Chloe Becket is only interested in one thing, leaving her mark upon the world. She takes a position working for the infamous and infuriating Nick Meryton. He’s charming, controlling, a world travelling, pretty boy billionaire. Crazy rich and famous with amber eyes that would melt any woman on the spot, what Nick wants, Nick gets! But someone else is also eyeing Chloe. When he sees his brother … else is also eyeing Chloe.
When he sees his brother making a move on her at the company gala, he arrogantly claims her as his fiance.
Now, he’s fake engaged to his sassy work enemy.
Chloe’s not sure how she ended up half-naked in a broken down elevator with her boss, or why she’s agreed to play the game with her arch enemy.
She’s smarter than that. She graduated from Princeton for pete’s sake!
All she knows that her heart beats fast and her blood sings around him.
The more time she spends with him, the more she realizes it’s not just an attraction to his rippled chest, but an attraction to his heart, and respect for his integrity.
This love terrifies her more than anything, so she runs away, back home.
Nick comes looking for her, in the middle of a snowstorm ready to get her back or let her go.
What if love doesn’t have to be a fight or trap at all? What if love is what sets you free?.

I rate this book 4.5 stars.
This book was hot and steamy. Chloe is a go-getter and is strong, sassy and knows what she wants. Nick is the typical alpha who gets what he wants, when he wants, even if he doesn’t know why he wants it. Their chemistry together is off-the-charts sizzling steamy hot enough to melt your panties off. What I especially love is their banter (or their fights) as it makes me giggle at the things they say. This romance was entertaining and enjoyable to read.

Wow L.A. has done it again with the hot exciting enemies to lover office romance. Both main characters are stubborn & sassy. After writing a story about Nick and exposing his ways Chole finds herself at her new job at the magazine he just happens to own. Talk about a hot mess. I just love this author and how she writes the storyline never disappoints and the character in this story are strong and very enjoyable with plenty of humor, banter, angst and lots of heat. Great job!!!

Chloe is a writer for Worldly magazine and wants to write about other places that they haven’t written about yet. Nick is the owner and editor of Worldly magazine and he is upset somewhat with Chloe because of an article she wrote about him at her old job. So when they first meet sparks fly as they spar between themselves in front of her supervisor Rachel. They each are fighting their attraction for one another. Then one evening when they are both working late they get stuck in the elevator together and Chloe starts having a panic attack and Nick tries to distract her. Things heat up between them but they get rescued and go their separate ways. When they are at the Meryton Gala Chloe ends up being in the middle of a sparring match between Nick and his brother that leads Nick into announcing that they are engaged. Will this fake engagement turn into something more?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn’t put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

When couples talk about how they met, you usually expect a soapy story with bells and all, wonder what Chloe and Nick would tell the grandkids, although I think there first meeting is among the best out there. Sparks flew even before they met.
Brilliant story line and Lief certainly sparked the book up
She has a new boss and when they get trapped in a lift, it gets steamy but he then becomes a jerk for several week. At a party his brother makes passes at her. He hates this so he tell his brother they are engaged. He wants her to play, she is not happy about it but she does. How is this going to end? Can it work as a pretence? Can it ever become more? See how they will get on

Enemy Fiancé Billionaire is an enemies to lovers story about Chloe and Nick. Nick owns the magazine that Chloe works for and makes no bones about calling him out on his BS. Nick and Chloe are always bickering and it will have you laughing in some moments. Sparks begin to fly when they get stuck in an elevator together and after the gala they end up in a fake engagement to help with Nick’s reputation. As they spend more time together they begin to like each other and there is no boring moments as their real feelings become involved.
I enjoyed the characters in this book and the they were developed well. I liked that they were believable and relatable. This book will keep you entertained from start to finish. I recommend this book to anyone that likes a book with drama, humor, enemies to lovers story, and a FMC that goes toe to toe with her man.

