It’s not easy to impress a Dalton girl… and sexy KC Cohen, the mortgage company billionaire who sees her as something more than a cowgirl.
Knox Channing Cohen has achieved his goal—to build his own billion-dollar business from the ground up and without the help of his wealthy family. He’s also managed to break free of his cowboy origins and strike out on his own, far away from the prestigious ranch he grew up on. But when he receives word of his father’s death, he’s back in the saddle… the last place he wants to be.
Kizzy is dragged along as Knox’s assistant to help him deal with the family business. When she learns he’s not only loaded but a damn cowboy too, she can’t be more blindsided. Now she can see all the carved muscle on the man might not be from hitting the gym so much as hard work. Knox wants to sell out the ranch, but seeing the dark-haired, blue-eyed beauty at home around horses has him second-guessing his beliefs about the country… and wondering if he can remind her that she’s a cowgirl at heart.

Another great addition to the series. This is Kizzy and Knox’s story. The author once again does a fantastic job developing both her characters and story line and pulls you in with her descriptive writing and detailed scenes. It’s an emotional story filled with drama and romance. The supporting characters play a huge role and help to bring the story around. I enjoyed watching the relationship evolve and grow into love. I loved this book/series and would recommend reading.

Kizzy Dalton wants more out of her than staying around her hometown, working on the Dalton Ranch, and marrying a cowboy, so she goes to college gets her degree then gets a job as an assistant to a billionaire in a mortgage company. KC Cohen thinks she is the best assistant he has ever had, she seems to know what he needs before he needs it. The mortgage company is growing by leaps and bounds just the way KC wants it too. He is going to show his family that he can do this all without any family backing. Then one day just as they are going into their regular weekly meeting Kizzy takes a call from KC’s, uncle that his father had passed away. He needs to be at the “Amazing Grace Ranch” that night. Kizzy did not know what to do call KC out of the meeting or wait. KC had never talked about his family, little lone his family owning the most amazing ranch in all of Texas. Everyone dreamed of owning one of their horses. Kizzy waited until the meeting was over to tell KC. He did not want to believe her for the longest time. He finally ended up calling his uncle to see what happened. KC requested Kizzy go with him so she could handle mortgage company business from there. There was already an attraction developing between KC and Kizzy and only got strong with close proximity of the ranch. This book is a real page turner as there are several twist and turns that are unexpected.

Kizzy has had aspirations to leave the country all her life, she has seen more for herself than marrying a cowboy and being stuck. She loves her family but knows that she wont get what her heart desires if she stays. For KC he has made it big and has even bigger plans for his life until he is faced with his heritage and what it really means to him. Loss, disloyalty by family, and finding true partnership and love in the land bring these two together with an emotional story in a beautifully described environment. The description of the Texas land really brings the scene to the imagination and the character so engaging that you feel you know them.

The end of the Dalton series, but what an ending. A strong female character along with an equally strong male character come together for an amazing romantic story. Lots of drama and emotional past issues to overcome to reach the HEA but reach it we do. This was a wonderful Series each book a standalone but best enjoyed beginning with the first.
KC and Kizzy are both country folks who find their way in the big city and rediscover their hearts when adversity brings them back to a working ranch in the country.
Talents, independence and teamwork and romance are all uncovered. Kinda sad, kinda sweet romance

I thought that this was a good read. I liked Kizzy and KC. They had great chemistry and I thought that it was really fun watching them learn about each other and having their ideals tested along the way as the story unfolded and their relationship evolved. Another solid entry in this entertaining series.

First off, I have to say that I really liked the cover of this book. It is a hot cowboy in the front but I felt like it had more…just the way he’s holding her speaks to me.
What I enjoyed out of this book the most was out of misery and sadness something grew. Two individuals who shouldn’t be anything more than boss and assistant grew into something more.
Kizzy was a woman you just have to admire. She is smart, talented and level headed. There were many times the KC would mention that he doesn’t know what he would do without her and I believed it. She kept his company running while he was dealing with his personal stuff. She reads people really well and that help a couple times in the book
KC is a man who knows who he is and what he wants. He is a very successful business man and an amazing cowboy. He just doesn’t see how he can be both. I loved that Kizzy was able to see KC in a more human way while on the ranch.
Not that either of them would have wanted KC father to die but I feel like both of them having to come to the ranch reminded them of who they are and what they want out of life. Both were running from things but making them come back and face these issues head on helped both of them.
I can’t believe it is over. Kind of sad to reach the end of the Daltons.
I liked Kizzy and Knox together. I really appreciated the fact that Kizzy was strong, independent, and intelligent. I also liked that the reason I thought Kizzy would be hesitant to get involved with Knox wasn’t really an issue at all. Knox appreciated Kizzy’s intelligence and experience, so that made me like him even more.
On to the two things I had questions about. The way the Uncle John situation ended was just too clean. I really expected some pushback from him.
Then, after all the animosity between Knox and Corbin, the explanation didn’t really explain some of their behavior with Kizzy. Was it straight jealousy, a need to protect her from the other one, or a little bit of both?
I won’t mention the other thing because I would have to do a spoiler alert. I really did enjoy the story. It was fast paced, sweet, romantic, and sexy with a fairy tale ending.

