After raging ramped up thrills and excitements, looks like main, AND wonderful character, of Author Jeff Carson’s Mystery Thriller Series, David Wolf, is now set to begin yet another journey that I SO look forward to taking with him. VERY nostalgic ending of Book #13, and NO NO…NO spoilers. Worth the read for sure to find out yourself!! Every time I finish another book in this series I am left overwhelmed with a fullness in my mind, to the brim and overflowing, and I assess for days after the ending. I feel like I am thinking about family members, and their ongoing lives, and they have become a part of me. Some fascinating reading in those page turner pages, in Divided Sky, that SKILLED Author Jeff Carson fills with his finely honed craft of masterfully used words. Mystery, intrigue, action, edge of the seat reading, and I could go on and on, but I am sure by now you get my point, that this Mystery Thriller Series is simply put…..NOT.TO.BE MISSED BOOK!!! Kudos to Author Jeff Carson for such a wonderful series!! Made this reader’s top list!!! ENJOY!
Carson does not disappoint. His characters are well-drawn.
I try to read all of the David Wolf books
Enjoyable part of a series.
Wolf has kicked his drinking problem from the last book. He tries to help the ex-sheriff, Hal, and his nephew, Jesse. A prominent arms dealer has been murdered and Jesse and his friend, Kyle, have YouTube videos showing them shooting a facsimile of the man. Now, Jesse is on the run and Kyle is missing.
Dave is trying to help, but Hal is a drunk and Jesse is not what he seems.
Another great Wolf novel! Keep on writing!!
Jeff Carson has once again written as the Brits like to say an “unputdownable” murder mystery featuring Chief Detective David Wolf. The story is set in the fictional ski resort of Rocky Point Colorado. Carson weaves a believable tale of divided loyalties, love, and friendship. He is an underappreciated author whose books are thankfully still within my budget. I live in Mexico and don’t have access to on-line lending libraries and happily purchase his books as soon as they are released. No pressure Jeff, but I hope you are working on Book #14. Cheers Lynda L. Lock, Isla Mujeres Murder Mysteries.
Wolf is like the alpha of a pack of wolves, a leader, and watching and caring about others. This came thru in this story with an incident of a year ago, he also questions at times, what was going on with a certain meeting he was to be at. He is an investigator, and true to his profession wanted justice done.
He wanted to be there for his friend, not knowing how far in the past year he had fallen to the whiskey bottle. He is there for the young kids, and wants them to have a future, when they make mistakes, he wants to help.
A plot that involves the lives of many, and none will be the same after.
As to the meeting that he didn’t show up for, how did that turn out.
Outside of too many cuss words I thought in this story, the plot itself was good. As always the author never disappoints the readers.
