For urban-legend hunter and television host Gabe Powers, it’s business—investigate the most notorious haunted places in Savannah. Then he meets his new sound engineer, a dewy Georgia peach who may just turn this gig into (im)pure pleasure. All it takes is one night for them to conjure floor-rattling, wall-banging moans…but they’re not from the ghosts.Blame the rippling abs, the cocky swagger, the … cocky swagger, the granite jawline, the whole muscle-bulging package, but Gabe is bringing out good-girl Lily Jameson’s dirty side. Damn her code-of-conduct contract—this isn’t just a molten-hot fling.
There’s just one kink in the relationship they’ve been avoiding: soon they’ll be going their separate ways. Lily’s home is in Savannah, and Gabe is a globe-trotter at heart. For them to be together, they’ll both have to upend their so-very-different worlds and face their fears in the process. And suddenly things don’t feel so Georgia peachy keen at all.

Gabe and Lily’s story is so much fun! The two meet in Lily’s hometown of Savannah and hit it off immediately (maybe a little too literally). They’re relatable and down-to-earth, and their story’s well-balanced, with bursts of steam and chemistry, some realistic emotional turmoil, and plenty of humor and adventures.
The secondary characters are a hoot, and I particularly love Gabe’s adventures getting to know Lily’s all-attitude parrot and her adorable nephew.
It’s nearly 5 stars for me, but I must be in quite a feminist mindset because I found myself too annoyed with the various “manly man” comments sprinkled throughout to quite round up. Despite a few eye rolls, I really enjoyed Do You Feel It Too? and highly recommend it!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

What is better than a romance book mixed in with a little thriller in the form of ghost hunting? I was excited to read this book. I have read Nicola’s previous books and have liked them. The chemistry between Gabe and Lily was off the charts. I enjoyed the banter and all the times they spent together. This book was sweet and sexy and pleasant. Gabe and Lily were wonderful characters and I was interested to see how it would go for them. This was a nice and easy story which is what I like to read. I did wish there was a little more ghost hunting because I am fascinated by that but still it was a decent read. Can’t wait to see what Nicola has coming next.
What more do you need for a great romance than a TV adventure person, a small town audio tech and a very opinionated parrot? This book was fabulous! A great love story about Gabe who sees Lily while she is working on the 4th of July and is immediately fascinated by her. The two fall hard and fast but can the small town girl and the grand adventurer make things work? Great characters, lovely fast paced story line. Probably my favorite book by this author this year!
Lily and Gabe …Do You Feel it Too is another winner from Nicola ! Their instant pull to their witty comical and sometimes awkward banter ! It gives you that feel good and takes care of all the things that I love from my book couples. Nicola has once again written characters that I want to be friends with and watch their journey from first meeting to making it as a couple !! So Good !!!!

I absolutely am loving Nicola’s books. Every book I read so far has me lmao or giving me the feels. Lily & Gabe are a couple I will never forget and The General he was absolutely hilarious. The story had me hooked from the start and the characters had me not wanting to put my kindle down. Another amazing read that everyone needs to one click.
This novel absolutely hit the ground running.
“Sometimes the thing you’ve been looking for shows up when you least expect it.”
From the moment Gabe claps eyes on Lily, he’s totally smitten. Nothing will deter his pursuit, not even when she accidentally clocks him with her microphone stand! LOL. Lily is equally taken with Gabe. She has no idea who he is – she’s just struck by his charming gorgeousness.
“As soon as I touched him, I saw something wild in his expression. Something so intense, it sent a prickle of goosebumps right through me.”
When she finds out that they’ll be working together, she’s happy to spend time with him….more than happy when their chemistry rockets them off into the sextratosphere. When she’s offered a longer term contract, however, the conduct clause dampens her libido, especially when she then realises just how famous Gabe really is. She’s just a home-loving girl who never ventures far, and he’s an adventurer who leads a transient life, travelling all over the world.
She doesn’t want to hold him back but, for the first time in his life, Gabe has finally found somewhere, and someone, to call home. Unfortunately, he has Lily’s fears to overcome.
“You deserve to be loved senseless, Lily. And I want to be the man to give you that. I never knew what I wanted. And then I met you.”
LOVED Lily and Gabe’s story! It was funny, super hot and, flip, my eyes leaked so bad!
Lily is sweet, a little quirky, and has the biggest heart. Gabe is totally swoonworthy! He was genuine, thoughtful, and willing to do anything for Lily. The connection between them and how they felt about each other made me feel all squishy inside. I just adored them together. And Gabe totally brought out the dirty girl in Lily. They were absolutely scorching together!
This was such a fun, hawt, easy read that also had me reaching for a tissue. LOVED IT!
