This Christmas, there’s plenty of room at the inn Nestled in the snow-covered Sangre de Cristo Mountains near Santa Fe, the Grey Sage Inn is the perfect place for an unlikely group of traveling companions to spend a couple of days on their Christmas trip. There’s plenty to see in historic Santa Fe during the day, and the inn’s owners, Maude and Silas, are happy to spend their evenings hosting … their evenings hosting this year’s guests from across the country.
But an unusual snowstorm throws a wrench in the plans of these folks who were escaping Christmas at home. The sprawling inn becomes close quarters as the innkeepers and stranded guests discover this won’t be the Christmas they planned. Tension and fear mount as the storm worsens, and a sudden crisis disrupts the normally peaceful haven. The snow and stress unlock tongues — and in the unexpected conversation that follows, secrets and pasts are revealed, and hearts are healed.
Amidst snowdrifts and fireside conversations of days gone by, the warmth of this Christmas brings renewed hope as trapped strangers become friends — proof again that the joy, hope, peace, and love of Christmas can be experienced no matter where you are.

Grey Sage Inn hasn’t been open for Christmas for years – to help out a friend, they open prior to Christmas to an unlikely group of people who get snowed in. Healing, caring, fun-loving, romance – the whole gambit of emotions. Lovely book.
Great story of how habits can change when unseen things happen and how we can adapt and make the best of each situation. In addition it is a book about how NOT to judge others or other nationalities.

A different kind of Christmas story with a variety of real people who overcame their difficult circumstances and put others first.
Pleasant, easy, enjoyable read; reflecting some genuine life perspectives
Fabulous book! Such a different take on Christmas. The reasons for this Christmas gathering are not what you’re expecting and you’ll both laugh and cry. The characters are very realistic and fun.
I read a lot of books and occasionally one really draws me into it. Makes me feel as if I am actually watching each scene unfold, so real are the characters. Christmas at Grey Sage was one of these books. I loved every minute of reading it..
I had trouble putting this down… loved the characters so much it was hard to let them go at the end.
This is a story about a couple who leave their bed and breakfast to go on a holiday so as to not be at home on Christmas. As would eventually happen, they become snowed in and must deal with all their customers on Christmas Day. AS it turns out it seems everyone is on holiday so as to not be home on Christmas. After everyone starts talking about their reason for wanting to not be home, they discover it helps to be able to talk to others whom they do not known. You will not want to put this book down until you have read it thru.
It’s a story of how different people with so many varied life experiences get together and end up finding common interests. They forge lifelong friendships. Experience a great Christmas together and make wonderful memories.
I loved this book. I just finished it and I feel like I lost some old friends when I read the last word. It is beautifully written and full of faith and friendship. It is a book that will remain in your heart long after you finish it.
If anyone is looking for a definition of love, this book is your answer. Wonderful story.
I really enjoyed this book! What a great story about strangers celebrating Christmas together and becoming friends!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Grey Sage and the interesting and sometimes quirky characters who visited there. The author has a delightful way of describing each of the characters, and I especially enjoyed the ending where she followed the characters after they left Grey Sage, or visited there again. A truly delightful reading experience.
Enjoyed getting to know the characters. Well written, easy to visualize what was going on.
