In Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas, New York Times bestselling author Emily March presents a brand new arc set in the Lone Star State that features a family-linked trilogy within the author’s romantic series. With his smooth talk, rugged good looks, and deep pockets, native Texan Boone McBride appears to be a man who has it all. Few people know about the heartbreak behind his decision to … heartbreak behind his decision to leave home, family, and career for the isolation of a small town in the Colorado Rockies. Luckily, time and life in Eternity Springs has worked its healing magic upon his wounded soul, so when he meets obviously troubled Hannah Dupree, Boone sees a chance to pay his good fortune forward. The last thing he anticipates is tumbling into love.
Tragedy has taken everything Hannah loves, and her will to keep going is failing. So when Boone strides into her life determined to save her, it’s easier to go along with him than to resist. Soon she is drawn into the fabric of life in Eternity Springs, and as her spirit begins to heal, her strength returns, and she’s able to go toe-to-toe with this hardheaded, big-hearted Texan. But just when love blooms and happiness is within their grasp, shadows from the past threaten. Hannah and Boone must stand strong and united in order to defeat old ghosts–if they are to create a brand-new life together.

Boone by Emily March
3rd book of the trilogy McBrides of Texas, a subset and 18th book in the Eternity Springs contemporary romance series. Can be read as a stand-alone sweet romance.
Boone sees desperation in Hannah when he finds her at Lovers Leap overlook. He convinces her to stay in Eternity Springs where she can heal and find purpose again.
It’s an emotional journey for them both because of their sad, individual histories. Family, both actual and created, plus support of community help both Boone and Hannah in healing and believing in the future.
It’s a beautiful story of romance and hope.
I liked the hero a lot. His willingness to open himself up to Celeste and his brothers was just a part of what made him lovable.
I received a copy of this from NetGalley. I also purchased a copy to share.
Boone is the third in the McBrides of Texas series by Emily March. Boone is the third cousin who has part in the land near Redemption, Texas but lives in Eternity Springs now. The perfect place for healing and recovering from tragic loss. This is exactly what Boone McBride has learned and Hannah Dupree needs.
Boone has some major changes coming to his life which he must work but now he is in a place that it can happen. Hannah Dupree is still heavily in the grieving stage of her loss. This book deals with some serious issues but it is not a heavy read. I love the idea of being a Zippo in life for others. That jus may become my motto for 2021 instead of just being a light.
Well-written story with complex characters dealing with major life issues which is what you would expect from this author. Emily March never disappoints. I recommend Boone to any and all who enjoy a marvelously written story. My favorite of the three cousins’ stories.
An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Hannah arrives in Eternity Springs when she is feeling at her lowest point. Eternity Springs works its magic when Boone is encouraged to be a light to someone. Hannah and Boone help each other heal from their losses. I loved it! I received an ARC from NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for my honest review.
There are stories that simply break my heart as I get caught up in the character’s lives, their pasts, their pain, and their deeply held heartache. It’s impossible to not feel what they’ve experienced in life and hope for a better future for them. This was my reaction to Hannah and Boone. My word. What these two people have gone through would break most people into tiny pieces – that they are individually still standing is a miracle in itself.
I’ve loved exploring the Eternity Springs world over the years, I fell in love with The McBrides of Texas trilogy told within this world. Yet Boone touched my emotions deeply and makes putting words here in a review that won’t tell you the entire story (which I will not do) is going to be difficult. I want to talk about Hannah and Boone’s journey from desperation, merely existing to a full life where falling in love and hope for the future is a very real possibility.
I think, in the end, I’m merely going to refer you back to the Cover Description Blurb for the basics – and tell you that Boone is a story full of reality, harsh reality at times, for many people. Watching Boone and Hannah heal each other, heal themselves as well, was a powerfully emotional experience. I laughed with this couple, and shed tears of loss, pain, and not understanding the why of their situations as well. They are supported by an amazing secondary character cast, many we’ve come to know and love over this long series. I don’t think you can walk away from Boone without crying at some point, I could be wrong but this is a story where tears are necessary for the characters and the reader as well – for tears release sadness, but they also help heal the pain.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher, St. Martin’s Press via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
is is an emotion filled story and both main characters have some serious things to overcome. Boone has worked through MOST of his trauma and Hannah is more at the beginning of her healing. With Boone having gone through so much already, it tended to give him a tenderness and compassion for other people. His legal skills are now being used in other avenues.
