This series has come to a soul crushing, heartfelt end and I’m going to miss it so much. I started this right after my breakdown after book two , my emotions were all over the place and this series is once again SOUL CRUSHING HEARTBREAKING BEAUTIFUL
Dawn of Eve is Dawn’s story, 22 years after the post apocalyptic world and is taken captive while she meets Salem in a basement with zero answers and zero trust. Things take a complete 180 when they are released, its weird, it suspicious but dawn follows her damn heart over anything. She is put under a lot or pressure leading a Resistance group and fulfilling a prophecy she doesn’t know how to fulfill being only human.. or is she? I absolutely loved that we got Darwin heartfelt ending and more of Dawn’s three fathers 19 years after Evie fulfilled her part of the prophecy.
“A dark angel, made of brawn and noncturnal beauty”
No more words to this review because you need to go into it blind, read the blurb. The entire series is action packed, suspense, erotica love, THE WHOLE SHABANG
Dawn of Eve is the final book in the Eve trilogy, it takes place 22 years list-apocalypse. I was really hesitant about starting this trilogy because sci-fi and world apocalypse books were out of my comfort zone, but I am so glad I took a chance on this trilogy and read every last word!! Dawn’s courage and strength is out of this world and the chemistry between her and Salem will leave you panting! I am leaving spoilers out of this review because they would give this book or trilogy justice! Pam will leave you on your toes scrambling to turn the page with all of the twist and turns but it is worth it in the end and the ending will knock you off your feet!
This one was one I really had to think about because I loved this series something fierce. Pam expertly blended paranormal, dystopian, erotic romance, and sci-fi to make this epic series. This book was not as much of a shout from the roof tops five star for me. I found myself constantly comparing Dawn and Salem to Eve and her guys. I mean how can you even compare to such an epic love?
This book in the series follows Dawn 22 years after the virus began. She is attempting to fulfill the prophecy that she is the one to bring an end to the hell that they’ve been living since it all began. This book drops you right into the action and keeps you on the edge the entire time. You will feel all the rage, and get choked up at times. I wanted to kill Salem at times like bloodily mangle his body into an unrecognizable pile of mush while simultaneously hugging Dawn. This book will make you feel all the things and you will not be able to put it down.
Dawn was definitely her own person and not a carbon copy of Eve. Attempting to fulfill the prophecy in her own way under the epic shadow of her mothers life. While Salem is just trying to live his life and protect his own. I loved getting to see more of the guys from the previous books and their relationship with Dawn. 3 super protective fathers what could go wrong with that meet the boy moment lol.
This book tied everything up nicely and I think oddly rounded out the series in a way I wasn’t expecting but it worked for it. It did feel a bit rushed at the end though.
TW: non con, kidnapping, murder, cheating
This series has consumed my life for the last week and I’m kinda sad to see it come to it end. I’ve lost a lot of sleep over this apocalyptic journey and it was totally worth it. Pam never fails to prove to me why I come back to her stories time and time again.
Pam finished off this series is a deliciously erotic way… Dawn and Salem’s connection leapt off the pages. Their link was instant, indescribable and undeniable. I’m not typically a fan of “insta-love/connection” storylines, but Pam made it work for me with this book. With these characters it just WORKED.Their paranormal link was believable and Pam made it impossible for me not to love and root for their relationship from the very beginning.
DAWN OF EVE is fast paced and takes place 22 yrs post- apocalypse. She literally throws the reader right into the action within the first couple chapters and doesn’t let up. I continuity was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next.
Salem was the perfect BBF… he was a mysterious PRN being with secrets in his eyes. Secrets I instantly craved to know. And his mouth… oh the dirty and swoon- worthy things he said
Dawn was very much the stubborn daughter of Eve I had hoped she’d be. Pam wrote her exactly as I had hoped she’d be.
“You’ve never seen the sun.” My heart ached. His eyes opened and roamed over my hair. “I imagine it looks a lot like this.” Lifting a fiery lock, he tenderly stroked the strands. “And this.” He traced a finger around one of my eyes and lingered on the outer corner. “My Dawn.” Your eyes are addictive…so blinding and painful it’s like staring into a lost sunrise after twenty years of darkness.
