For urban-legend hunter and television host Gabe Powers, it’s business—investigate the most notorious haunted places in Savannah. Then he meets his new sound engineer, a dewy Georgia peach who may just turn this gig into (im)pure pleasure. All it takes is one night for them to conjure floor-rattling, wall-banging moans…but they’re not from the ghosts.Blame the rippling abs, the cocky swagger, the … cocky swagger, the granite jawline, the whole muscle-bulging package, but Gabe is bringing out good-girl Lily Jameson’s dirty side. Damn her code-of-conduct contract—this isn’t just a molten-hot fling.
There’s just one kink in the relationship they’ve been avoiding: soon they’ll be going their separate ways. Lily’s home is in Savannah, and Gabe is a globe-trotter at heart. For them to be together, they’ll both have to upend their so-very-different worlds and face their fears in the process. And suddenly things don’t feel so Georgia peachy keen at all.

I felt every smile, every heartbeat, every passionate moment of Do You Feel It Too? by Nicola Rendell. The book is witty and charming, with a deep vein of heartfelt emotion, and a cast of exceptional characters. This might be my favorite of Ms. Rendell’s work to date!
As an adventure seeking television star, Gabe has landed in Savannah looking for new ideas, hopefully in an old house with a resident ghost or two. When he spots sound tech Lily, he sees stars of a different type, quite literally.
My lord, I love Gabe and Lily! Gabe’s alpha male perfection is amped up by a dirty mouth, a terrific sense of humor, and a generous heart that just wants a home. He’s the absolute definition of swoonworthy! Sassy and sexy, Lily is everything I want in a heroine. She’s quirky and fun, loyal to a fault, and she’s not quite as confident as she appears. For both of them, the hidden vulnerability made them that much more appealing as I read. I truly wanted them to find their happiness with each other.
And I can’t forget to mention the General. He steals the show throughout the book. Nicola Rendell’s love of animals is apparent in her work, and her ability to give them a unique “voice” in the story is brilliant.
This is a 5 Star, Must Read story. Well written, unique and engaging, it was a joy to experience!
**4.5 STARS**
Do You Feel It Too? is hot! Not a simmering fire that keeps you warm and toasty, but an explosive, bring out the yellow tape, caution lights, and safety cones—HOT!
This was my first Nicola Rendell novel, but it is not the first to land on my kindle. I know, I know! I see what I’ve been missing now while harboring all her books!
Gabe is currently ghost hunting while in Savannah, Georgia. After a not so cute meet cute Gabe Powers meets Lily Jameson, only to discover rather quickly that she is his new audio tech while in Georgia. Cue the insta-love majorly on Gabe’s part and insert my heart eyes! Gabe was seemingly the perfect man, atleast that is how Lily saw him. She was apprehensive in believing all he was willing to put on the backburner for her. Though, her hurtful past more than justifies her behaviors. Yet still, Perfect Gabe was so dreamy, and so swoony, and so willing to give Lily everything in a matter of days. What? You were warned. This story smothers you with insta-love and a heat so hot I’m sure an uncontrollable wildfire or two was started during the creation of this novel!
But, Do You Feel It Too? is more than heat and love a few pages in. With secondary characters who intrigue, a pet parrot with a big personality, the aspect of the urban legends; Nicola Rendell has written a fast-paced, lighthearted novel with punches of emotions!
“I am in the palm of your hand, Lily. You turn your back on me and you’ll fucking crush me.”
Do You Feel It Too? by Nicola Rendell was an ABSOLUTE BLAST to read! Hot, steamy, sexy, hilarious, original, and emotional are just some of the words that come to mind when I think of this MUST READ ROMANCE! Nicola never disappoints, giving us characters that are so easy to fall in love with, secondary characters we can’t get enough of, and a unique storyline that is so effortless to immerse ourselves in.
The minute I set it down all I thought was…I WANT MORE! More of “The General” (OMG! You guys aren’t even ready for this unique character). More of Gabe Powers’ filthy and demanding mouth (I’m still fanning myself, for real). More of Lily’s relatable personality and hilarious sass. Not one single character stole the show…every single one SHINED so bright and made the story so bountiful. That being said, the beautiful love story was front and center all throughout. I loved Gabe and Lily’s connection. I loved how we got to witness the growth of a bond that was undeniable. The sex was INSANELY HOT! The story was laced with so much emotion that of course, there were a few tears here and there. The comedic relief was spot on and broke up the intensity of the love story at the perfect moments.
