For urban-legend hunter and television host Gabe Powers, it’s business—investigate the most notorious haunted places in Savannah. Then he meets his new sound engineer, a dewy Georgia peach who may just turn this gig into (im)pure pleasure. All it takes is one night for them to conjure floor-rattling, wall-banging moans…but they’re not from the ghosts.Blame the rippling abs, the cocky swagger, the … cocky swagger, the granite jawline, the whole muscle-bulging package, but Gabe is bringing out good-girl Lily Jameson’s dirty side. Damn her code-of-conduct contract—this isn’t just a molten-hot fling.
There’s just one kink in the relationship they’ve been avoiding: soon they’ll be going their separate ways. Lily’s home is in Savannah, and Gabe is a globe-trotter at heart. For them to be together, they’ll both have to upend their so-very-different worlds and face their fears in the process. And suddenly things don’t feel so Georgia peachy keen at all.

Oh wow. I have so much love for this book right now. Christ, I loved every single moment of it!
From the moment I seen the info about this book I knew I had to read it. I’m a huge fan of myth’s and Urban Legends, I absolutely LOVE watching shows about them or reading about them so this beauty was everything I loved and more.
Lily and Gabe are so freaking perfect it actually hurts.
Lily lives in her own bubble, preferring to do what she knows and stay where she knows. She’s beautiful, bubbly and adorable and has a huge fear of flying. But when she attracts a guy that’s the complete opposite she has to decide what she wants most.
Gabe is adventurous and loves to travel the world and check out urban legends in different places in the world. He’s smart, charming and has girls falling at his feet but he only wants the one woman who will take his heart, he just hasn’t found her yet but things could possibly be about to change when he’s almost knocked out by a woman.
Gabe and Lily’s story was all kinds of adorable. They’re sweet, fun and loveable. Watching them interact and share time together was so damn awesome, I loved every second we got with these two.
The sex, Christ almighty, it was hot. Wait, hot doesn’t even begin to describe it, it was scorching, melted panties scorching *sighs* where can one apply for a Gabe of their own?
Nicola Rendell did an outstanding job on this, I loved the feel of this book, the characters, the story just everything. I’ll definitely be coming back to read more from this author.
5 It’s Getting Hot In Here Stars!!!
I know when I pick up a book by Ms. Rendell I’m going to get a story that is everything I look for in a romance….Hot Alpha Male, Check, Sexy, Smart and Sassy Heroine, Check, Squirm In My Seat Sex, Check, check and triple check!!!
Gabe is a ghost-hunter that’s in Savannah researching ghosts and when he literally runs into Lily he knows his world has changed…unfortunately Lily wasn’t quite on the same page with him…yet!! Leave it to a man that is goal driven and knows how to talk dirty to get the girl in his bed!! It also helps that as a sound engineer Lily is just the person that can help with his latest project.
There’s also a third main character in this book and it’s Lily’s roommate, The General…a cocky and beautiful African Gray Parrot! And he’s VERY protective of “his” girl which leads to some laugh out loud moments!! The more of this book that I read, the more I loved it. These two are definitely quite the pair. I adore how Gabe brought out a side of Lily I don’t think she even realized was hiding beneath the surface.
This book moves at a rapid pace and given what these two are doing, looking for ghosts, it makes perfect sense. It’s definitely an insta-love kind of book. Quite frankly if I had a Gabe that’s as perfect as Gabe Powers, I’d do anything I could to keep him with me too!! But the fact that they both feel the connection they have, there’s nothing to do but to be together forever!
If you’re a fan of hot and steamy insta-love mixed with a swoony alpha and a whole heap of dirty talking then this is the book for you!
Nicola delivers yet another blinder with Do You Feel It Too? where we follow the story of Legend Hunter Gabe and the quirky sound tech Lily when a chance encounter leads to them spending an awful lot of time together in very close proximity.
Queue the sexual chemistry, and let me tell you they have it in spades! Yes, it’s an extremely instant display of affection but they say when you know you know so I wasn’t put off by this, instead embracing it and enjoying it for the gorgeousness it is.
