First of 2 novels featuring Kit Fielding. As always, highly informative about horse racing, breeding, and care
One of the best from Dick Francis. To me, he never disappoints. When I want to be sure of picking a good book, I can depend on his books. I highly recommend this one.
I love every one of Dick Francis’ books–all 41 of them. They are all about and everyday guy put in a challenging situation who thinks and fights his way through the challenge. All his stories are well thought out, and fun to read. I have read all 41 at least twice. I LOVE HIS STORIES.
His portrayal of a horse and rider during a race is poetic.
Great Dick Francis classic
Dick Francis’ character Kit Fielding is just the self effacing efficient hero we all wish we had in our own circle of friends or family!
You can never go wrong with Dick Francis. I have read and re-read all his books for years,
any book written by Dick Fraances is an entertaining read.
I read every one of Dick Francis’ books while he was still alive. I like British stories, I like their quirks and their sense of humor. His books are all quite good, with a mystery to solve and new acquaintances to make. I would recommend all of his books.
