Sadie doesn’t know she’s special—or that she could die at any moment. I loved the book ,to hard to put down. I’ve read the book a few times, and still feel like I’m in the story a long with the characters.
I read this book in one sitting. I couldn NOT put it down. I had to know the answers to all of Sadie’s questions. Still so many more unanswered yet. Cant wait to read the next book in the series
I love the original plot of this book. It’s so interesting I can’t wait to continue reading the other books and see how the characters develop. Also, the love between the characters is cute!
This is a great series that tends to keep me on the edge of my seat. This authors writing style is pretty original and has built a cool world that is a great to place to escape reality. Be prepared to sometimes guess twists but more often than not. Highly recommend!
I was proof reading this book for my daughter (for when she’s old enough). This book was fun. I enjoyed using my imagination to create the world in my head along with actual memories of the area in California in which part of this world was placed. I wanted to continue reading even though I should have been sleeping.
I recommend this book and …
If you want a book that will sweep you off your feet and leave you wanting more, then this is it! I recommend this book for ages 13-17.
Great book
I enjoyed reading this and will add the rest of the series to my reading list.
Builds interest in following books.
I enjoyed reading this clean romance. The characters Rayne and Sadie are fun to get to know. I am still confused on where exactly Rayne is from and how it truly relates to life on earth. I think he is from another realm. Maybe it will become clear in the next book.
A little too cheesy for my liking. It was mainly centered around romance when I was honestly expecting something a little more adventuresome. The world building was ok, but I would have liked to see some more detail put into the system. The last thing is that I was able to guess every “plot twist” in the book. Such as the whole daughter part. It …
Good characters.
I had mixed feelings about this book. I liked the characters but it seemed to me the story line was going to be just like other books I had read. Then it wasn’t like any other book. I liked it very much – so much that I just finished purchasing the second book in the series. Good read.
Slow read
It was an interesting story but just too far young adult for my tastes.
While it is definitely a romance, I love the unique way the author goes about building the characters.
Looking forward to the next book…
I so far love it ,no bad stuff ,but 70% into it have not finished it yet.
This is one of those books that pulls you in and keeps you up way to late at night. Then as soon as you finish it, you are lookin gfor the next one. The cover of the book first caught my attention but the storyline, characters and world building kept me reading until I reached the last page. Rarely have I ever reread a series but this one called …