And let’s not forget the General! This awesome African Grey Parrot has me in stitches many times, especially with his tirade of WW1 language, and his siren!!! Lol!!!
Nicola’s books always have me hooked from the start and I thoroughly enjoyed Lily and Gabe’s story.

3.5-4 stars for this book. Do You Feel It Too?….. at some times I did and at other times I didn’t. I am a huge fan of this author’s work and yes this was an enjoyable read, but it didn’t grab me like her others have in the past. I loved the characters Gabe and Lily and I especially loved the scenes with The General. I enjoyed the story, it was refreshing to have the couple hunting for ghosts and the scenes that played out because of this.
Do You Feel It Too? is yet another example of why Nicola Rendell is an automatic one-click author for me. This story gives us an adorable meet-cute, a swoon-worthy alpha hero, a charming heroine, and (some may say he stole the story) an African Grey parrot who provides tons of comic relief.
Set in Savannah, one of my favorite towns of all time, Gabe and Lily are brought together to do a little ghost hunting. Their chemistry is sizzling and their banter will keep you on your toes. I loved the pace of their relationship and how things come together. The plot is low angst, which makes this an easy read that is most enjoyable.
This book is a recommended read and another favorite of the year!
I cant stop smiling even after I had closed the final page. Do you feel it too? Yes I do! A Small town romance that felt so right.. I had laughed so much… giggling like a school girl… Everything was snug.. wam bubbly.. hillarious as hell..
I do believe on ‘Love at the first sight’ sydrome.. Lily and Gabe were meant for each other… Their relationship were hot and fuzzy..I cant possibly hide my blushed cheeks when Im reading.. between the little town perks and the almighty ‘the General’ he is a cahoot .. I love him so much!!!!
Nicola had captured my heart with her simple smalltown romance.. no pretensious big words.. simple comedy that will warm your feelings.. honestly, I cant stopped reading once I opened the first chapter… The overall eperience was great.. I love small town grocery!
This funny, sweet & sexy story captured me right from the start! It is a fresh and unique story that stole my heart and made me fall for Lily and Gabe just as quickly as they fell for each other. They are total opposites, with Gabe having a life filled with adventure, and travel, while Lily’s world is small, and safe, but filled with good friends, and family. Their ‘meet cute’ is so funny and along with the fire works in the sky, their own sparks fly between them right from the start. They unknowingly become colleagues on Gabe’s current ghost hunting project making it impossible to ignore their explosive chemistry and the feelings that grow between them. But Gabe is only in Savannah for a short time, will he be able to leave behind the the woman who is so perfect for him and has made him think of home? I loved Lily and Gabe so much, and thought they were so perfect together. They were both honest and kind, and they worked well together on the job and in their passionate desires. They went on some fun adventures, and the quirky characters they encountered made this romance even more enchanting, with the General being my favorite! I also loved the ending, because it was so perfect for them, but I definitely wanted more. This book has it all, it’s funny, has witty banter, it has exhilarating, heartbreaking, and heartwarming moments, and lots of hot & dirty sensual passion. You definitely do not want to miss this delightful and sexy romance!
I feel love for this book!
I loved this book! This is a perfect rom-com! I laughed out loud so much, & I swooned at the romance! I loved the meet-cute/meet-funny between Gabe & Lily all the way through to getting to know each other to falling in love to a little bit angst to a happy ending. I loved both main characters, felt for them & I was rooting for them the whole time. If you love reading a quick, funny, romantic book like I do, then read this book!
4.5*
Do You Feel It Too? is another terrific read from Nicola Rendell. I was so excited to read about Gabe the ghost hunting adventurer because those are really the only type of shows on tv that I watch! If Ghost Adventures is on, I am there. While this book didn’t give me quite what I was hoping for/expecting in that aspect of the story, it sure made up for it in the sweet, fun, and sexy love story between Lily and Gabe!
