BOOK ONE IN THE E SERIES
Life is harsh. It makes no exceptions. Not even for the innocent.
Outpost Three: a huddle of crumbling buildings choked by a concrete wall. Cracked pavement, rusted metal, splintering boards. Huge robotic Sentries police the streets, but the Ten Laws are broken every time one turns its back.
Eden is determined, smart, and a born survivor. Stripped of her memories and … survivor. Stripped of her memories and dumped on the streets of the Outpost, slavers and starvation are only the beginning of her problems. A devastating conflict is coming that threatens to consume her world and tear her newfound family apart.

The world building gives a stark example of a desperate dystopian future. There was a section of the story that was based around starvation and delusion that went kind of slow and confusing so I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. But before and after that, it had enough action and story to keep me interested.
A very good read, left me looking for more. Not a big fan of post-apocalyptic stories, this one has a fresh take on that milieu.
This is Book 1. I have read 3 books. The first book I give 4 stars; it was quite good. The second book was just OK – 3 stars. The third book is about 2 stars. There is a line in the third book -“To be honest, it’s getting pretty boring” The author in that one line sums up this book perfectly. She also overuses the word “clearly”. She clearly loves the word “clearly” So if you want to read a good book, read the first book in this series and then stop. Don’t waste your time with the rest. My 3 stars is an average rating for all 3 books.
did not like first person writing
The development of the charakters and of the story is way to slow. I gave up after two-thirds of the books.
I never saw any real plot development
This book is very dark, which I enjoy sometimes, but the main character spent too much time wallowing and hem hawing and there is so much left unexplained. I get that she has no memory and that the story goes beyond this book, but for the 2 main characters to have so little communication and interaction with each other, I don’t know it just didn’t really work for me. I am curious about what comes next as I am sure the author intended but felt like there is so little of what is the actual story I want to know included in the first book, that the next will be the same. I don’t regret reading this, it is very interesting, but I won’t be getting the second book
Left you hanging. I had found another author who did this, she passed away which left me hanging. That was 3 years ago and my mind still goes there and wonders. Obviously this left a bad taste in my mouth.
Loved it
Great story. Well written. Exciting.
Same plot rehashed
It’s okay but I got lost in quite a few places. Wouldn’t read again.
