It’s not easy to impress a Dalton girl… and sexy KC Cohen, the mortgage company billionaire who sees her as something more than a cowgirl.
Knox Channing Cohen has achieved his goal—to build his own billion-dollar business from the ground up and without the help of his wealthy family. He’s also managed to break free of his cowboy origins and strike out on his own, far away from the prestigious ranch he grew up on. But when he receives word of his father’s death, he’s back in the saddle… the last place he wants to be.
Kizzy is dragged along as Knox’s assistant to help him deal with the family business. When she learns he’s not only loaded but a damn cowboy too, she can’t be more blindsided. Now she can see all the carved muscle on the man might not be from hitting the gym so much as hard work. Knox wants to sell out the ranch, but seeing the dark-haired, blue-eyed beauty at home around horses has him second-guessing his beliefs about the country… and wondering if he can remind her that she’s a cowgirl at heart.

OMG. What a great, wonderful read. This is the last book of the Dalton family in Texas.
Kizzy is the last unmarried member of the Dalton clan in Texas. She just wants to make her own place in the family, and moves away to the big city. She doesn’t want to marry just a cowboy. When she gets a job at Cohen Mortgage, she is the personal assistant to the owner, KC Cohen. Little does she know that he’s the son of the owner of Amazing Grace ranch. She answers the phone on the way to a meeting and finds out that KC’s father has just died. She doesn’t know what to do. She really had no idea that he grew up with money.
KC Cohen is from money, but has made his company from scratch. When Kizzy tells him about his father’s death, he’s devastated. At first he thinks his Uncle John was trying to manipulate him into coming home, but the look Kizzy has on her face tells him otherwise.
She cancels both of their appointments for a week so KC can go home and take care of the ranch business.
Will Kizzy be able to take what she knows about KC and recognize her feelings, or will she run?
Can KC figure out his feelings, make decisions about the ranch and his company, and act on what he wants?
This is the BEST series I have read in a long time and I don’t know how Ms. Petrova can top it.

It was amazing
This Dalton Series, men or women, is just the best. I do have my favorites, this one now being one of them.
I like that Kizzie was able to leave the ranch and follow her own way. Working in Houston for a rich and handsome self-made billionaire let’s her explore what she really wants for her own life. She’s strong, smart and dedicated, a huge help to KC in the office, and also when he suddenly gets called home to the life he thought he left behind forever.
A ton of twists and turns that were so surprising, life altering and kept me reading straight through till the end. Fast paced and packed so full of feelings from one end of the spectrum to the other, I don’t think you’ll be able to put this down until the Happy ending.
Sometimes you end up doing a 360°, finding out you were exactly where you needed to be in the first place. Having to experience the long road, is very often a necessity to make an informed decision with complete confidence!
Just loved Kizzy and KC’s journey with it’s strong characters, great storyline, fast pace and a beautiful HEA to give you that happy sigh of completion, yet wishing for a bit more goodness lol.
A really good romance with a cowboy and a cowgirl!
Kizzy is finally ready to leave for her new job… that isn’t on the family ranch… and she’s a Dalton! But it’s what she wants and has trained for and she’s doing it. Knox is Kizzy’s new boss but he can’t seem to get her out of his thoughts that have nothing to do with his business. But when a family tragedy strikes, Kizzy is the only one he thinks of to help him deal with his new reality. And the longer they stay on his family ranch, the more Kizzy is fighting her feeling for Knox. The problem is whether with everything going on can they find a way to make it work between them?
This is the twelveth book in the Dalton Boys series and is the last in this series. It can be read as a standalone but it deals with the Dalton family, so there are always characters from other books that make appearances.

This is the 12th story of The Dalton Boys. You don’t have to read the previous stories to understand and enjoy this story, but once you get into this story, you will want to read the rest because they are all over each other in the series. Talk about one huge family that isn’t boring and stick together like super glue.
Keziah, or better known as Kizzy, is the last unmarried one of the Texas bunch. Everyone is trying to fix her up with any single cowboy within hundreds of miles. She just can’t stand it anymore so she leaves for the city and gets a job as a personal assistant to KC Cohen, a mortgage company billionaire. She becomes his left hand in all things. When he has to go visit his father on his deathbed, she goes with him. When she realizes who his father is, it is like something her sisters would have loved to set up for her.
KC Cohen is a billionaire of his own making. He didn’t want to be the rancher like his father and struck out on his own and was very successful. He has already gone through the phase where he had a new girl on his arm as often as he wanted, and he doesn’t like that anymore. Once his new PA shows up, he realizes that she is everything that he would want in a woman, sexy, smart, independent and organized. He can’t seem to do anything without her being involved. When his father dies and leaves him the ranch, which for him to inherit, he has to personally run the ranch. Now he knows that Kizzy is the perfect woman for him because now he knows that not only is she the perfect city slicker woman for him, but she knows her way around a ranch as good as he does.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more twists and turns Kizzy works for Knox and Knox the chemistry between them was hot and steamy, as cowboy and cowgirl.