Seriously, I could go on and on…but just trust me when I say this is one contemporary romance you don’t want to miss out on! Ms. Rendell has released some great books, but this right here, has to be at the top of the list, for sure!
Final Score – 5 Impressed Stars!
Do You Feel It Too is Nicola Rendell’s latest achievement and when I say that it is – IT IS. This book is a MUST READ! I have mad love for Nicola’s whit and humor – which she pours into her work – and this one is just the creme de la creme of her artistry. As with each of her books, the banter is saucier, the sex is naughtier, and the animals are … well, exotic and out of this world with LOL antics. Seriously, if were up to me, I’d adopt each of the pets from her books and teach them these mad skills – but, who’s got time for that?
Gabe Powers is a somewhat of a celebrity in Savannah Georgia, shooting an episode for his show when he spots a woman he’s not only drawn to, he’s just got to meet. Enter Lily Jameson, local girl and sort of jack of all trades. Their first meeting should have ended anything further developing, but from the first contact, sparks. These two have immediate chemistry & their relationship escalates very quickly, but believably. I just adore them as both strong willed individuals as well as a couple trying to find their footing in the newness of fast paced relationship.
This book hits every mark for me that makes a book amazing – abundance of sweetness, sexy times galore, hilarious humor, strong characters, and most of it – it’s grabs at your heart strings from the very start. Gabe was just a dream and lets face – by the time your thru with the book, you’ll be wishing he was oh so real. He was a perfect blend of gentlemanly charm and alpha maleness all rolled up in one hunk of a man. Lily is sweet, loyal, kind, caring but also had gumption. She was no wilting flower.
Nicola Rendell has done it again and exceeded my expectations. I don’t know how you she does or will do in the future, but I for one am willing and waiting and waiting to find out how!
Gabe was not only a gorgeous celeb, living life on the edge, investigating myths, travelling the world, and being a one-man storytelling crew. He was also humble and sweet and kind and so freaking sexy. He was what book boyfriends are made of!
There was so much to love about this book.
Gabe and Lily’s first awkward encounter. It was the perfect way to show the personality of these characters and it was an entertaining meeting for sure.
Every description Lily gave of Gabe. I tried so hard to find an image online to fit what I pictured in my mind (see above). He sounds so freaking delicious and I would welcome the opportunity to lick all eight of his abs!
That first sex scene… let me just say that I couldn’t imagine a hotter coming together for these people. Talk dirty to me!
There was Lily’s quick wit, her warm heart, Gabe’s incredible awesomeness and so much more!
I haven’t found a story by this author that I haven’t loved yet. Nicola Rendell writes romcom books that I can easily picture on the big screen. I wonder who they would choose to play Gabe. He’d have to be absolutely gorgeous and charming and warm and endearing. Because that’s exactly who Gabe was and I can’t wait for you to meet him!
For starters…Nicola is totaly new author for me, so I wasn’t sure what should I expect. Of course I’ve done my own research… but still I have no idea on what kind of journey Do You Feel it too ? will take me.
After reading Nicola’s book I can honestly say that I like it very much. Till first pages I could dive in this book so fast, I was hopelessly devouring every page… every word. I’m feeling so happy that Fo You Feel it to ? was so suprising, it this good way story, that I gave Nicola chance.
Without any doubt I can recomend this book to every people who love to read about celebrities… … passion and HEA in the end.
Lilly and Gabe are really… entertaining together Nicola describe their story in amazing way. It couldn’t be possible not to love them since the begining. They very deffferent …. but when I looked closely…. they were so perfect together. Their chemistry is like real dynamite, humor will make readers laugh more than once. Maybe Gabe is alpha with full force, maybe Lily could be to sassy sometimes but still… Gabe is the sweetest to Lily, who couldn’t be more ideal girl for him …. They both melted my heart
Readers, don’t wait to much, go and meet Gabe and Lily, don’t waste You time !
Nicola Rendell hasn’t written a book that I haven’t enjoyed immensely. In fact, with each new book that she releases, she just seems to get better and better. She ticks off all my boxes, and her writing is, quite simply, romantic comedy genius. She always gives me exactly what I’m looking for when I sit down with one of her smart and witty romcoms, and it’s this is why she’s become a favorite author of mine.