I loved the premise of this book – I’m a huge fan of paranormal and cryptozoology shows – so the blurb drew me in, but Nicola Rendell’s writing kept my attention. Her books are funny, smart, sassy and a whole lot of sexy. DYFIT is no exception. It just might be Rendell’s best yet, although I say that with every book.
I loved the chemistry between Gabe and Lily. And as with every Rendell book, the secondary characters – yup, I’m talking about the General – stole the show. She always manages to write such interesting and lovable pets.
4.5 stars. This is such a good book! Super sweet and oh-so-swoony! This is Gabe and Lily’s book. Gabe is a reality tv star. He stars in a show where he travels the world and does crazy adventures. He is shooting a pilot for a new ghost themed show, so he heads to Savannah for a few days to check out local haunts. There he meets Lily on the Fourth of July and there is fireworks between them. They meet at a park where she accidentally clocks him with a microphone and it is near-love at first sight. Lily owns a sound production company and Gabe’s producer hires her to work with him in setting up sound recording in the haunted house he is staying in. As the two work together and spend time together, they fall for each other. They have to figure out how to make a relationship work between them when he is a world traveler and she is just a small town girl.
I loved Gabe and Lily. Gabe was such a good guy. Sexy, sweet and so swoony in the way he adored Lily. She was fun and sweet too. Lily had relatable insecurities and fears, which it was great to see her overcome. I loved the way they fell in love what seemed like gradually, but also by spending a lot of time together over a short period of time. I loved the little gifts they gave each other. They were just perfect together and fit together so well. The writing was good and the story was unique and original. This book was so romantic and fun. It was funny, sexy, and sweet. There are quirky characters and a wacky talking parrot. I loved the Savannah, GA setting and all the descriptions of local color. I loved the reality adventure show and ghost hunting aspect. This book is not a paranormal book but the ghost hunting adventures the couple went on her so fun and hilarious.
I say this every time, but I love everything Nicola Rendell writes. Her writing style and her stories are the very best match for me as a reader. She is my very fave and I just love and fully connect to her books so well. It’s hard to think of what else to say. I just think this book is near perfection. The perfect combination of sexy, sweet and funny. I can’t wait to see what Ms. Rendell comes up with next!
I need to start by pointing out how pretty and eye catching the cover of Do You Feel It Too is. Even if I knew nothing about this author or book, I would be giving it a second glance. I also love that the male lead has a less than typical job. I get really excited when we read about character who do something you don’t usually find in books.
Gabe is tv host who is an urban-legend hunter and is currently investigated all the haunted locations in Savannah, Georgia. Work keeps him plenty busy, but his new sound engineer Lily is proving to be quite the distraction. Lily is a good southern girl, but Gabe is bringing out the hidden dirty side she didn’t know she had. He is cocky and way too sexy for his own good. Gabe and Lily’s attraction sizzles and soon it’s clear this relationship is much more than a fling. Trouble is whatever they have has a clear expiration date. Lily’s home is in Savannah and Gabe travels the world investigating ghosts and urban legends.
I love Nicola Rendell books. She always writes characters I become completely wrapped up in and the relationships sizzle with molten chemistry. I really enjoyed the whole ghost investigation spin to the plot since I love anything remotely paranormal.
New to this author, I enjoyed her style of writing and characterization. The plot was fun and some of the romance quite steamy. The story was relevant to the character’s ages and what would be realistic goals at this point in their lives. The reader can feel the chemistry coming off the pages and the comic relief that was provided, especially in way of the General, he was a absolute riot.
Gabe Powers, host of his own Paranormal TV show and voted People Magazine’s “Most Eligible Bachelors” has seen sights from all around the world and back. But it’s on a hot night in Savannah that the sight Lily Jameson has stoppped him in his tracks. Lily has no idea who Gabe is until she’s already committed to dinner with him and things only get more intense from there. However, Lily likes to play it safe and has created a stable little life for herself in Georgia and Gabe is a glob trotting risk taker. Will their romance have a chance or will it fail before getting off the ground?
Quick, easy read. 4 Stars
There’s a lot to love about Do You Feel It Too?, the latest romantic comedy by favorite author Nicola Rendell. The premise is unique and fun, the setting is charming and mysterious, and the characters are perfectly paired to deliver a sweet, funny, quirky, sexy, surprising story that draws you in and captures your imagination from beginning to end.
Gabe is so charming, sweet and sexy he’s almost too perfect. And when he goes full-alpha, he takes your breath away. (Warning: that happens a LOT). When he takes care of Lily’s nephew for a night, you will laugh until you cry – and then your ovaries may explode, because is there anything more adorable and attractive than a guy bonding with a baby? I don’t think so.
