Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year. But not this year. This year, I’m stuck at a ski resort where I know no one and I have to explain to every bell boy and waiter that I’m there alone because my fiancé is a jerk and I’m not actually celebrating my honeymoon and I’ve taken a vow of celibacy for life.I’d rather be at home with my hot chocolate and my fire, but it seemed stupid to let the … it seemed stupid to let the resort go to waste. I plan on holing up in my suite with a bottle of wine and my suitcase full of books. No trips to the bar where my vow could be at risk.
But when the eye candy in the suite next to me shows up at my door half dressed looking for his dog, my vow might have to go out the window.

At first I wasn’t too thrilled about Tristan and his playboy ways but he totally redeemed himself with Mia. Even though he was not the type of man Mia would look for after having too many cheater relationships, she can’t help but fall for the caring man. Especially when he made such overtures for Christmas for her. But Mia is still gun shy and Tristan will do whatever it takes to make her his. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.
Christmas and Commitment is a sweet, heart warming romance that will keep you entertained. This fun, easy read tells the story of two people, both of whom have suffered heartbreak in the past, overcoming their fears and giving love a chance.
Another great addition to the Omega Mu Alpha series. Mia is a school librarian who has had one too many bad relationships. When her fiancé is caught with a high school student, the wedding is off. But, Mia has a honeymoon already paid for at a posh ski resort. Her usual Christmas traditions have been squashed by her family’s plans, so she decides to take the honeymoon on her own as a vacation.
Tristan and his frat brothers, along with their Dobermans, are staying at the same resort. In fact, Tristan is right next door to Mia. After a chance encounter between Tristan and Mia’s car, he can’t go skiing or snowboarding with his friends because of a concussion. Instead, Mia decides to try to cheer him up (and maybe have that fling that her sister thinks would do her a world of good).
Their relationship progresses much faster than either of them foresees. Of course, there are misunderstandings along the way before we reach the HEA, but that is one thing I love about this series. Some clean romance, some humor, some missteps, and dogs…..what’s not to like?
I love these books and I truly enjoy Kimberly Loth’s writing, whether is in the romance or fantasy genre. If you are looking for a good clean romance that is fully engaging, has great characters and a great story, you will enjoy this book (as well as the others in the series).
I loved this story like a Cinderella story or one of the fairy tales. It was like a fairy tale! I got so engrossed and wanted to be Mia and it happen in real life to me. My gosh never ever have I wanted something from a book like that. Don’t miss this story it is great and a great Christmas dream come true.
Overall rating: 5
The best holiday romance I’ve read this year, this author made these characters spring to life and capture your heart! Of course I knew who I wanted to reach an HEA but I truly enjoyed imagining this storyline as it unfolded. All the doubts, fears, and finally blooming love just wafted off these pages. As an added quirk, who doesn’t want a Frankie on their vacation? All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
Christmas and Commitment is a novella in the Omega Alfpha Series. Set around Christmas time, this tale takes place at a ski resort where Mia, a school librarian who goes on her paid honeymoon alone, and Tristan a member of the Omega Mu Alpha brothers fraternity who is spending his yearly holiday with his fraternity brothers. Mia is about to embark on a holiday fling with a millionaire playboy what could go wrong? Supporting character’s play a intricate role in this novella and accentuate a bit of lighthearted humor. A holiday read that is sweet and dreamy with a bit of sadness too it.
Fantastic Christmas love story. Fabulous characters. Transforming attitudes. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.
I received a copy of this book as a gift. I am leaving my honest review.
