From the Author
Educating Callie is book one in a series that will eventually come full circle once complete. Although it could be read as such, it is NOT a stand-alone novel. While there is no cliff hanger ending, the character’s stories are not over and some questions may be left unanswered to be addressed in future books in the series.

This book! Where to start? Trying to figure out who the killer was drove me mad! I was pretty sure I’d figured it out and then , damn it, there’s a curveball thrown and I’m left questioning my choice.
Fab roller-coaster of a tale, with realistic characters, great dialogue and intriguing twists and turns.
A thoroughly enjoyable read. Can’t wait to read book 2!
Oh, and yeah, I did figure out who the killer was but couldn’t be sure until the author finally let us see him!
What a fantastic story. I was not quite sure what I was getting into when I started this book but let me tell you that I was hooked from the beginning. The suspense, drama and twists and turns had me continuously guessing. Callie is a character that is a true fighter and I found myself in awe of her strength and perseverance. All of the characters were addicting and personable. If you want to read a hell of a story this is one you definitely do not want to miss.
Amazing!!!
I’m kicking myself that Educating Callie has been sitting on my kindle just waiting to be read all this time because it was one of those phenomenal can’t put down reads full of suspense, intrigue and a close knit group of friends I instantly wanted to join.
You know there’s always one guy in a book you want to throat chop. Usually it’s the antagonist. And while this book had a great baddie … seriously, I didn’t guess who it was until the reveal. But this time around it was Jase. Oh, that guy! It’s the mark of an amazing writer who can make me hate the man for most of the book, and be angry at Callie for not kicking him where it hurt for all his idiotic actions. But then something miraculous happened, the author made me feel for this guy. Callie, for all that happened to her, had an amazingly large capacity for forgiveness and it’s what warmed me to her. I wouldn’t make her decisions with some of the people in her life, but I got it. She was a fighter and a sweetheart.
“This man had come into my life at the worst possible time, but it felt right. Who’s to say how long you should go between relationships, who decides whether it’s too soon?”
This book was a glorious read. And I don’t usually delve into the suspenseful often. It’s not romance, but it does have a gorgeous love story woven between the pages of this who-done-it tale. And one you don’t want to miss.
I loved being in this little town and can’t wait for more.
“Woman, let me love you.”
So this book is centered on a girl with my name…creepy, right? I kinda thought so. This girl has everything right down to my personality! (Psst, I’m even a twin…plot twist, I ate my twin in utero, so we don’t have that in common, phew!!)…Anyway, Callie (Or CeeCee, Calindra, Cee, Moonbeam, Angel, Love, or the many many names she goes by in this book), is the fun-loving barwench at a local pub called the Irish Rover owned by her friend Mick. You’ll meet him. She is surrounded by family and friends, and of course her boyfriend, Jase. Not to beg too many spoilers, but she’s known by everyone and everyone loves her. Only there’s someone out there who might love her a little too much. (YIKES!) Yeah, THAT someone. The serial killer creepster nobody ever wants showing up at their party!! The problem is, nobody knows who it is. When you read this book, maybe you’ll pick it up right away or maybe you’ll look at the faces of each of her friends and the paranoia will start to sink in…who knows?!? I don’t normally read books without paranormal twists, but this one was one of the few that made the cut! I really enjoyed it.