Gabe and Lily are definitely a case of opposites attracting. Gabe is always on the move, globe-trotting and seeking the next adventure for his television show. Lily is quite content with the life she’s made for herself in Georgia, she’s got her job, her nephew, her sister, and the General- what more could she want? That’s the big question she faces when Gabe enters the picture and shows her there’s so much more to life than what she’s settled for, if only she could get past her fears and insecurities.
Ms. Rendell sure can write a dreamy hero! Gabe brings all the alpha-male goodness in Do You Feel It Too?…and believe you me, you will feel it when you read this book! He’s swoony and sweet and sexy, he’s all the things you could ever want in a book boyfriend. And he is all about Lily- from the moment he sees her across the park there was no turning back for him!
4 Stars
If you’ve ever read a Nicola Rendell book, you know they’ll be a deliciously sexy man with a cool job, an adorably quirky female and an outrageously funny animal you can’t help but love. In Do You Feel It Too? Nicola doesn’t stray from her successful formula and I couldn’t be happier about it!
Urban legend hunter, Gabe Powers, makes ghost hunting and monster tracking look good! An accidental heartthrob, he enjoys globetrotting on random adventures for the viewers. But no amount of swimming with crocodiles and cliff diving could prepare him for the adrenaline jolt he received from a small town girl in Savannah. One look at her and there were fireworks, literally and figuratively.
Lilly Jameson is about as far from an adventure hunter as they come. Rarely straying farther than the borders of her beloved Savannah, she’s a small town girl with firmly planted roots. Running her own sound business has provided her with some strange encounters but when a handsome, celebrity ghost hunter wants her to provide audio for his latest episode, she’s blown away by the opportunity and the insane chemistry between them!
This book was a seriously adorable, unputdownable read! The meet cute between our H/h couldn’t have been funnier and I loved every single minute of them getting to know each other. Not one to be upstaged, the General, is the hysterical parrot that stole the show! Loved everything about this story! Great read!
AnnMarie – Alphas Do It Better Book Blog
Nicola Rendell books are kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. Rendell’s heroes are over-the-top alpha, but not in a douchey way. She manages to write them in such a way that they can be super-alpha and possessive yet sweet and swoony at the same time and Gabe is a prime example of this (sigh). As typical with Rendell’s books, Gabe and Lily fall into a bit of insta-love/lust but again, it’s somehow believable instead of eye-roll inducing like it could be if it weren’t written as well.
Another hallmark of Rendell’s books are her hilarious animal characters and in Do You Feel it Too, we meet The General – an African Grey parrot with one of the most hilarious personalities I’ve ever encountered. The dogs in her books are some of my favorite supporting characters I’ve read, but I think that The General might be at the top of my list.
The meet-cute was well, cute and did I mention how hot parts of the story were?? The chemistry between Gabe and Lily is off-the-charts. Overall, the story was fairly low-angst (beside some necessary conflict required to move the plot along) and made for a fun, easy read.

4.5/5 STARS
I LOVED Shimmy Bang Sparkle and So Good, and of course, I couldn’t wait for this book
Take a handsome adventure TV show star, and a lovely, sweet, down-to-earth Savannah girl, some ghost hunting…. And a parrot!
Then add Nicola Rendell’s writing, and you’ll get a wonderful story
I enjoyed Lily’s personality, balanced with all the Gabe’s sexiness, their two worlds colliding…
I love how Nicola Rendell writes steamy and sweet romance, all at once
And The General… You NEED to meet “him” I laughed so much with this one!
I enjoyed EVERY SINGLE THING in this story, the sexual tension, the banter, the passion, but also the sweet moments, the humor, and yes, again, The General!!!!
And with a little hint of angst with Lily’s insecurities about their relationship, of any kind of future with Gabe, then You’ll have a wonderful romance.
I read the book in two days (because real life always gets in the way lol), and once again, I can assure you that Nicola Rendell is one of my One Click Author. She never disappointed!

Do you feel it too? And I did feel it!! All the swoons, all the sweet and so much humor sprinkled in with the emotion.
