Daisy McDare is back with a new case to crack!
Murder once again strikes the quaint little tourist town of Cozy Creek. This time the victim is an arrogant independent film director who has a bad habit of making of enemies.
As the set decorator for the movie, Daisy is in a unique position to do some serious sleuthing. But she can’t solve the murder alone.
She enlists her cupcake baking best … her cupcake baking best friend Samantha, wise cracking Granny Annie, private investigator crush Gavin, and her lovable West Highland Terrier Shamus to find the killer.

This light mystery just became noire murder!
Daisy McDare has been hired to decorate the set of “Nothing Bundt Homicide” which is being filmed in Cozy Creek. The set of the light mystery becomes much darker when a despised member of the movie company is found murdered. Daisy knows better than to wait for the bumbling Detective Crumple to solve …
If you’re just looking for fluff you might enjoy Daisy McDare and the Deadly Directorial Affair. The characters are flat. The mystery is solved on a hunch. No real clues to follow and the mention of food in every chapter gets ridiculous.
Another fun story. Once again, Daisy was working on a job when someone was murdered. The clues were there and I got them, but I still picked the wrong person. I enjoyed the humor in the story as well as the personal relationship between Daisy and Gavin, and their dogs. Caroline Shively did a wonderful job with the narration and bringing the …
4 Star review Daisy McDare and The Deadly Directorial Affair (Daisy McDare #3) by KM Morgan
Audio Review:
Book three of the series and these books are getting better with each addition. The narrator did a good job voicing the various characters.
This was an entertaining cozy mystery that I enjoyed listening to. Cozy Creek has another murder …

That’s what I love about short cozies! Semi believable, good sleuthing, no explicit erotica, no graphic violence, and the baddie gets caught and punished. Loved this book!
Daisy McDare and the Deadly Directorial Affair, my fourth read/listen from author K.M. Morgan, although I own sixteen of her books I’d never gotten around to reading one until I read The Deadly Floral Affair. Each book has been better than the one before, a well-written clean cozy mystery. Since I own both the Kindle & Audible editions I was able …
Low Budget Murder
Daisy could be considered deadly to a donut but comes in second place to Detective Crumple in her relish for that sweet. Not the book to read if trying to diet! Daisy again adds the clues and uses a stray phrase plus her direct eye contact lie-meter to solve the crime. Once more Caroline Shively’s bright and cheerful …