This is an addictive dystopian, paranormal, post-apocalyptic world that will consume your life. If you’ve read books 1 and 2 in this series, u’ll definitely want to devour this book and read how Dawn saves the world.
5 stars
So this one was slightly bittersweet after the finish of the previous book.
But I needed this to help heal my broken heart.
So this story takes place roughly 20 years later and Dawn the daughter of Eve is now full-grown and the leader of the human resistance.
After a mission in Canada Dawn finds herself a prisoner of some unknown element locked in a concrete box with a fanged stranger.
Her new cellmate is Salem son of Elaine and though he has fangs he’s not technically a hybrid but instead due to his mother’s genetics he’s like Dawn’s fathers Jessie, Rourke and Michio.
So initially I really liked Salem a lot.
He’s hot, dominant and knows exactly what he wants.
He and Dawn were always on the cards and their connection upon meeting here is almost instantaneous, So much so he’s determined to keep her.
But this story is far from straight forward and there are plenty of secrets, heartache, and betrayal on the horizon.
And there were seriously times here when I wanted to completely annihilate Salem for his omissions and silence.
In particular one incident, that man left me so pissed at him.
Like lividly angry chuck my kindle across the room want to lop it off pissed.
This one for me I thought read more like a romance than previous books in the series.
That’s not a criticism only an observation.
This managed to wrap the series up nicely answering questions and giving some final closure.
So yeh I did enjoy this one a lot and it thankfully managed to heal some of the hurt left behind previously.
This series has been one heck of a ride and though it has not always been easy I’m glad I get to leave thing’s on a good note with a smile on my face and some happy thoughts.

You know those books that make you stay up until 4 am just to get to the end? That was this book. I stayed up until 4 am because the emotional toll this book was having on me was too much to put down and go to sleep. Nope. I HAD to stay up and keep turning that page.
Dawn of Eve was everything I hoped for and nothing I expected. It had tough shoes to fill following Dead of Eve and Blood of Eve, but because those two stories set up the entire world for this third installment, it unfolded beautifully. Dawn is both fierce and also sensitive. She is hard and soft. Her willingness and determination to fulfill the prophecy is put to the test when Salem is introduced to her life. He is both the best and the worst thing for her. Read to find out if they will save one another or if it’ll all burn to the ground. You won’t regret picking it up.
Thank you, Pam Godwin, for the perfect ending to this beautiful trilogy.
What a way to end this series Eve trilogy and I must say that it is a can’t put it down book. I am sad it is over but so happy that I had the opportunity to read it.
Start’s off about 19 years after the apocalypse. At only nineteen years old Dawn is the leader of the resistance and is trying not to get herself killed, plus her three fathers are there by her side. She is the prophecy born to save mankind. Her mother Eve cured the world of the aphids and now it is Dawns turn to rid the world of the biting and blood sucking hybrids. She is just a girl trying to survive and figure out what she is to do to save the people. There are things that she doesn’t understand yet and when trapped will she survive the trap and will she keep her heart intact.
The characters are well developed and complex. You fall in love Dawn and you will cheer and cry with her. Some of the old characters are back, yes Jesse, Roarke and Michio are back, but there are new characters you will fall in love with and then want to kill. Trust me I went through so many emotions when I was reading. I laughed, I cried, I cheered and I got mad a few times. Pam writing broke my heart but then rebuilt it
Salem is the sexy man who will take your breath away one second and then hate him in the next second. When Dawn finds herself with the dark and mysterious Salem the story takes off into a whirlwind of twists, turns, and heart stopping moments. Things aren’t always black and white, expect the unexpected and brace yourself for passion and heart-thrilling action. The sexual innuendos made me smile and intimacy made me burn. I loved that Pam wrote this story is in Dawn’s point of view. The ending was perfect for the story line. I can’t say enough about how much I have enjoyed this book and the series as a whole. It is truly unforgettable and will stay with me for a long time to come so please check them out you will not be disappointed.
I was received this book for my honest review.
I can’t say enough about this amazing series but, you should read it in order to fully understand what’s going on. Perfect ending to this awesome book. The darkness in me feel head over heels in love with every word. Looking forward more books by Pam.
