In this fourth installment of the Jesse McDermitt series, Jesse faces an antagonist unlike any other. A friend’s son, who was dishonorably discharged from the Corps, is suffering from post-traumatic stress. With Jesse’s help he learns to cope with his demons and gets his discharge overturned, so that he can once again serve the country he loves.
Meanwhile, another foe is out to get Jesse, … Jesse, Deuce, and anyone else that gets in the way, including a highly placed government official. When it’s learned the foe is one of their own, all hell breaks loose around the Florida Keys.

If you served in the military and you like fishing, scuba and action, you will enjoy Wayne Stinnett’s “Jesse McDemitt “ series. You will learn quite a bit about boat, living in the “”Key” and Carribian.
Enjoyed the action and characters.
I highly recommend the whole Fallen series
Liked the book continuing the series
i thought the book was very good, you were comfordable with the characters, and you got a good feeling about them. You sort of knew what was coming next but you wern’t sure if they could pull it off. very enjoyable reading.
Good read, enjoyed it a lot
Boring
Good read on a slow day
Love Wayne Stinnett books! Always good reads.
It kept me engaged, couldn’t wait for next chance to read some more.
liked all books in series
Very entertaining read.
This was a boring book, so I didn’t read the entire thing, but did read over half of it and couldn’t read anymore.
Another good read in the “Fallen Series” Fast paced and hard to put down. Spins his stories with very little extra off story filler.
While not the best writing in the world, the storyline kept me intrigued. I found myself really enjoying the characters and wanting to know more about them.
#4 of a (currently) 12 book series.- plus 4 book spin off..great series of identifiable characters battling evil with enough authenticity to hook you. Pure escapist entertainment. Quickly burned thru all 12, wishing for more. Highly recommend reading in order as characters and settings evolve across titles.
adventure
A great read. It kept me at the edge of my couch.
Good action pace- read it in 2 settings- would have finished cover-to-cover in one setting but had time commitment. Looking forward to reading more of his series, especially the first book of series.
Jumped into middle of series and author does a good job of getting up to speed without going on needlessly. Good plot twists and enough to keep my interest. Will look for next in series.
