow cooker book, but recipes are solid standards. Good starter version for people new to slow cooker cooking.
Her books are the only slow cooker cookbooks (that I’ve see) that actually recommend what size crockpot to use. They are good recipes, easy to moderate to prepare.
