This book had a lot of insight on theories and great tips on fighting depression and anxiety. A great read and super helpful!
This book is a gem of useful information. It gives a great overview of many ways CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) can help you to overcome obstacles. I thought this was an excellent dip into understanding how helpful this can be for overcoming so many issues. As a leadership coach, I plan to recommend this to some of my clients that I feel could benefit.

I love a book that respects the intelligence of its readers and this book does not disappoint. From explaining CBT techniques with useful tips you can immediately apply, to taking control and problem solving, Telford’s book is easy to understand and insightful. I love how CBT is broken down in chapters by application, whether you want to use it for insomnia, mood swings, anxiety, low moods, OCD, addiction, depression,…..the list goes on. I particularly liked how the author concisely and gently pointed out how how having negative idea of yourself is what “makes it hard to appreciate your achievements and enjoy relationships because you never quite believe you deserve them.” Useful tips delivered so you can start making a difference in your own life with the right tools and knowledge.