Very entertaining 4 ½ stars – Kizzy and Knox’s story is hard to put down. Read it in one sitting. I like the characters. The plot has a fast pace especially when it got to the part when they had to go to Amazing Grace Ranch. The story is entertaining and includes an unexpected conflict. It has the right amount of steam. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]
3.5****stars. Kizzy has left home to experience big city life. She believes she is missing out by being in the country. She is the personal assistant to a workaholic boss, Knox. He is feeling burnt out when he gets the call that his father has passed away suddenly. His father had built a huge renowned legacy ranch that has him in knots. Try to run it absentee from the city, sell some of it off …. he is at a crossroad. Meanwhile , a very strong attraction is building between them. Act on it or not. Things are not always as they seem from the surface; you have to go down a few layers for the truth. We usually take for granted what is in front of us until it’s gone away. Nice ending with the third brother.

I always enjoy this author’s cowboys and other alpha heroes. This time the main character is a cowgirl and just as impressive. A strong woman that wants to find her own way in life, though she does come full circle.
This is a well written romance with wonderful characters. A death changes life for one of them and a mystery is to be solved.
Kizzy and Knox are great characters and deserve a happy ending. Wonderful story, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
What a fantastic way to wrap up the Dalton Family series!
Kizzy loves life on the ranch, but she’s got bigger dreams than marrying the first cowboy who saunters along. She takes her business degree to Houston and finds fulfillment as the personal assistant to KC, a self-made billionaire in the mortgage acquisitions industry. A tragedy summons KC (Knox to his family) back to his family’s horse and cattle ranch, and Kizzy accompanies him to help keep his business running while he sorts out his family situation.
Being back on a ranch is emotionally charged for both Kizzy and Knox, for different reasons. I really enjoyed the slow pace of their growing attraction; a possible romance was handled with a bit of maturity and even a little foresight into how it would affect the rest of their association.
It’s not until Knox discovers the hidden threat against the ranch that he begins to consider changing his priorities and rethinking his personal and professional goals. It was a joy to watch both of these characters as they consider what they really want in the long run.
This story has a strong female lead, a swoon-worthy hero, an unexpected villain, and of course all the support a girl could want from the whole Dalton family. The HEA was delightful. I couldn’t have loved this story more. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
When you have all the money in the world… Well, this story is sweet and somehow it feels like a real cowgirl/cowboy story. The storyline is good and the characers are really smashing. What I also like about this author is that even though I was reading an ARC version the editing is either done or the author writes this well herself – (himself?). The author is at least quite articulate and precise which is always a good thing when writing stories. The story is also long enough so that it allows for some twists and turns to the story. Overall a job really well done and I can only look forward to the next story from this author.

Knox and Kizzy have a boss/employee relationship and each have no idea both of them are ranched raised and ready to do their duty to the end of their final HEA – was worried there for a bit that Kizzy was being stupid – love the Dalton series and really hate to see it end!!

Kizzy feels out of place on the ranch, so she pursues a business degree and goes to work in an office. Little does she know that her boss is even more country than she and inherits a large horse-breeding operation. I loved the way Em Petrova wrote Kizzy. She’s no shrinking violet; instead, she’s a strong, intelligent woman that keeps her wits when KC appears to lose his. I love strong female characters, and Kizzy is one of the best. The story flows well, the characters are vivid, the settings come alive – this is another truly enjoyable book.

A must read cowboy romance! I loved everything about Kizzy and Knox’s journey from their amazing chemistry to the well written storyline this newest release was hard not to love. I enjoyed the background story with a strong family connection and you easily can connect that influence to Kizzy character. If you enjoy some good romance story with an easy flow and lovable characters than this newest release is definite for you.
I am sad to see this series end but I loved getting into Kizzy’s story. Seeing her spread her wings away from family and realizing that the grass isn’t always greener. KC is her counterpart in every step of the way. Their dynamic is fantastic.
I actually give it 4.5 stars because I had questions that weren’t answered.