Such a good end of series book. Couple of twists and turns that I didn’t think would happen. Pam is one of my top favorite authors, so far I have loved every one of her books!
If I could give ten stars, I would, a five star rating doesn’t deem appropriate for this masterpiece. A buffet of all things deliciously dark and naughty. I loved this book doesn’t seem right. All the words and yet none of them seem good enough for this review.
This book. This series has pierced my dark heart and attached to my soul. All my buttons have been pushed. My heart has been chewed up and spat out, it’s been shredded and then slowly pieced back together again. After reading the second book, there was a gaping hole in my chest. How will this unforgettable series end? How do I go on after reading these spectacular words. I formed a bond with these characters, Darwin the dog included. This new, devastating world has been vividly written, brought to life, how was I to let go? I’m afraid of giving spoilers, so I have to be vague in this review, it’s hard because I have so much to say.
I had no idea how I would feel going into the third book, it was like taking a breath and not letting go. My chest squeezed with angst. Dawn of Eve, the cure for mankind. A huge burden for one girl. The world plagued with brain wash and fangs. How can one girl save the world from this menacing destruction? Each book contained eroticism, but I think this one almost topped the second book. Dawn of Eve is held captive with a man that has defied the laws of logic. Captured. But entrapped my his heat and humor.
“He looked at me as if he didn’t just know who I was but knew my very soul and intended to shred it on a level I didn’t even know existed.”
The world is in the hands of one girl and she’s falling desperately in love with a man that could possibly be her destruction. I held my kindle in a death grip. I wanted to jump up and run. Their connection was electricity, a fire that no amount of water could tame. The tension between these two took my air. The world fell away. A deliciously dangerous connection.
“Behold the incarnation of danger in all its infernal glory, a predator on the cusp of breaking his tenuous leash, his focus centered on his fluttery-hearted prey.”
I’ll just keep going if I don’t stop myself. This series couldn’t have ended any better. The last 15% squeezed my chest. I was angry, sad, hurt, I had already cried for different reasons, but I didn’t think I was ready for what was going to happen. A twisted, epic end. The road was filled with heart-breaking moments. Dark humor. A soul-crushing, spiritual journey. Every emotion was brought out by this book/series. There’s not enough words to express my love. These characters will live on in my heart.
“Love isn’t just vital. It’s what vital means.”
What an amazing way to end this trilogy. This book was so well written. Loved seeing the completion of the story. Pam Godwin never ceases to amaze me with her writing skills and this entire series was excellent.
Well I didn’t think that this trilogy could get any better.
The Dawn of Eve is an amazing ride through life after Eve and beyond.
Dawn is of age now and we find her continuing to try to fulfil the prophecy of Eve. But there are other plans for her and she finds herself trapped and with a man.
The pull and the relationship between Eve and Salem is hot but at the back of your mind you’re wondering who he is and where he is from.Finding out these facts brings out a wealth of emotion and here begins the twists and turn and I never expected thats.
Ive cried,Ive been angry ,I have laughed and smiled and this book is a joy to read.
The books just get better and better.
I haven’t mentioned Roark,Jessie and Michio, they are tree, larger than life and with lots to say and do as you would expect.
This was a read of many emotions but the over riding one was of wow this is so good.
5 easy stars
OMG- this series turned out to be one of my favorites ever! The story continues some 20 years after Eve’s death and focuses on Dawn and her prophesied saving of the world- problem is Dawn is fully human and has no idea how she is supposed to save mankind. Jesse, Michio, and Roark are still together and are fantastic fathers showing Dawn love and support. Dawn is a strong female character. Enter Salem-a hot, alpha male, who had been searching for Dawn. There are twists and surprises throughout this story as Dawn struggles to fulfill the propheay surrounding her. The ending is truly inspirational as Dawn learns the true sacrifice it will take to save mankind. The story wraps up in a truly happy ending. I hated to see it end!
This is the brilliant, edge of your seat conclusion to this series. This is book three and this series must be read in order. Dawn and Salem’s chemistry is atomic! With a story that is gripping, intense, dark, suspenseful, dangerous, raw and steamy, you will be completely swept up in this dystopian delight. I am posting a totally voluntary and completely truthful review.
