It’s been a long time since I cried while reading a steamy contemporary romance, but that’s exactly what I did as I read Catch Me by Michele Arris. I don’t want to give away the plot, but this story’s charm and romance blew me away. You will fall in love with the Greek Shipping Tycoon hero Dominic and so desperately want to be the heroine you may change your name to Tabitha! This is a perfect read for the beach or a lazy Sunday afternoon. And once you start you won’t want to put it down!
‘Catch Me‘ is the second title in the ‘Tycoon’s Temptation‘ series, and just like the first (‘See Me’), you could be tempted to see this as enemies to lovers romance. And perhaps it is in some ways but it is so much more in reality. I quickly fell into Tabitha and Dominic’s story and completely enjoyed myself immersed in this world once again.
We met Tabitha and Dom in Kennedi and Trent’s story. Tabitha is Kennedi’s friend and business partner. Dom is Trent’s step-brother, even though the parents have split the men still, and always will consider each other brothers. So there is a bit of history between these four people – and Tabitha and Dom have been like oil and water from the beginning. That only intensifies as their strong opinions on a project they are both involved with hits some, let’s say disagreements on how things should be in the final design.
Right now Dom needs access to his trust fund. And if he doesn’t marry within six months he’ll never see a penny of it. Tabitha hasn’t been lucky in love or in her desire to be a mother. She’s finally made the decision to adopt but that is so very expensive she’s not sure how she’s going to manage that life-changing decision – but she’s determined to find a way somehow. Neither ever expected that they could be the answer to each other’s dilemma.
I was easily captured by ‘Catch Me‘ by not only the situation for Dom and Tabitha but with the chance to, once again, run into old book friends. These two people spark off a fire between them in so many ways far beyond their verbal arguments. Their chemistry is off the charts, and that made them believable to me. My heart broke for Tabitha’s situation, for her history. Yet I was also so proud of the determined way she set out to reach her goals no matter what stood in her way. There were moments that I really wanted to tell Dom to just chill out for a bit, for he is a force to be reckoned with (and not only in his own mind). Watching them fall, to begin to really see the other without the anger, the arguments in the way was an exciting, emotional, satisfying journey. And I loved every moment of being back in this world.
If you love a really good, believable romance then I’d recommend this series. Do you have to read both? Of course not. But I would suggest it for doing so creates this world, and both couples are in each other’s lives and stories so it just makes sense to know the whole situation (to me at least). I had a blast with ‘Catch Me’, and I suspect you would, too.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher, Tule Publishing. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
I really enjoyed Tabitha and Dominic’s story in Catch Me by Michele Arris, book two in her Tycoon’s Temptation series. This is story has two stubborn, alpha people knocking heads as custom pastry chef Tabitha Seils tries to work with businessman and COO Dominic Balaska. After suffering ovarian cancer and a miscarriage, Tabitha wants nothing more than to have a baby; trying the adoption route this time. When a new mother-to-be considers Tabitha to adopt her infant, Tabitha is ready to fill and decorate a nursery. She makes the first of three payments but will need to figure out how to get the money to pay the rest. Dominic has it all, except the $20 million to buy into a profitable real estate deal. His trust fund requires that he be married by his 31st birthday; which is in six months. Since he’s not found the right woman to attach himself to, he starts to think about Tabitha. There is a definite attraction between them since fireworks explode whenever they are in the same room. Marrying Dominic would help Tabitha afford the additional payments for the adoption. It’s a win-win situation and they can get an annulment after Dominic accesses his trust. They’re adults and should be able to have a no-strings, fake marriage deal. Right?!? Neither figured in that this marriage of convenience would ignite real feelings nor the possibility of consequences to their attraction, sizzling chemistry, and the electricity bouncing off of them.
Ms Arris wrote a wonderfully, sizzling and emotional story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with off the charts, sizzling chemistry, intense emotions, and charming secondary characters giving Tabitha and Dominic a chance for love and all they desire. I highly recommend Catch Me to other readers.

It was supposed to be a straightforward business agreement…
Businessman and COO Dominic Balaska almost has it all, except $20 million to get in on a lucrative real estate deal. His trust fund document requires him to be married by his 31st birthday. In six months. With no romantic prospects in sight, he looks toward Tabitha Seils. She’s made it clear she doesn’t like him, which is exactly the no-strings deal he’s looking for.
Custom pastry chef Tabitha Seils wants nothing more in life than a baby. So when a new mother considers Tabitha to adopt her infant, Tabitha nearly bursts with happiness. She makes the first of three payments but needs to find a way to pay the rest. Marrying Dominic is a win-win: they can access his trust, divvy up the money, and get an annulment.
Neither expected their marriage of convenience would bring about real feelings. Nor the twist in store for their arrangement that could cost them everything.
This is Tabitha Seils and Dominic Balaska’s story.
“How about I show you?” A swift flush of color flooding her already naturally blushed cheeks, she jumped to her feet and started to charge at him. Kennedi flung herself up from the couch and blocked her pursuit, holding her back by the shoulders. Shrugging off her friend’s grasp, Tabitha sidestepped Kennedi and faced him in full challenge. “Who do you think you are? I have a right to keep track of the construction progress of Chase Confections. It’s my store.”
Dominic dared her objection with his own. “Progress? Is that what you call changing the blueprints? It’s Kennedi’s store, too, but edge of his seat with legs spread and palms braced on his knees. His steel-blue eyes alert, he appeared prepared to take on whatever the battle put before him. “Bro, have a seat.”