Oh, this was cute with witty banter and great attraction amongst the main characters. Loved how Chloe and Nick play off of each other. This was fun, and exposed each of the main characters to really examine their feelings for one another. I enjoyed how each opened up and became comfortable as friends unexpectedly and respected the other for their work and dedication. A cute ending with the, both of them admitting what they really wanted…home.

This was an opposites attract insta-lust office romance.
Chloe and Nick were complete opposites but they had an instant attraction. This was complicated by the fact that Nick was her boss and Chloe had just Published a tell all articles on Nick.
It’s only when they make up a fake engagement that things start to heat up.
There were no surprises and it was a pretty standard plot. But they still got their HEA and it was a sweet enjoyable read.

This story was good. It was engaging, intriguing, and a fake engagement. I was really enjoying this story until I had guess the conflict. It wasn’t bad but it all could’ve been avoided. The herione Chloe is beautiful, smart, funny, and dedicated. She’s a journalist. She is a hard worker and independent. She is sassy at times and sweet. I love her character. I understand her completely. Nick is a charmer. He is the owner of a magazine company. He is playboy, smart, funny and sexy. He always busy and works hard. I would say he did redeem himself at the end. The writing was really good. Every word flows throughout the book flawlessly. My rating is based of unnecessary drama. Great work again L.A. Pepper!

LA Pepper has done it again. She has another hit with Enemies Fiance Billionaire. I really enjoyed reading this book, I did not want to put it down. The characters, Chloe and Nick were very likeable There are also a few other strong characters in the book one of which is her boss Rachel. Nick and Rachel own a travel magazine called Worldly and Chloe is a writer for it. The theme being enemies to lovers fake fiance office romance says it all so I don’t have much to add.to that it is self explanatory.

Even when you HATE someone or can’t stand them Attraction can over ride all common sense!!! Pretty Straight forward Enemy to Love story.
Nick and Chloé are perfect together! I had such good laughs at their antics that it nearly brought a stomach ache on me. I like the take no bull left behinds attitude from Chloé. Nick just have to adjust to her!

This book is a quick but great read. The main characters are Chloe Beckett and Nicholas “Nick” Meryton. Nick owns the magazine that Chloe works for. They are both very outspoken; not afraid to speak their minds. In the beginning they have a love/hate relationship. Then things get flipped around with a single comment that was taken wrong. I truly enjoyed the way they interact with each other. I could be good friends with Chloe. Absolutely loved her attitude. The ending was great!

This is the story of Chloe a magazine writer and Nick the owner of the magazine. These two love to go back and forth bickering and poking at each other. Nick makes a proposal to Chloe that they have a fake engagement to get what each other wants. This book will have you laughing through out the whole book.
I really enjoyed reading Enemy Fiancé Billionaire; An Enemies to Lovers Fake Fiancé Office Romance by L.A. Pepper because it was a very steamy and heated story about Nick and Chloe. To say they clashed and didn’t like each other when they first met is an understatement. It was only when they were put in a situation that threw Chloe into a panic attack that things shifted between them. Then at a party, an arrangement was made for the the both of them. It was supposed to be a fake engagement, but as time went on, those lines became blurred for the both of them. Real feelings were thrown into the mix of their relationship. I loved this story. Love the nickname that Nick calls Chloe. It is very sweet. I would highly recommend reading this heated enemies to lovers story. It was wonderful!!! Love the hot cover too!!!

How to Pretend to Love Your Enemy
Nick is a smooth operator! He’s so charismatic, handsome & rich. It’s no wonder Chloe was steered into playing her role as fake fiancee. Having to pretend to love your enemy started as awkward but with Nick’s guidance, loving words & touches, romantic outings & his doting on her, the pretending is getting too close to being a very real relationship.
Truly a romantic novel that pulls you into their story. Leaving you with so many laughs & chuckles on how Nick makes it so easy to win her over, watching how she has to bury the “”he’s the enemy” attitude towards him & how she’s basically swept off her feet. Will she fall for his moves & realize at the end of this charade he’ll break her heart when this pretend engagement ends? This story will linger within you for days after you’ve read it. I highly recommend this novel as it’s a terrific enjoyable novel.
