In this fourth installment of the Jesse McDermitt series, Jesse faces an antagonist unlike any other. A friend’s son, who was dishonorably discharged from the Corps, is suffering from post-traumatic stress. With Jesse’s help he learns to cope with his demons and gets his discharge overturned, so that he can once again serve the country he loves.
Meanwhile, another foe is out to get Jesse, … Jesse, Deuce, and anyone else that gets in the way, including a highly placed government official. When it’s learned the foe is one of their own, all hell breaks loose around the Florida Keys.

Terrific book set in the Florida Keys. Jesse McDermitt is the main character and excellent as a retired Force Recon Marine. Reminds me of the Travis McGee series of John D. MacDonald. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this series. Read in order if possible starting with Fallen Out.
Cannot recommend
I have read every book by Wayne Stinnett! Each book has an incredible storyline in itself. Each Novel can be read as a stand-alone or in order from the first in the series to the 17th. If you enjoy tropical settings, boat adventures, crime fighting and camaraderie, you will love this series!
Great book!!
Starting to get redundant.
well written. excellent plot
I found the characters to be believable and interesting. The plot had some pretty good twists to it.
I love Wayne Stinnett’s books…can’t stop reading one after the other…Jesse McDermitt series…the best!

Love this book. The entire series is great.
So slow…I realized I was half way through the book and pretty much nothing had happened yet.
I really enjoyed the accurate depiction of the character and nature of the Keys in this book and the series. A ripping action packed read.
Could hardly put it down!
Love Jesse!!!!!