There is a fairly large cast of people and at one point I had to go back and forth to re-read who was connected to who. I don’t enjoy that so much.
I commend the author for how detailed the town, businesses and surrounding area is. But it also began to feel a lot like the details were overtaking the story a bit. Like, I was going on a guided tour of my own. For me, I began to not like that as much.
The story does have a good H.E.A. though.
“I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”
I enjoyed this heartwarming and emotional small town romance with characters you feel like you know and want to be their friend in this must-read Eternity Springs:The McBrides of Texas book three. As soon as I started reading I was captivated and became totally immersed in all that was happening in Eternity Springs, Colorado. I loved the instant attraction, undeniable chemistry and repartee between Boone McBride and Hannah Dupree. This book is for anyone who enjoys well-crafted contemporary fiction that pulls at the heart-strings. I received an advance reader copy of “Boone” from the publisher via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.
II really enjoyed this book and give it 4 1/2 stars. I also did not want to put the book down once I started reading it. This book is very emotional. Both Hannah and Boone need face somethings from their past. Boone is already on his way to that but Hannah is just beginning to live again thanks to Boone. I did have a couple of questions still at the end of this book and also would have liked to have read about a certain scene in the book. I am going to share those below so if you don’t want any spoilers don’t read anymore of my review.
I really wished the author let us see Jackson’s wedding as a person who read his book I really would have liked to see him get married. The author talked a lot about it coming up but than never gave us the actual wedding. I also want to know what happened to Ranger, he seemed to fall off the book after Boone ask Hannah to take him at nights. I also want to know if everything worked out with the adoption in the end. I understand that this is a romance book so there is a happily ever after but I still like these questions answered instead of assuming.
*I received this free book from NetGalley and am leaving my honest opinion*
What a beautifully heartbreaking story. I needed my tissue box more than once. Boone and Hannah have both had tragedies in their pasts. It would be understandable, especially for Hannah, to be wary of settling down. But Eternity Springs is a special place where even miracles can happen.
I was completely enthralled by this story and I couldn’t put it down! I can’t wait for more from Emily March!
5 stars!
This is my first book by Emily March. I was captivated from the moment I read the first page. Boone is a story that will have you in tears and then hoping for both Hannah and Boone to find love. This story does deal with the loss of a love one. So be prepared. I loved how Boone was so gentle and understanding of what Hannah was going through and was determined to bring color back into her life. I truly believe some people are meant to meet and these two are proof of that. This book can be read as a standalone and I really enjoyed it. The whole cast was wonderful and there are many characters from the other books and I am looking forward to going back and reading the other books in the series.
Boone (Eternity Springs: The McBrides Of Texas #3) by Emily March is another big loving Texan we get to fall in love with.
While Boone has had tine to heal from previous hurts he sees himself a savior for Hannah Dupree who has come to Eternity Springs as an escape.
As always this is a wonderfully written story that will have you wanting more! I highly recommend.
“Boone” (Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas Book 3) by Emily March is a fabulous read. I absolutely loved Boone and Hannah’s story. This was a wonderful addition to the Eternity Springs series as well as The McBrides of Texas series. This story is full of romance, interesting and entertaining characters, family, friends, small-town life, overcoming tragedy, new beginnings, and more. I can’t wait to see what happens next with all the entertaining characters in Eternity Springs. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, small-town life, family, and series.
This was a terrific conclusion to the McBrides of Texas subset of the Eternity Springs series. It is a story of love, loss, and healing. Boone is one of the three McBride cousins who inherited the land called Enchanted Canyon back in Texas. Boone doesn’t spend much time there, having moved to Eternity Springs, Colorado, after a devastating loss sent him looking for peace and escape. After five years, he’s gained the reputation of a smooth-talking, charming ladies’ man, but also a man with a big heart. He’s ready to move past the pain of his past and is advised that the best way to do so is to “be a light” for someone else.
Hannah has been on the run from her past for three years. After a tragedy took everything that mattered from her, she feels no hope of happiness in her future. She has reached the end of her rope and contemplates her options as she stares at Eternity Springs from the overlook at Lover’s Leap.