Gabe Powers is the a tv host, a ghost hunter and urban legend hunter. He is extremely good looking with a giant fan club.
Lily Jameson is the hometown quirky girl. There is immediate attraction but Lily considers Gabe completely out of her league.
“I’d spent my whole career avoiding dangerous situations. I get within ten feet of Lily and it’s one disaster after another. She was like the Bermuda Triangle.”
I absolutely loved these characters and the General was amazing! He flies to life right off of the pages!
“Everything else will come and go. But love will change your world if you let it.”
The chemistry between these two is completely off the charts! With the banter and dirty talk alone I expected my ereader to burn up in my hands!!
-5Stars!-
Nicola Rendell’s Do You Feel It Too? is her latest release. It is the story of Gabe and Lily.
Gabe, who is a reality star but is more humble than most of your Hollywood celebrities. His humbleness is one of his character traits I just fell in love with.
On the other hand, there’s Lily, a southern girl with her own sound company. I loved her sassy attitude. She’s not sassy in a mean way but can think on the fly, as some may call it quick wit. Fireworks are in the air, both literally and figuratively. They meet on the Fourth of July. After their first awkward meeting, she is hired by Gabe’s producer to do the sound for a ghost hunting episode.. Throughout the book, their chemistry is undeniable.
This is only the second book by Ms. Rendell that I have read. In both cases she has not disappointed me yet.
I really recommend Do You Feel It To? It’s a great read.
5 Stars
Do You Feel It Too is the newest book by Nicola Rendell. I have loved Nicola’s books from the very first one I read. Every time I read a new book, I swear that it is my new favorite. Well, this time I really mean it. This book! There is just something special about it. I can’t put my finger on just what it is. Only that I loved every page, every word in it. I pretty much fell in love with Gabe and Lily right from the start. But somewhere around half way, Gabe does something that made my love for him grow so big I could hardly contain it. This is going to be one of those reviews that I struggle to find all the right words to let you know how fantastic this book really is!
Gabe Powers is sort of an accidental tv star. He never really meant for this career to happen. But a chance meeting with his now manager set him on the path he is now enjoying, and enjoying it he is. Gabe hosts the show, The Powers of Suggestion. He travels the world searching out urban legends. Gabe’s current project is researching the ghosts of Savannah, Georgia. Only it’s not a ghost encounter that set Gabe’s world off it’s axis, it was a collision, literally, with a beautiful woman.
“I’d spent my whole career avoiding dangerous situations. I get within ten feet of Lily and it’s one disaster after another. She was like the Bermuda Triangle.”
Lily Jameson has lived in Savannah all her life. She lives in the top half of a huge house, the bottom half inhabited by her sister and adorable baby nephew. Lily has her own sound engineer business. Lily rarely dates. One of the biggest reasons for that is her roommate, an African gray parrot named The General, she inherited from her grandmother. This parrot is as much a star in this book as Gabe and Lily. This parrot is so amazing, is no ordinary parrot, and also loves his Lily VERY much!
Gabe and Lily’s first encounter was a bit uncomfortable we could say, for Gabe at least. But it set them on a course that neither of them expected. The chemistry between these two was explosive from the start! Gabe knew he had to explore what this was. He couldn’t get her out of his mind. When Gabe’s manager decides he needs to hire a sound engineer to help him while in Savannah, he’s thrilled for the excuse to spend more time with Lily.
“Looking at her was exactly like that, like you thought your mind was playing a trick on you, like whatever you saw was too good to be real.”
Things escalate very quickly between these two and let me tell you, Gabe is one hot ghost hunter. He is definitely the boss in the bedroom but he also brings out a side of Lily she never knew she had, a dirty talking, dirty girl side! When Lily looks at Gabe, she can’t believe he is interested in her. He’s the most beautiful man she’s ever seen. He has thousands of women fans lusting after him. But he seems to only have eyes for her. But, he’s only here temporarily. Then he will go back to his crazy life, and she’ll stay here where she’s always been.