Lily is more of a girl-next-door type who rarely, if ever, ventures too far out of her comfort zone. As the story develops, her relationship with Gabe forces her to confront the fears and insecurities that have held her back for far too long; to take risks, and in doing so, to unleash the strong, sexy woman hidden within. It’s a meaningful, beautiful, relatable journey.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention The General, an African Grey parrot Lily inherited from her grandmother. He is so cleverly written he steals the show in every scene that features him. His command of southern history and contemporary films is only surpassed by his timing and temperament. He is beyond delightful – he’s unforgettable.
I’m not a big fan of “insta-love,” but in a relatively short, fast-paced story such as this, it’s pretty much a given. However, the characters were so well developed it wasn’t entirely inconceivable. And the undercurrent of tension–“the ticking clock,” counting down the days until Gabe’s trip to Savannah would inevitably end — left just enough doubt about their future to keep me turning pages and hoping for that happy-ever-after. The moment of truth was so beautifully written it brought me to tears…and that doesn’t happen very often.
Altogether, Do You Feel It Too is a delightfully charming, sexy, funny story that delivers on every level. It’s escapism at its best, with humor, heat, and lots of heart. Don’t miss it.
This was such a fun, sexy read! I absolutely loved all the crazy antics that this couple as well as the people and animals around them got up to.
Gabe has a tv program that covers unexplained paranormal reports. While covering some of the haunted sites in Savannah, he sees the most amazing thing he has ever seen before…Lily. With every intention of getting to know her, their first meeting begins with quite a smash. Lily doesn’t recognize Gabe for the entertainment persona he is and he finds that even more refreshing than her smile and her sparkling personality. Soon, they are investigating together, having wild and dirty talking sex and falling helplessly in love.
Until the conflict between this couple arose, I was constantly grinning from ear to ear. Lily and Gabe were just so cute together. Add in one crazy animal and I was laughing out loud. And dear lord, my ovaries exploded when Gabe was left to babysit Lily’s nephew. This book was just one freaking amazing scene after another all leading up to a heartbreaking moment that made me want to weep.
I absolutely adored Gabe and truly wondered how he would ever be at a place that would give Lily confidence that he truly wanted to be with her. She has a reason to mistrust but her fears over their relationship in regards to his job was very real and certainly believable. There were a few different ways this conflict could’ve been resolved but I was so very happy at the direction this author allowed this couple to take. Especially Lily. I think she may be my new “hero”ine.
This is a fast paced read with extreme heat and plenty of dirty talk that will light your ereader on fire. With some background on the sites they visit around Savannah I felt completely pulled into the location and life of this couple. Ending with a sweet and satisfying epilogue, you’ve got the perfect afternoon read. I can’t help but recommend this book to anyone who likes their rom-com laced with a bit of angst.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley and Montlake. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Do You Feel It Too?
5 Stars ++++
Marvelous story!! Loved everything about this! The cover is really gorgeous! Pleasurable read! A lot of feels! Loved the characters and the story line! A VERY MUST READ!!
“Oh that hug, my God, that hug.”
“Christ, happiness. More than I ever thought I’d feel.”

Gabe Powers is the kind of guy romance books are written about. And Lily, well she was a beautiful character, someone I felt very affectionate towards. This one could be classified as an insta love story but it didn’t feel that way while reading. Their banter, their chemistry and their shared humour made it feel like a really rich story.
Can their love survive the fact that he’s a globe trotting TV star & she’s a sweet stay at home Georgia Peach? Fears are uncovered and mistakes are made. I really loved how the story was handled & definitely recommend.
4 1/2 GHOSTLY STARS!! What a refreshing read from the first page to the last page. This book was cute, sweet, sexy and hot with fantastic characters. Gabe and Lily had chemistry that burned the pages up no matter what they were doing. Nicola Rendell is a master at writing the perfect story that you will never forget and this one is no different. Make sure to one click this book, perfect to escape a terrible day.
Gabe Powers is definitely quality book boyfriend material; he has a kickass career as the host of the show, The Powers of Suggestion, traveling the world and uncovering some of the world’s most well-known urban legends. He’s has an incredible on-air personality, which makes him quite popular among his female fans, but what makes him such an appealing hero is the fact that he’s an all-around amazing guy, which Nicola Rendell sufficiently illustrates throughout the pages of
Do You Feel It Too?
Lily Jameson is nothing like the women she feels someone like Gabe Powers would desire, so the idea that he’s the least bit interested in her boggles her mind, but as much as she doesn’t understand his attraction, she’s more than willing to let things play out between them, and in doing so, Gabe helps Lily to be more adventurous and much more vocal, especially when it comes to what she wants and needs in a sexual partner.