Related by marriage since the age of five and Trenton age six, Dominic had remained close with his brother even after their parents—his mother and Trenton’s father—decided to end their ten-year nuptials.
“Yes, Dom, have some lunch. The bulgogi’s really good.”
Meeting amber-brown, kind eyes set in features the shade of warm toffee, Dominic took a breath to try to draw on a measure of calm. “Kennedi, you need to talk to your friend, Tabitha. Valerie said Tabitha’s been over there again making—”
He paused. Across the room, the bone of his contention stepped out of the adjoining bathroom. An instant heat of anger slid up his spine, wrapped around his neck, and squeezed like a boa. His glare narrowed on the woman who drove his frustration.
Catch Me by Michele Arris is a 2 star book.

Michele’s Books with Tule:
Catch Me
Tycoon’s Temptation
See Me
Tycoon’s Temptation
I received this arc from Tule Publishing in exchange for an honest review. This is the second book in the Tycoon’s Temptation series. This book features Tabitha and Dominic. Tabitha is best friend and business partner with Kennedy and Dominic is the stepbrother of Trent from book one. Tabitha is an amazing pastry chef. She and Dominic got off on the wrong foot when they first meet. Everything the other says or does irritates the other in spite of an undercurrent of sexual tension between them.
Tabitha had been dumped by her cheating fiancé 3 days before the wedding, a year and a half earlier. She also had had ovarian cancer and it was not thought she could have children. Miraculously, she got pregnant only to lose it after the breakup. She had recently decided she wanted to adopt and was in the process of trying to get approved through an agency. She would need to pay quite a large sum that she didn’t actually have.
Dominic is supposed to receive his $20MM trust fund in 6 months provided hers married. If he produces an heir in a year, he gets a higher amount. Since he has no girl friend he expects he won’t get it. His mom is pushing him to find a wife in time. He wants the trust to be able to buy into a deal Trenton is working on in Dubai.
Tabitha has to go to Las Vegas for a week to create special desserts for Trenton’s hotel and casino’s anniversary celebration. She learns that Dominic will also be there. The two of them argue about the plans. When Tabitha arrives, the hotel can’t locate her reservation until she mentions Dominic’s name. It turns out she was put into his private suite where he was staying, unbeknownst to either of them. While there the two of them give into their attraction. Both kept sabotaging the relationship as they believed wrong things about the other. There is quite a lot of angst between them and some surprising twists.
I enjoyed book 2 more than book one as I found Tabitha to be a more likable character than Kennedy. I gave it 5 stars and look forward to reading the next book.
I loved Catch Me by new to me author Michele Arris. It is a well-written book with characters that are interesting, personable and genuine. This marriage of convenience romance captured my attention from the very beginning, and I never wanted the story to end. Dominic and Tabitha sizzle; both in and out of the bedroom. Overall, if you like books about billionaires, pastries and falling in love, then pick up a copy of Catch Me.
This is the second installment from the Tycoon’s Temptation series and it can enjoyed as a standalone.
Complimentary copy provided by the publisher.
Though I hadn’t read the first book in this series I had n o trouble following this story line at all it reads totally as a stand alone I just gathered that the characters in this book had also been in the first book. This book handles matters that can cause a lot of heart ache in a wonderful manner
Tabatha may be a wonderful pastry chef and top of her game as far as that is concerned but her personal life is a bit of a mess Eighteen months earlier her ex fiance dumped her just days before the wedding believing she couldn’t have children due to a battle with ovarian cancer she was stunned to find out she was pregnant but the stress of the broken wedding caused her to miscarry Now she has decided that she wants a child and she is going to spend whatever she needs in an effort to adopt even though she doesn’t have the money Her best friend and business partners husbands step brother Dominic is also facing his owns trials he needs to be married within the next six months is he is to inherit his $20 million trust fund. These two clash all the time and the latest is at Las Vegas where she is doing the pastries for a function They give into their attraction to one another Could they be the answers to one an others problems after all he needs a wife and she needs money. You will have to see how this tangled web will work
Catch Me (Tycoon’s Temptation #2) by Michele Arris is a book concerning a trust fund baby and a woman wanting to find a way to adoptive a baby. This story is close to my heart because I know someone remarkably similar to pastry chef Tabitha Seils who has been going through this very thing. The process is long and the cost is enormous. The very same way this friends had the new mother consider her for the adoption, six months later the baby is with her but legalities are still being worked through with the agency. All that is said to make it clear that my heart is totally with Tabitha and what she has been going through. Not so much for businessman Dominic Balaska who wants the trust fund money for a business deal. Still it is his money I guess and this marriage of convenience will help Tabitha too.
Two strong personalities with goals that are different but important to each makes this an unusual marriage of convenience. It took time for this couple to work through their feelings, not just opposite but disdain at times. There is a twist in the story that makes this even more interesting. I even began to like Dominic more than I had thought I would at the beginning. An interesting story that is different from the norm.
An ARC of the book was given to me by Tule Publishing which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
The second book in the series is as good or better than the first one. I knew Trenton had a brother Dominic who also goes by Dom. He is paired up with Tabitha in this book. I really liked how those two act like they can’t stand each other. Tabitha has a strong personality and so does Dom and those two collide all the time.
Makes for a great story and you really need to check it out. I am hoping there is a brother in there somewhere for me.
I was given an advance reader’s copy of this book in exchange for my review. This is book two in Tycoon’s Temptation and this book has some sizzle.
Very interesting story line, and the writer knew how to make the dialogue very interesting, only little problem was the ending was just to rushed, in my own opinion, I wanted a little more.
Sizzling plot with so much chemistry it almost explodes from the pages.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