This book hit about every mark for me that makes a book amazing. It was sweet, sexy as heck, had humor, characters that you won’t soon forget, but mostly, it just grabbed my heart right from the beginning and never let go. Gabe was just a dream. He was all bossy alpha but was also about the sweetest man I have ever read about. This man makes the word “swoon” seem insignificant. And Lily, she was so sweet, but also had just enough spine as well. Neither of these two were looking for love, but recognized in each other that thing that was missing from their lives. What happens, though, when their time is over? How could they ever find a way to make their lives work together?
This book needs more than five stars! It needs ALL the stars! So, Nicola Rendell, you have done it again and stolen my heart. I don’t know how you do it over and over again but I am so glad you do. Thank you for another wonderful book.

Do You Feel It Too is the newest book by Nicola Rendell. I really loved this book and enjoyed every single page in it. This book! There is just something special about it. I can not say exactly what it is that got me so hooked on this book or why it’s so special to me, it’s just that. The characters Gabe and Lily are in love from the first second. Their way makes them adorable for the reader. But sometime in the course of the book, something happened and I was literally addicted to Gabe. And it is precisely this something that makes it difficult to describe this or even to bring about a halfway understandable review.
Gabe never thought to follow the path of a TV star, but at some point he joined his manager, and since then, he just loves this job. He travels the world searching out urban legends. Gabe’s current project is researching the ghosts of Savannah, Georgia. Only it’s not a ghost encounter that set Gabe’s world off it’s axis, it was a collision, literally, with a beautiful woman.
Lily spent her entire life in Savannah and lives on the upper floor of a large house. While her sister lives in the house with her child. Lily does not go on dates and dedicates her life to her job as a sound engineer. The main reason that she has no dates is her gray parrot, which she inherited from her grandmother. This parrot is so amazing, is no ordinary parrot, and also loves his Lily!
The first encounter of Lily and Gabe was a little uncomfortable, at least for him. which gave them a direction that was not to be expected either for them or for the reader. The mood between the two was hot and charged from the beginning. it crackled and tingled all the time. Gabe was forced to find out why this was because he just could not get that woman out of his head anymore. That’s why he just likes that he needs a sound engineer and therefore hire Lily to work for him. Then everything goes pretty fast and the two get closer. Gabe is hot and not only in his job but also in bed. He is the boss there and he seduces Lily to dare to do things that would never have seemed possible to her in her wildest dreams. she discovers in herself a little perverted girl that likes all the filthy things he does with her. But she can not believe and understand why he is so interested in her, because as a TV star, he knows completely different women and has the opportunity to have them instead of her. She decides to use and enjoy the time with him because she knows there is an expiration date and he will go back to his real life far away from her.
This book had just everything, it was sensual, erotic, seductive, funny, loving and characters that you just can not and do not want to forget. Gabe was just a dream. He was all bossy alpha but was also about the sweetest man. And Lily, she was so sweet, but also had just enough spine as well.
This book is really in a position to make the Ereader go up in smoke when reading, to rewrite it and to respect the youth protection. Ending with a sweet and satisfying epilogue, you’ve got the perfect afternoon read.
If you like a really erotic book and also like dirty talk, this book is just right. but a little warning to all single ladys out there … such a type as gift I have not found in real life unfortunately and I still dream that they really exist. the men who know what women like and want and take whatever they want.
I give this book 4.5 / 5 stars.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley and Montlake Romance.
“He had a television show; I had a one-employee business. His passport was probably stamped on every page; I didn’t even have one. He lived a jet-set life; I lived with a parrot. We were worlds apart. I really was that simple. The hometown girl and the television star? Impossible.”
Nicola writes some of the funniest and sexiest rom-coms of all time! Do You Feel It Too? has a fantastic cast of characters that are thoughtful, kind, witty, smart, , sexy, humorous, and relatable. And the General is absolutely hilarious! I love Nicola’s addition of animal characters in her stories. And I love the mix of playful and cheeky humor, intense passion and sweet romance, and tension.
