The 10th anniversary edition of one of the most iconic, beloved, and bestselling books of our time from the bestselling author of City of Girls and Big Magic, Elizabeth Gilbert.Elizabeth Gilbert’s Eat Pray Love touched the world and changed countless lives, inspiring and empowering millions of readers to search for their own best selves. Now, this beloved and iconic book returns in a beautiful … and iconic book returns in a beautiful 10th anniversary edition, complete with an updated introduction from the author, to launch a whole new generation of fans.
In her early thirties, Elizabeth Gilbert had everything a modern American woman was supposed to want—husband, country home, successful career—but instead of feeling happy and fulfilled, she was consumed by panic and confusion. This wise and rapturous book is the story of how she left behind all these outward marks of success, and set out to explore three different aspects of her nature, against the backdrop of three different cultures: pleasure in Italy, devotion in India, and on the Indonesian island of Bali, a balance between worldly enjoyment and divine transcendence.

Loved, loved, loved. She is me in another life.
This book was an honest depiction of someone finding who they are in the world. I loved the different segments some more than others. It was a thoughtful and engaging book.
I loved the movie but hated the book. It just seemed to drag on and on. Do not see what all of the fuss was about.
Gilbert’s raw writing had me turning page after page. One of my favorite books by one of my favorite authors.
I loved it
Hated this book about nothing.
Good chick lit
Content does not relate to title. Book is shallow and a waste of time.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, maybe because I was going through my own divorce when I picked it up and began reading. It was fun, inspirational and I just love Ms. Gilbert’s viewpoint and wit.
Just average
Self-serving drivel in my opinion.
I wanted to know what the hype was all about, and the book turned out worlds better than I expected! Great, heartfelt story and wonderful teachings. This is definitely a book to remember.
This story kept me company when I needed it most. I got to travel across the globe in Liz’s shirt pocket. She has a wonderful way of bringing you into her world and thoughts as if you’re beside her.
Read this awhile ago and although I enjoyed it because it was well- written, at times I felt that there was some indulging in self-pitying but still a good read.
A perfect story for finding yourself! One book I will read again!
the woman in this lovely tale tore her life apart so she could put together a better one for herself. A more authentic, invigorating and purposeful life. Sometimes in order to really move forward, on a path you have to burn down everything behind you (and sometimes a few things in front so you can see the path better). I was an inspiring and uplifting story
Self indulgent
Bit slow in places but still enjoyed it, especially the ending.
One of the first books I read that opened my eyes to the possibility of becoming a fully self actualised human. Liz Gilbert is one of my heroes, showing women how to be brave and true to themselves.
