Lisa Kleypas is another of my favorite writers. Always entertaining and can’t wait for her next book.
One of my favorites
My all time favorite historical romance. Sebastian and Evie are the epitome of opposites attract and their love story is both steamy and sweet as they grow into their unconventional marriage. It is a novel I can always pull out and read…again and again.
Quick, fun read
For a fluffy romance this was pretty good. I could have done without the sex scenes.
The Wallflower series are fun and entertaining Regency romances.
Greatest book ever!
This is absolutely one of my all time favorite books and my favorite from Lisa Kleypas. The heroine has been invisible most of her life. Terrible family. She stutters (I think a first!). Her father is dying. Enter the broken and damaged hero who starts out marrying her for money. The story could have easily lapsed into unbelievability – but …
A predictable book and I do like Lisa Kleypas just not enough of the female chararacter development.
Good plot, believable characters. Very descriptive of London at the time. Look forward to reading the other books of the series.
Great loved it. Read all the wallflower books.
A favorite author who delivers her usual quality entertainment.
I liked this story, just not one of my favorites.
Wallflowers are unpredictable. She was considered a wallflower.
This is more steamy than my usual reads. I’d have preferred more plot and less sex, but the concept is terrific.
Historical romantic fiction about a timid heroine who runs away from guardians who mistreat her for her inheritance. She runs to a notorious rogue who is in desparate financial trouble and they enter into a marriage of convenience that very slowly changes. I also like the sequel about their son who is running the family business and meets a very …
This is my favorite couple of the series. Completely recommend.
Kleypas is always a good read.
Although the idea of two people having to marry but not knowing each other has been done a lot before this version was entertaining. I liked the strength of Evangeline. The need for her to marry is well developed. Sebastian’s character changes are also understandable. It was predictable in a good way with better characters and a more …
Love Lisa’s period books
