Once you get into this book it is a great story
The characters were so great and the chemistry between the two main characters was scorching hot.
I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it.
I received a free copy of this book via Hidden Gems and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Second in the “Paradise” series. Interesting character development resulting in getting to know them better after being introduced to them in the first book. Hoping there’s a third book in this series!
This was a pretty good read I thought the storyline was good and it held my interest all the way through. I liked Eddie and Paige together and though they were complete opposites they suited each other. This was a good book I liked it.
Another Enjoyable Read by this author
Book 2 was even better than book 1. The author handled the difference in their social gap beautifully. Rough edges are smoothed out as well as acceptance of who and what they were and made their lives come together in the end.
Story did not work for me
Dangerous Paradise is the second book in the Paradise series. It is the story of Eddie and Paige.
As with the first book in this series I thought there were some good parts and then some that I just had a hard time believing the author actually thought would work. For me this book just did not work and I could not finish it.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Eddie own the elite nightclub in Manhattan, his wealthy, hot muscular body, blonde hair blue eyes and fights I in the underground. Paige comes from a wealthy hotel chain and wants to update the nightclubs, can she get Eddie to help.
Thank you for allowing me to review your book.

Barbara Nolan, ‘Dangerous Paradise’.
As an ARC reader I received this book for free. And promised an honest review. Here it is; unfortunately a bit later than planned. English isn’t my first language. Sorry for errors.
Rating: 4,3 stars (of 5).
In general: Love despite enormous gap in social background .
Main characters:
– Eddie Morgan.
Owner of ‘Beyond Paradise’, an exclusive Manhattan nightclub. Selfmade man. Wealthy, living in a penthouse. In his free time he’s a biker and a redoubted fighter in the illegal circuit.
– Paige Drake.
Her family is ‘old money’. She wants to update the Drake Hotels chain and tries to learn how to run modern bars by visiting Eddie’s famous, successful nightclub a few times.
Eddie and Paige meet in his nightclub after Paige got involved in an incident with some of her rich, drunken friends. Eddie solved the problem quickly but ruined his favorite t-shirt. Paige enters his office to thank him and admires his tattooed, chiseled torso when he’s changing shirts. And Eddie likes the sharp, gorgeous redhead. So they meet again, she rides on his Harley and they kiss, but Paige (dressed as a biker chick) tells him he will not fit in her social class. Eddie reacts angry and she dares him to visit a Drake dinner party.
Then the author, Barbara Nolan, describes the development of their relationship. It’s complicated by misinterpretations of the things they say and both having the same problems keeping the Russian mob out of their business. Paige while updating the Drake Hotel bars and Eddie trying to keep his nightclub free of drug dealers.
The story has an interesting plot with hot sex scenes, exciting action and unexpected developments. A page turner. But for me it wasn’t quite clear how an intelligent, sassy and confident woman can be manipulated into accepting a marriage proposal of a man she not really loves. Accepting his help in her firm? Oke, but marriage??
All in all, for me the book was a pleasure to read.
R. Huiszoon.
Eddie is a successful club owner who keeps the demons of his past at bay by participating in illegal underground fighting. Paige is a buttoned up high society heiress who has something to prove to her family. Eddie and Paige couldn’t be more different but they share a desire and passion for each other that is off the charts hot. This gritty romantic suspense storyline held me captive from the first page. I couldn’t put it down.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.
The great character and plot development kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book! I look forward to reading more from this author!
