Previously on Dragon War Chronicles, the first strike was made against their enemies, but the cost was heavy. Mourning their losses, Danica still must prepare for dragons that will be coming to woo her. She already knows the dragon she wants to mate to, but will she convince Kollin that she’s ready to commit?Of all the dragons going to Toulouse to meet Danica and see if they have a chance only … have a chance only one has a completely different agenda. He knows which dragon he wants and it isn’t Danica. Will Xavier win the heart of Danica’s brother?
Anchin Luu, Danica’s brother and manager of her Las Vegas casino, Dragon’s Hoard, has spent his whole life alone due to his deadly nature. A broken experiment and retired assassin Anchin isn’t sure what to make of the water dragon that has invaded his life.
Love is in the air, but so is gunpowder. SLIPs going missing, Coyotes crashing parties, and a mating you’ll never forget are all in store for you on the next exciting installment of Dragon War Chronicles.
Attention: This book contains explicit sexual content between consenting dragons, depictions of relationships that are MF and MM with a dash of doublemint fun.
Dragon War Chronicles is a continuous series. It is best read in order.

Reading this series is like following a twister, you never know what direction it is going to go or what happens next. Wow, it is exhausting! I don’t like giving spoilers but the scene between Danica and Kollin is…..AMAZING!! and the last scene of Salvatore is so sad, how someone can believe so low of himself? Made me cry!!
Another great book, lot of action that continues, deadly situations…. You really need to read the first 3 books to fully enjoy and understand the plot, but…. so good!!
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
Dragon’s Hoard is the fourth book in the Dragon War Chronicles series by A.G. Carothers. This is a continuous series that is best read in order, so make sure to read the previous three books first for ultimate enjoyment of the story.
This book does a fantastic job bringing you further into the universe created and getting you engrossed in the drama and action. These characters are interesting…. their world is intriguing and entertaining. The story delivers on drama, action, adventure, and some love stories with steamy scenes… oh and some big surprises. This series gets better as it progresses. Amazing!!!
I received an advanced reader’s copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
Can not be read as a stand alone. This improved from book 3. We get more of the story and more of the connections between characters. Danica finally makes her choice ( not so choice) of mate. No idea how many books are planned for this series but looking forward to reading the rest when they are released.
I’d like to start off by saying that I think Danica is super clever by hiding in plain sight. The names of her businesses all hint to what she is but no one would guess unless they know about that world.
In Dragon’s Hoard, A.G. Carothers takes on quite the journey and all I can say is hang on for the ride! We immediately pick up where First Strike ended. Danica and Kollin are getting closer but the Dragon Council just has to interfere. Can Jabari please have, ahem, a horrible accident? The rest of her crew are around (love, love Matt and Xander, especially with bathrooms), and I hope we’ll see more of other characters in later books (foxes and twins, oh my), but our main focus is on Anchin, or Anthony, and a newcomer Xavier.
Anthony has a soft spot in my heart. Ever since we first learned about him, I’ve wanted to know his story and see him find happiness. I’m ecstatic that he is the star in this book and we learn his history. As for his HEA, I can only say thank the gods for Xavier and his stubbornness. These two just make my day. On another front Danica is navigating the politics of the Dragon Council and kicking butt, but as expected nothing is ever easy for our group. Outside forces oppose our family’s happiness and trouble ensues.
Another fun and exciting read from the talented A.G. Carothers. Each book keeps getting better and all I can say is I want more!
