This is the fourth and final book in the Domestic Discipline Quartet. Alex has made a lot of mistakes, but he is determined to reconcile with his estranged wife, Grace. He’s willing to put their past problems where he thinks they belong – in the past – but insults and disrespect will be met with discipline. He’s seen the marriages his friends have, and decided to take a page from their books. … books. Unfortunately for him, Grace is not so willing to let go of past hurts, although she has no choice but to go with him when he basically kidnaps her and takes her to Bath. At least her friends are there for moral support, while she does her best to discover exactly why her husband is so intent on reconciliation rather than divorce.
Hugh and Irene are blissfully happy, having declared their love for each other, but they seem to be the only ones. Eleanor is pregnant and worried that her condition will mean the end of overt affection and desire from her husband – especially as he hasn’t declared any kind of finer feelings for her. She thinks Edwin doesn’t realize she’s with child, and worries over how to prod a declaration of love from him. Meanwhile, everyone is gathered in Bath for Wesley’s wedding to the brazen and rebellious Cynthia.
When these four women get together, it’s no wonder that both trouble and bright red bottoms loom on the horizon. Each of their husbands is bound and determined to claim and tame his willful wife.

Alex is determined to reconcile with his estranged wife even though they have been separated for several years. He still didn’t know why his wife, Grace had gotten so very angry at him, just that she had done so. Alex had tried before to get back together with Grace before, but had failed at doing so, this time however Alex had decided that he would spank her like his friends did their wives.
Alex kidnapped Grace and made her go with him to Bath so that they might attend Wesley and Cynthia’s upcoming Wedding, because he was good friends with Wesley. When Grace insulted him, instead of ignoring her, Alex spanked her in the carriage, but then afterwards when she started to cry, he held her in his arms.
After they arrived at Bath and Grace had met Cynthia and the men’s wives, she asked Alex if she was allowed to go to tea with them and was give permission, so later when the ladies were gathered together having their tea, they started discussing how their men spanked them and their reactions to their spankings. Later Cythia, Eleanor, Grace and Irene were all informed by Edwin that the eight of them were going to be sitting down to dinner that evening. Dinner went very well and everyone had a good time and enjoyed themselves. After dinner was over Alex and Grace went back to their rented house and Grace got angry at Alex and was insulting to him again, so she got another spanking. Grace got wet from the spanking and Alex noticed it and said something about it to her.
On another day Alex and Grace were at a dinner party which was being given by the countess, Wesley’s mother and Grace pretended to be drunk and she flirted with some of the men. When Alex and Grace got back to their rented house, Grace got a spanking for her behaviour. Afterwards Alex tells Grace that he would only have sex with her if she asked him to do so.
The evening before the wedding of Cythia and Wesley at which point the men are off togther, the ladies are talking Grace tells them about herself and her marriage troubles, and Grace has the idea of going through Alex’s study and searching his papers for something that would explain his recent actions regarding his efforts to reconcile with her.
After a denouement we end with a HEA for all four couples. Yay. Good Story and a Good ending for the series. Note that there is butt stuff in the story.
There are 4 main couples in this book. Each bringing a different form of marriage to the table. Cynthia is rebellious and about to be married. Irene is happily married. Elenor is pregnant and worried that her husband will not show her as much affection now. And then there is Grace. She wants a divorce and her husband wants to reconcile. It was a fun read to hear the advice to each other of these four women. But when they get together, trouble begins and bottoms are reddened. This story is filled with spankings and steam, in traditional Golden Angel style.
S. Kitten narrated this intricate story well. She was able to keep all the different characters separate and distinct. There were so many characters which S. Kitten was able to keep the story flowing and easy to follow. I enjoyed this narration and hope to hear more from S. Kitten.
This the 4th and final story, tied up loose ends in the lives of these four couples. A wedding, new life, and a revitalized and now happy marriage.
I have enjoyed following along this journey with dominant husbands, there errant wives, there form of punishment to keep the errant wives in line, the bedroom antics and S. Kittens narration of the story.

This is the fourth and final book in the “Domestic Discipline Quartet.” What a heartfelt journey these two characters, Alex and Grace, have gone through. Golden Angel has brought us a journey that is so relatable regardless of the era. We find out why Grace left. We get to know Alex and what his thoughts are. I’ve been so wrapped up in these four couples and their marital escapades that I almost became giddy by the culmination of events at the end of the book. What a great read! What a terrific way to end an absolutely fun, adventurous and exciting series.

Claiming His Wife
Domestic Discipline Series, Book 4
By: Golden Angel
Narrated by: S. Kitten
I loved this series and all of it’s featured characters. This is Alex and Grace’s story but it includes the characters from the earlier books and a continuation of their storylines which are intertwined in one way or another. In this book they will all be together meeting for Wesley and Cynthia’s wedding. Alex is trying to woo his wife back and takes her with him to join the other couples. May be more than one wife getting claimed in this book. The lead males in the series, Edwin, Hugh, Wesley and Alex, are nobleman in their time and friends. They are the discipliners of their woman, Eleanor, Irene, Cynthia and Grace, who are society ladies and their wives. Each couple has their own unique story, as well as issues. They flip from one to the other, mostly in chronological order picking up from where their story left off or putting them in the current situation. Golden Angel does a wonderful job with the storylines, they are interesting and there is always something going on. I love how all the males compare notes with each other sharing their discipline methods and offering tips. Also love how the ladies share their curiosities and thoughts with each other. I got a kick out of the dialogue used from back in the day. I was glad to see all the couples problems and insecurities getting worked out. I highly recommend these stories.
I listened to the Audiobook, S. Kitten is a delight to listen to, her voice is melodic and her performance is entertaining. She is a fabulous storyteller, brings the characters to life from the pages to your ears. Thanks for another great & pleasurable listen

ONLY read this author if you can handle the spanking! Closer to erotica than romance. I’ve read the whole series now and am impressed with the characterization throughout and the social interaction totally relevant to the Regency era in which they’re set. It was legal for a husband to spank his wife in that era – and Golden Angel has not held back – to the ultimate enjoyment of all parties! I would have given this a 5 star rating but all the books in the series would benefit from a line edit. Nevertheless, they were easy to read and true to the era.