When Boone sees Hannah standing there, he’s compelled to stop. As soon as he gets close to her, he recognizes the pain in her eyes. I loved how Boone stepped into her circle and began talking to her, distracting her from her thoughts. Some of his conversation was pretty ridiculous, but he was desperate to pull her back to the land of the living. I loved how he talked to her about Eternity Springs and encouraged her to explore the town. He even goes as far as to offer to rent her the guest cabin on his property. Boone is quite the steamroller, and he soon has her settled in and ready to explore.
I enjoyed the development of the relationship between Hannah and Boone. The connection is there from the start, thanks to their similar pasts. Boone is further along the road to healing and quickly realizes that Hannah is someone very special. I loved seeing how his kindness and empathy helped Hannah begin to live again. There is a little bump in the road when someone from Boone’s past throws a life-changing curveball into his world. It is something that Hannah feels that she isn’t equipped to handle. I appreciated how Boone tries so hard not to push her too quickly out of her comfort zone. As a result, she adjusts faster than she expects.
I especially enjoyed Boone’s determination to romance Hannah. When Boone makes a decision, he goes all-in, and this was no exception. There were some sweet scenes of them together, from stargazing to glamping. Hannah helps Boone out of several crises that also serve to bring them closer together. I loved seeing the effects of Boone’s attention as Hannah’s formerly dark existence began to add color and light. Like Boone, when Hannah makes a decision, she commits fully. Their big moment at the end is fantastic, with a fun twist that I didn’t see coming. I laughed out loud at Boone’s reaction, especially his comment about his cousins. There’s one last crisis they have to deal with, but by doing so together, they banish the last of their ghosts and move ahead in a life full of love.
I’ve never read any of the Eternity Springs books but will have to do so. I’d like to know more about Celeste, who plays an integral part in all three McBride books. I liked what I read about the town and its people and look forward to getting to know more about them. I especially enjoyed the way the women of the town rallied to help Boone with an emergency.
There wasn’t much time spent in Enchanted Canyon, but that doesn’t mean Tucker and Jackson were left out of the book. Both of them have their moments to shine. I loved how Boone called them for advice when he panicked a little about his feelings for Hannah. They provided an excellent combination of teasing, which he deserved, and truth, which he needed.
A tender romance, set in Eternity Springs, brings healing and redemption. Boone McBride is an overachiever and is known for getting his way. When a blast from the past upends his plans, Boone finally discovers that there are limitations to what he can do on his own. Unexpectedly meeting Hannah, Boone recognises anguish and brokenness when he sees them. In what seems like a desperate situation, he reaches out to Hannah and bit by bit her breaks through her barriers. When his plans go awry, Boone turns to Hannah to help him get through an emergency, and she proves to be more resourceful and helpful than he could have ever anticipated. This romance is emotional and painful in parts but ultimately the characters find that when they stand together, they are stronger and more able to face the future. Although I have purchased other books by this author, this is the first book in this series that I have read. I enjoyed it and loved Boone’s character. I felt Hannah’s heartache and pain and appreciated that he had the patience to wait for her to spill the truth about the tragedy in her life. The supporting characters in this book seemed a little too sweet at times, but they did fulfil their role in this romance. I received a copy of this novel through NetGalley and this is my honest and voluntary review.
I was so excited to read another book in the Eternity Springs series and to revisit the sexy McBride cousins and their wives. I liked the hope and light this book brought out after reading about Hannah’s story and revisiting Boone’s past. I think Hannah and Boone were both lights for each other and that fate brought them together with another purpose in mind.
I also enjoyed the wonderful characters living in Eternity Springs and the cute shops and adventures. It was fun to hear Celeste’s words of wisdom and her insights and I really enjoyed what happened to Boone in this book. It surprised me. What a great story of family, love, and hope. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
Boone by Emily March is part of Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas series. It is so sad: Boone’s wife committed suicide seven years ago after yet another adoption fell through. Boone pushed forward with his career as a prosecutor but was so distracted that he allowed a child abuser to be set free…after he had promised the man’s stepdaughter that he would pay. That was it. He moved to Colorado and now does civil law: wills, land contract, etc. He gets a phone call one day from a child protective worker with whom he used to work. He ignored it for several days. Finally he picked up and discovered that there was a baby, a baby the birth mother requested he be the father to. It didn’t take him long to agree. He wanted to be a dad. He met Hannah when she was sitting at Lovers’ Leap, looking for all the world as if she were planning to jump. He stopped and when he left, she left with him. Things progressed from there.