There’s an insta-love feel to Gabe and Lily’s relationship; things between them advance and deepen quite quickly, which may not set well with some readers, given the fact that they come from two different worlds and have differing career and life goals. And while the pace of the story line did seem rushed, at times, Nicola Rendell does illustrate just how infatuated the hero and heroine seem to be with one another and as they spend more time together, opening themselves up in ways like they never have, it’s clear that there’s something special and significant between them and their willingness to explore everything they’re feeling for each other makes their relationship timetable a bit easier to understand.
As much as I enjoyed the scenes between Gabe and Lily as well as their interactions with other characters, Lily’s parrot, The General, definitely steals the show. Its flair for the dramatics and its over-the-top personality make for some entertaining encounters and add just the right amount of hilarity to this feel good, steamy read.
Every time I read one of Nicola Rendell’s stories, I always finish with a smile on my face and a case of the warm fuzzies, and Gabe and Lily’s story definitely continues that trend, and I’m sure the ones that follow will do so as well.
4 Poison Apples
Do You Feel It Too? is what I have come to expect from Nicola Rendell. A fun, flirty, laugh out loud romcom.
This book features Gabe, who is a television personality, the likes of which you would find on the Travel Channel. Lily is an independent sound engineer who likes to stay inside her bubble of Savannah, Georgia. Will a world traveler and a homebody find forever?
There is an insta-love, as they find they can’t stand to be without each other early on in the book. Gabe and Lily end up working together on Gabe’s television show, which is why he is in Savannah. The story is low on angst and has a lot of humor, especially from Lily’s pet parrot, The General. He is by far my favorite character in this book!
This book has a unique storyline, as well as an extremely unique pet. If you enjoy quirky romcoms, then don’t miss out on this book!
I have to say this book was a surprising treat. When I read the blurb and I saw our main characters occupation was a “ghost/urban legend hunter” I thought the story would be boring or off putting. It is for sure not a subject that I care about or want to learn about. Rather it was a pretty interesting story altogether. Gabe was a dream boat! I adored him from the get go. He is what you would call a perfect book boyfriend. Sexy, sweet, tad funny and dirty boy! He is a wanderer at heart and travels the world for his job, which he loves. Lily I have to say was not my cup of tea, and honestly it was irritating that she held a grudge about a past relationship for the last 10 plus years. Way too long to have a hang up that you hold against others in your relationships. It took almost 3/4 of the book before I got a feel for her and started to like her. Other than that there was nothing wrong with this story. Unique storyline, hot alpha and hot sexy times are to be had here. Not to mention the General! Wont’ give it away but go read about him yourself, he is a hoot and will make you smile!
I voluntarily reviewed an early copy of this book.
Nicola Rendell gave me all the feels with this book!!!! I absolutely FLOVED THIS BOOK, THIS STORYLINE, THESE CHARACTERS!!!!! Gah!!!!!
Nicola Rendell’s books, at least those post-Professed, follow a certain type: the plucky, if a bit naïve and comically innocent, heroine who becomes the object of fascination (and lust) of the strong, delicious hero, while featuring a quirky pet. In that regard, Do You Feel It Too follows along. Lily shares her Savannah home with perhaps the greatest sidekick since Ron Weasley, and she owns her own audio engineering business. Into her orbit swings Gabe, the host of a paranormal investigation reality show. Their attraction to each other is immediate, but of course there are Issues.
And yet this book feels more substantial than its predecessors.
Lily, for one, is more than the sum of her parts. There is more depth to her than, say, Stella from Shimmy Bang Sparkle. The elements she battles feel real and not overly idiosyncratic. You feel as if you know her, as if she’s someone you want to know.
Likewise, Gabe feels more fleshed out. He isn’t blindly devoted, yet he knows what (whom) he wants and he is determined to get it (her). I wish I knew more about his background, particularly his family. Lily’s is on full display, but Gabe’s, aside from a line here or there, remains a little more cloudy.
And then there is the General, who is THE BEST.
I am not kidding. THE BEST.
If you’re here and you’re curious about this book, undoubtedly you are familiar with Nicola Rendell’s writing, and you want to know about the sexy times. Dear reader, they will melt your naughty bits into a steaming puddle. With each of her books, I always think that there is no way Nicola Rendell’s sex scenes will get better BUT THEY DO.
I enjoyed this book a great deal. I loved the dynamic between Gabe and Lily, and I loved the General. I kept waiting for more to be made of the ghost hunting, paranormal stuff, but that’s a late development and one that doesn’t quite pay off the way you might hope. The good news is that by that point in the book, you won’t be bothered too much. Nicola Rendell envelops you so deeply into this story that your love for Gabe and Lily overrides everything.