I absolutely loved everything about Gabe and Lily—from their charmingly awkward meet-cute to their sweet ending in the epilogue, this was a couple whose ride I was happy to be on. Their chemistry was instantaneous, sparking right off the page and practically crackling in the air around them. This couple was positively electric together, and Rendell did an incredible job of capturing that chemistry and conveying it to the reader. They were just so naughty together, and as is always the case with Rendell’s writing, this was a seriously hot and sexy story! I feel in love right along with Gabe and Lily. They were that couple, the one you can’t help but root for, the one you want together as much as they want to be together. In my mind, there just was no other way for them to end up but together. I wouldn’t exactly call this an insta-love situation, but this relationship definitely moved fast and that was exactly how I wanted it for them. They had their share of issues to sort through and deal with, though, so it wasn’t exactly smooth sailing the whole way, but I found that I really enjoyed this relationship’s build up. The side characters were fun, and they added dimension and depth, rounding out this story from something fantastic into something truly special. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention The General, Lily’s pet parrot. Hands down, he’s my favorite pet ever written, and I was laughing audibly at the things that came out of this brilliant bird’s mouth.
Do You Feel It Too? was romantic, sexy and sweet, and I sighed, smiled, swooned and snort laughed my way through it from cover-to-cover. I loved absolutely everything about this fantastic book, and I finished it with a blush on my cheeks and a full, happy heart. Do You Feel It Too? by Nicola Rendell gets five smooches from me!
~ Danielle Palumbo, Red Cheeks Reads
Hands down my favorite Nicola Rendell book yet! It has the best secondary characters ever! #GeneralsArmy I’m starting the fan club ASAP! But the story….is ever better! Bless Your Heart, you haven’t read it yet!?! (Purses lips and begins The Glare)
The chemistry between these two is off the charts insane. Clothes burning off with a look kind of insane. The relationship may not be what either is looking for but they can’t help themselves.
The plot is filled with fun times and even better adventures. Listen carefully…(uncontrolled snickering errors as I type that) Watch out for unexpected surprises. Be on the look out for swarthy villians! ( I lost one. He’s mine!)
Do You Feel It Too has all the feels by the way! The diving into a new situation. Falling fast for someone new with an inexplicable connection. An intensity rivaled only by your favorite historical couples. Deep painful heartache. Joy, an all encompassing joy.
Yes, I feel it too!

Gabe Powers, 39, hosts a ghost and urban legend TV show. While filming in Savannah, Georgia, he spots local audio technician Lily Jameson, 35, and is instantly smitten.
I adored how Gabe was pretty much all in once he met Lily. He never wavered on his feelings, and he was upfront with her. He also had some smooth moves. And then he totally rocked a swoonworthy date. Gabe was an easy-going good guy. And it was refreshing that while he’d toured the world and had a full and exciting life, he wasn’t a manwhore or player.
While I side-eyed their lack of safe sex practices considering they’d just met and had a time limit on their relationship, their evident chemistry helped smooth that hiccup, and their sultry encounters were pretty smoking hot. This story has steam; it has romance.
And it also has humor. The General had me laughing out loud. He was a fabulous comedic edition to the tale. I couldn’t get enough of him. Then combine the General and Gabe…and Gabe and Ivan…well those pairing catapulted Gabe to total book boyfriend status. I love when the hero is put in a ‘challenging’ position and he shines.
The only part I didn’t care for is when he thinks about getting Lily pregnant and she seems to get caught up in it too. I’m not a fan of coitus claiming like that; it’s too easy to get lost in the moment. Deciding to have a child should be a thought-out discussion between two consenting, committed adults when they aren’t in the throws of passion.
Never the less, while their relationship progressed pretty fast, I didn’t have a hard time picturing them long term because there are plenty of scenes that showed them working together, which is essential to a lasting couple. There wasn’t any kind of miscommunication, and Gabe was supportive and encouraging of Lily while feeling and finding something with her that he hadn’t before. For the most part, the strengths of their relationship shined through. This is a great ‘love as a journey’ romance that avoids many tired plot clichés and character stereotypes. And no OW/OM at all…yay!
Finally, I should note that the premise with Gabe’s myths and mysteries job (an original one at that) attracted me to this story. I’m not a PNR reader (and this isn’t a PNR title), but I really enjoyed the way the filming was integrated into the romance and the settings captured the mood and incorporated local lore. It was a fun angle and everything comes together nicely.
All in all, this story has an engaging premise and likeable characters. Told via Gabe and Lily’s alternating first person POV, it’s a mostly light-hearted, feel good romance. I closed the book wanting more of their adventures and more of the General!
This one was a bit different. I was glad for a storyline change. I just think it could have been shortened just a tiny bit.