A story which starts off to be so sad, ends so well. Damaged people have somehow come together and helped one another heal. There are an abundance of good people in this story, as well as good characters. Hannah lost her husband and two daughters in an “accident” when he husband drove off a bridge on the way to the hospital. She never knew the truth, but it destroyed her. She well might have jumped if Boone hadn’t showed up. It was one of those days. She is a terrific character as she heals, with the help of people around her. She is strong and resilient and loves with her whole heart. She is wise to protect it for just that reason. Boone is hot and smart and loving. Every woman’s ideal. It is a lovely romance, with just a few too many good, caring people…got a little syrupy sometimes. I like it.
I was invited to read a free ARC of Boone by Netgalley. All opinions contained herein are solely my own. #netgalley #boone
Life is not without heartache and tragedy and Boone and Hannah have had more than their fair share. No one really knows why Boone retreated from his former life for the isolation of a small town in the Colorado Rockies as he keeps it all inside. He longs for quite, peace and to be left to live out his life by himself. Hannah really just wants to be left alone and has lost the desire to do much more than barely get by. When they meet she just goes along because it takes too much energy to fight back and resist the ever growing pull towards each other. Slowly as they start to come back to life and happiness is in sight the past rears it’s ugly head and threatens their happiness. Will they find their HEA? Can they move forward and start anew and let love in again? It’s a lovely heartwarming well written story that is a pleasure reading. I sat down to read this charming book in the midst of a snowstorm. Next thing I knew it was hours later and I had a big satisfied smile on my face and in my heart. This was my first in the series and don’t feel I missed out by not having read the first two, but do now want to read them. This was a lovely heartwarming enjoyable feel good story.
I received an advanced copy of this book from Netgalley.com in exchange for a fair and honest review.
This book is part of a series and can be read as a stand alone, but prior events are alluded to and might make more sense if read in order. This is the story of Boone McBride a former hotshot attorney in Ft. Worth who now makes his home in Eternity Springs, Colorado. Boone has discovered that Eternity Springs is a good place to heal from the death of his wife and the loss of children. Early one morning he comes across a person at Lover’s Leap and when he stops to offer assistance, he recognizes the look of despair on Hannah’s face.
Hannah has traveled the last three years trying to outrun the ghosts of her dead daughters and her husband. When she stops at Eternity Springs, Hannah realizes that she has reached the end of her rope.
Read the book to see if Eternity Springs can bring the two lost souls together for a lifetime along with the love and care of a baby and a puppy. This was a wonderful and emotional story.
Thanks to NetGalley, Emily March and St. Martin’s Paperbacks I was allowed to read an ARC of this book. This is my freely given opinion of this book and all ideas expressed here are my own.
The cousin’s are back, I was so glad to be able to catch up with Tucker, Jackson and now Boone. I really love Celeste she’s full of wisdom and guidance and does it in such a way that you don’t know what hits you until she’s done. I felt this book did deal with some tough subjects but in the end it was worth it. Nothing seems to be off limits with this author and I appreciate that because it makes the characters feel more like friends and less like fictional characters. Hannah has such a big heart and she is dealing with some things and looking for healing. I like that every time I read about Eternity Springs its seems like some one is looking for healing and Eternity Springs is just that place to find that healing. Boone did come off pushy sometimes but its really hard not to like him and see where his heart is. For those who are content sensitive: this book contains non-graphic scenes of sexual content. Overall this book is really good and I could not put it down so worth the read. I can’t wait to see who shows up in Eternity Springs next. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
4.25 Stars

Few people know about the heartbreak behind his decision to leave home, family, and career for the isolation of a small town in the Colorado Rockies. This is the third book in the series but is easily read on its own. A lovely second chance romance set in a beautiful location. I think this is my favourite of the series so far. I loved both Boone & Hannah & loved how they both overcame tragedies & heartbreak, the road to their HEA took me on a range of emotions from laughing to crying & I was engrossed from cover to cover
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
This is the third of the Eternity Springs: McBrides of Texas series, but can be read as a stand-alone. Boone McBride happens upon Hannah Dupree at Lovers Leap, and he see a kindred spirit. Both Boone and Hannah have gone through a tragedy and are dealing with the aftermath. Boone is much further along in the grieving process, and feels like he was set into Hannah’s path to be the light that helps her. While he is helping her, they fall for each other. Really likable characters and I was sad to see the series end. I was given an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest opinion.