First off just let me say that this is my favorite author and I would LOVE to give her stories more than 5 stars! I just get completely engrossed in the stories that she weaves. I can’t turn the pages fast enough. Unfortunately though the story ends that much faster. My poor e-reader was really heating up with this one! This story was just like a movie in my mind. I could really see Kizzy leaving home and going to Houston. Being independent from her rather large family. Kizzy becomes the PA for the CEO of Cohen Mortgages. KC Cohen started his company from the ground up. He comes from a wealthy ranching family but he worked hard for independence himself. KC returns home after his father passes away and takes Kizzy with him. Kizzy had never thought of KC in any way but that of a boss (until she learns of his heritage. Yep, she LOVES cowboys, who can blame her!) Hold onto you seat and enjoy the ride that you will go on with this book!
I loved the dual format of this story. Getting in the characters’ mind really helps me to thoroughly understand them so much better. It is like becoming their friend and being a part of the story in the background.
Kizzy is the last of the Texas Daltons but I am REALLY hoping that there will be a spin-off of the Colorado Dalton in the future. I mean really, I can’t lose touch with this group. In “Cowgirl Miracle”, we met them and I hope to read their stories.
This is a spicy read. That being said, if you LOVE cowboys like I do, then you MUST read this story ONLY IF you are over the age of 18. While this is a part of the series, you really don’t need to read the others but why would you not. I have to go back and re-read the enough series now from start to finish with no other books in between them.
This story has a little of everything, sweet romance, sexy overbearing and frustrating alpha make and a beautiful woman who has the right heart and spirit. Thoroughly enjoying and entertaining.

This was a sweet ending to this great Family series.
Life come back is circle.
Kizzy leaves the Dalton Ranch for the big city and after years in big city she is back with her boss.
CJ is in the financial business but his country roots are there.
Their business relationship becomes a friendship during difficult times ,loss of CJ father, stress of decisions that need to be made.
Their love for the ranch and their love for each other open new chapter for them.

Kizzy is basically the black sheep of the family. The only one wanting more than life on the family ranch. She finds her place at a company she loves and enjoys the work. When her boss’s father passes away, she learns more about him and helps to save his ranch, learning a few things about him and herself along the way. The chemistry has always been there, but the love is a slow burn that takes them both by surprise. I really enjoyed this book as much as the previous ones. I can’t wait to see what Em has in store next.

The Daltons are back!
Ahhh, Kizzy’s story is finally here! She is finally escaping the country and the family she loves but is overwhelmed by. And who does she meet in the big city but a country boy who made it good…
I loved the dynamic between these two and the similar fight they had within themselves. They wanted to brush off their country roots and make something of themselves outside of their family legacy. They were doing just that but the heart and mind are not always in sync when it comes to matters of love…
Their story is sweet and steamy and full of all the drama one needs when falling in love. Throw in family and it’s as complicated as you can find!
*I happily reviewed this story
**Thank you to Booksprout
I love the story of Kizzy and KC. They make a.perfect pair. We know Kizzy of course from prior books but meeting Knox and getting to know him makes me feel all soft and gooey inside. I also like Corbin and of course getting to revisit with Jess is fun.

Kizzy left he family ranch to work in the city. Knox is her boss and owns Cohen Mortgage. Knox’s father dies and he has Kizzy go with him to settle things. They find out that there’s more to life than they thought and they might want it with each other. I really enjoyed this book.
This was a unique ending to the really great Dalton series. Kizzy leaves the Dalton Ranch for the big city of Houston to become a personal assistant to CJ, a mortgage CEO. They both axcel at business and work well together. As tragedy strikes their business relationship becomes a friendship/romance as they learn more about and support each other through the loss of CJs father and stress of decisions that need to be made.
Both Kizzy and CJ had left their country roots and are re-discovering their love for the ranch versus city and possibly, their love for each other.
This book contains great characters, some excitement and mystery, and of course some great Em Petrova romance!

Two hidden cow peeps.
Kizzy is a Dalton who’s making her own way in the world with out a cowboy, thank you very much. She’s a city girl. Not a cowgirl.
Knox is a wealthy. From his family. And from his own success. Oh, and he used to be a cowboy. So, it’s back to the ranch with Kizzy in tow.
Will they end up back in the saddle?
I’m think yes with plenty of steam along the way.
Recommend.

Another wonderful addition to The Dalton Boys series. This has sizzling chemistry, jealousy, betrayal and so much more. Keziah (Kizzy) Dalton is the last of the Dalton girls unmarried. Knox (KC) Cohen built his own business and turned it into a billion dollar company. Kizzy left her family ranch and moved to Houston to become a personal assistant to KC. The storyline was well written and kept me turning the pages. The characters were amazing and you couldn’t help but root for these two to be together.

Another well written book in the Dalton series Em’s books flow well whether they are her cowboy or military suspense books she is fast becoming a go to writer for me
As the last Texas Dalton not married Kizzy is fed up of her family matchmaking with every cowboy they come across so she flees to the city e she starts to work as assistant to K C Cohen the self made billionaire who runs his own mortgage company. Soon she becomes invaluable to him the woman who can keep his company running when he needs to be away Then disaster strikes KC father dies and he has to return to the family ranch to settle things he is intending on selling the ranch so he takes Kizzy with him to help with the paperwork. Kizzy is blindsided when she realises he is in fact a cowboy though now she wonders how she missed it with his body been from hard work not a gym. Determined to sell KC begins to rethink when he sees just how comfortable the woman he is beginning to love is on the ranch Can he convince her he is the one for her and that the ranch is the perfect place for them.
Book twelve in The Dalton Boys series a well written story with a very good storyline, the story flowed smoothly from page to page. This series just gets better with each new book. Country girl Kezziah/Kizzy Dalton and billionaire Knox Channing Cohen’s story. I enjoyed reading their story and hope there is more to come in this series. There will be a misunderstanding between them that they will need to get resolved.