Do You Feel it Too? was a cute romance story, but nothing that really hooked me. I loved how Gabe and Lily met, it was funny and innocent at the same time. I started off really interested, the characters were entertaining and the story line was good but then it just kind of sizzled out for me. There weren’t any struggles or drama throughout the book, the only thing they faced was at the very end which made the book drag in the middle for me. With the book being so focused on the stories of all the famous hauntings in Savannah, I was hoping more paranormal would have been added throughout the story. I will say that my absolute favorite interactions were with the General. I love it when the animals of the book add so much fun and comedy!
Oh, oh, oh, oh ooooh. So great story funny, hot, unpredictable with great characters, it has pets in it, baby, ghost and everything is greatly packed- written in a wonderful book. I thought that at first, I will be reading about ghosts and mystery but the reality was even better. Lily and Gabe are such wonderful characters both with big hearts and great personalities. IT is so great to see them fall for eachother and later to fight it. I was just mad when Lily let fear to let Gabe go. We could really see that she was the one for him. This book was so wonderful to read and I recommend it if you want to laugh and have a great time.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly
Do You Feel It Too? was such a lighthearted, sweet, and sexy read. I have how lighthearted her books are and they are quite funny to boot. What I liked about this book was the hero’s job is his job. I mean who comes up with a character who’s job is a ghost hunter who visits haunted places. How awesome. Anyways this book started off really god and Gabe was exploring some hauntings and meets Lily. Their relationship was so cute and hot as hell. I was so into their relationship and the writing was on point. But somewhere in there I kinda lost interest in this one. They both fell in love too fast for me and I wanted Gabe to be doing more ghost hunting with Lily.
The writing is still great and I love Nicola’s writing, but this one is okay. I still mostly enjoyed it and really liked the characters, I just didn’t get into it as much as I thought I would.
Do You Feel It Too? was a charming and humorous small town romance. Both Lily and Gabe drew me in from their first meeting where they started off with quite the bang.
Lily was such a sweet and quirky small town girl. Fun and loyal she is loved by all those that know her and quite content with her life. Gabe is her complete opposite. An adventureseeker who has a constant itch to see new places. When he landed in Georgia little did he realize how much appeal there was to small town life.
I enjoyed the witty banter between these two as the sparks literally ignited anytime they were near. The secondary characters added another enjoyable layer to this story. From the gut busting antics of the General, Daisy and her love for Southern history and the adorable Ivan I’m hoping to see more of these characters in the future.
If you’re looking for a sweet, steamy and entertaining read then Do You Feel It Too? is just the thing.
Nicola does it again. Bringing the super sexy right along with the funny. I loved this book from stem to stern. If you’re looking for a solid romance with sweetness and humor this is the book for you.
Lily, a small business owner meets her match when a handsome TV star comes to town looking to capture urban legends on film. But it is said TV star, Gabe, who is literally knocked off his feet upon meeting Lily.
A talking parrot known as The General only adds to this clever and original story and made me howl with laughter at his crazy antics and how, Lily had to “handle” him and his behavior.
With a refreshing storyline and wonderful, colorful characters, I found that I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face while reading this fantastic story.
Every interaction and description in the book was captured in a way that it almost felt whimsical and magical and brought the story into a depth that made this reader feel even more connected and fall deeper into the story as I continued to read.
Reading this book transported me into another world where nothing else existed except the story between Gabe and Lily.
This book was so incredible, I could only wish for it to be put up onto the big screen to view it as it unfolded because I just could not get enough!
I have to say, if men like Gabe Powers really do exist, like the ghosts he is chasing…it makes this skeptic want to believe!
As Always, Happy Reading!
“5/5 Beaming Brains!” – Lit-Up My Mind
A sweet, emotional, steamy hot and fun read!
Gabe and Lily’s journey was sweet, emotional, steamy hot and fun. The story beautifully well-written and the characters well developed and very compelling.
What I really loved about the story, is how well paced the romance developed. I’m rarely into speedy/instalove stories, so a built in relationship even if it takes just a couple days, makes the stories more believable; besides, the connection with the characters are a done deal for me.
The one thing that was missing or felt mislead, was the description of our hero. Gabe was all sexiness, sweetness, humble and charming. A real dream boyfriend!!
I really loved and enjoyed this book and highly recommend it!
I must say that the blurb drew me in. I love shows like the ones that Gabe does. I called him “Josh Gates throughout this entire book if that tells you anything. While I would have loved to see more of the ghost stories it was still a good book. It focuses on more the romance between Gabe and Lily. These two have instant chemistry and even crack me up! Their meet cute is adorable!
