Lisa Kleypas is one of the best writers out there and this novel does not disappoint. It is nice to read about the next generation. Her characters are well rounded and the dialogue is always well written and entertaining.
This author never fails to create characters who make you laugh and root for their happiness with all your heart. She takes a shy girl and gives her an unrepentant rake who doesn’t know what hit him. Really showcases that strength comes in different forms.
Lisa Kleypas never fails to make me love her even more with each new book! The characters are thoughful, engaging, and I couldn’t put it down!
A pleasant read.
I am a huge Lisa Kleypas fan, and Devil in Winter didn’t disappoint. Evie and Sebastian are not the common romantic pair; they are unexpected characters with interesting perspectives. This was one of many Kleypas favorites. It’s also a fun treat to see them resurface as minor characters in Devil in Spring.