“There were a lot of mysteries in the world, but the way I felt about her wasn’t one of them. She was the one I wanted. She was the one I had been looking for. The one.”
Do You Feel It Too? has such a fun, original and creative storyline, and one of the best meet-cutes that you’re sure to fall in love with this story!
“Falling in love with her had been my favorite adventure yet.”
Nicola has done it again. I fell in love with her writing after reading Shimmy Bang Sparkle (that I am still not over) and now this new book of hers…WOW! I have a girl crush.
Gabe and Lily are such a cute couple together. I love them so much!
Gabe Powers is a tv star with his own show: The Powers of Suggestion, where he travels around the world filming his hunt for urban legends. The book starts with him enjoying fireworks for the Fourth of July in Savannah, Georgia and then a crash meeting with Lily. What follows is an amazingly hot insta-love and ultra steamy story with a hilarious African Gray parrot named The General. This book will have you laughing out loud, swooning, and fanning yourself sometimes all at once. Other times you want to smack them but only a little. I truly loved this story and cannot wait to find out what Rendell has in store for us next. She is now on my insta one-click list!
I’ve only read one other book by Nicola Rendell so far and after the hurly-burly, whirlwind of Shimmy Bang Sparkle, I was eager to get my hands on Do You Feel It Too?
This was one of the sweetest, funniest stories I’ve read this year. I flipping loved all the characters and that’s putting it mildly.
W.C Fields once said that you should never work with kids or animals because they are scene stealing and completely unpredictable. He may have been right, because baby Ivan (queue cutey smiles) and ‘the General’ certainly did do that. Amusingly so, and with total aplomb.
But, that didn’t mean that Lily and Gage were left out of the limelight, far from it. They had plenty of spellbinding scenes of their own. In fact, every second they were together was a wonderful, sweet, swoon or downright sexy time. Gage has got a bit of a filthy tongue and knows how to use it. Lily was putty in his hands, and after barely a second. Gage was the same.
Gage is a serial thrill-seeker, he has his own show and travels the world investigating different mysteries and mythologies from the jungles of the Amazon to the shores of Loch Ness. He’s a star and Lily?
She’s just a down-home girl, with her feet planted firmly in the Savannah soil she grew up in, she knows that no matter what he says, Gage would never truly be happy with her.
These two had so many little exploits, and I loved each and every one. The hardest made me want to hug Lily hard. I wanted them to make it, they were just so perfect for each other.
This book was a perfect slice of heaven. If you’re feeling down and want to get out of those blues then this will do the trick. If you just want a happy read, then look no further.
I can’t recommend this book highly enough.
It deserves to be made into a movie so everyone can share this ‘aaahhhh’ feeling.
Just like the fireworks on the 4th of July, Gabe and Lily’s relationship starts out with a bang and we can only hope that their finale is just as bright. Nicola Rendell does hot, sweet and sexy in such a way that’s endearing, honest and heartfelt. Her writing has a fun, witty way about it and it only enhances the journey you’re on. Let’s not forget about her knack to include a quirky family pet that tends to become an integral part of the story. Cue “The General,” the over the top parrot that has a larger than life personality!
Nicola’s flare for the original is evident once again in Do You Feel It Too. Yes, she blesses us with a sexy alpha male again, with the likes of Gabe. He’s is a woman’s dream with his thoughtful, kind gestures and swoony overtures. He says what he means, and he means what he says. There is no BS with this jet setting adventurer and those are the exact qualities that Lily loves about him the most. Lily is a sweet, kind, family-oriented entrepreneur that loves life in her little Savannah, Georgia bubble. She’s happy with not living life outside the box, but she never could have imagined a man like Gabe turning her life upside down like he does.
The budding romance between Gabe and Lily is immediate and intense. I loved the dynamic between these two and although it was quick and fierce, I felt it every step of the way. I can’t deny that Gabe captured me in his world of romance and that my girl crush on Lily is a real thing. Some things are a given, and Gabe and Lily fell into that category for me! Yes, I felt it too