Lily is a typical southern girl. Loyal to get family and friends and works hard to make it. Gabe challenges her to do the impossible. He encourages her to do things she would’ve never thought about it. I’m not sure what I love more, their romance or the General(that bird cracked me so much!)
I’ve only read one other book by Nicola Rendell so far and after the hurly-burly, whirlwind of Shimmy Bang Sparkle, I was eager to get my hands on Do You Feel It Too?
This was one of the sweetest, funniest stories I’ve read this year. I flipping loved all the characters and that’s putting it mildly.
W.C Fields once said that you should never work with kids or animals because they are scene stealing and completely unpredictable. He may have been right, because baby Ivan (queue cutey smiles) and ‘the General’ certainly did do that. Amusingly so, and with total aplomb.
But, that didn’t mean that Lily and Gage were left out of the limelight, far from it. They had plenty of spellbinding scenes of their own. In fact, every second they were together was a wonderful, sweet, swoon or downright sexy time. Gage has got a bit of a filthy tongue and knows how to use it. Lily was putty in his hands, and after barely a second. Gage was the same.
Gage is a serial thrill-seeker, he has his own show and travels the world investigating different mysteries and mythologies from the jungles of the Amazon to the shores of Loch Ness. He’s a star and Lily?
She’s just a down-home girl, with her feet planted firmly in the Savannah soil she grew up in, she knows that no matter what he says, Gage would never truly be happy with her.
These two had so many little exploits, and I loved each and every one. The hardest made me want to hug Lily hard. I wanted them to make it, they were just so perfect for each other.
This book was a perfect slice of heaven. If you’re feeling down and want to get out of those blues then this will do the trick. If you just want a happy read, then look no further.
I can’t recommend this book highly enough.
It deserves to be made into a movie so everyone can share this ‘aaahhhh’ feeling.
From the very first pages of Do You Feel It Too? I knew this was going to be one of those books I’d regret reading in one sitting. I wanted to pace myself and savor it but this story was so well written and funny, I just couldn’t help myself and it was over before I knew it. I loved the main characters, Gabe and Lily, and their flirty dialogue and the smart quips had me laughing and sighing throughout the story. Set in Savannah, the city was almost a character in itself, and with so many Southern idioms and historical references I fell more and more love with this story!
“I had never wanted some ordinary romance—what woman did? I had always wanted to be swept off my feet. And maybe that’s why now I really did feel as though I was falling, falling, falling.”
Handsome Gabe Powers is the host of a very popular reality TV show, The Powers of Suggestion, that features him traveling around the world dispelling urban legends and solving mysteries. He’s based in LA, but only lives there about four months out of the year. When he’s sent to Savannah, in search of haunted houses and ghosts, he sees Lily and feels an unexplained attraction towards her. Their meeting becomes a comedy of errors, a hysterical “meet-cute” that is worthy of a Hollywood RomCom. Gabe’s happy to realize Lily doesn’t know who he is, or that he’s famous.
“In order to turn fear into excitement, all you have to do is breathe.”
Lily Jameson has a busy and content life; she runs her own audio business, Sounds Good, and the only thing missing is a man in it, but she’s had some bad luck in that department. Her sister, Daisy, is a single mother to Ivan, an adorable baby, that Lily helps co-parent as she likes to say. She inherited her grandmother’s finicky and intelligent African grey parrot, named the General, and he occupies a lot of her time and attention. When she’s offered a job as an audio technician, from a Hollywood producer for a show investigating ghosts, Lily takes it. That’s when she finds out who Gabe Powers really is. These two start working together and Gabe can’t resist recording Lily and her running commentary. It’s obvious Lily’s a natural in front of the camera and it seems it was destined to be.
“If the world is the oyster, then you’re the pearl. And I want you to see that I’m willing to change my plans if that’s what it’s going to take.”
These two have white hot chemistry, which takes even them by surprise. Gabe is convinced he’s met The One, and has no intention of letting Lily slip through his fingers. Having grown up as an Army brat, moving and living all over the States, Gabe’s feeling as if he’s found his home. Lily has no idea how their relationship would work, she loves her life in Savannah and feels deep rooted to it, she just can’t drop everything and travel the world with Gabe.
“There’s a big difference between playing it safe and playing it scared, Lily.”
I know everyone will love this story and this couple. But be prepared to be amazed and fascinated by The General, he almost steals the story!
