In Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas, New York Times bestselling author Emily March presents a brand new arc set in the Lone Star State that features a family-linked trilogy within the author’s romantic series. With his smooth talk, rugged good looks, and deep pockets, native Texan Boone McBride appears to be a man who has it all. Few people know about the heartbreak behind his decision to … heartbreak behind his decision to leave home, family, and career for the isolation of a small town in the Colorado Rockies. Luckily, time and life in Eternity Springs has worked its healing magic upon his wounded soul, so when he meets obviously troubled Hannah Dupree, Boone sees a chance to pay his good fortune forward. The last thing he anticipates is tumbling into love.
Tragedy has taken everything Hannah loves, and her will to keep going is failing. So when Boone strides into her life determined to save her, it’s easier to go along with him than to resist. Soon she is drawn into the fabric of life in Eternity Springs, and as her spirit begins to heal, her strength returns, and she’s able to go toe-to-toe with this hardheaded, big-hearted Texan. But just when love blooms and happiness is within their grasp, shadows from the past threaten. Hannah and Boone must stand strong and united in order to defeat old ghosts–if they are to create a brand-new life together.

4* Heart-Warming Stars
This was my first time reading a book by the author and I really enjoyed this heart-warming story. This is the 3rd book in the McBride Series and it works well as a standalone. I had no problem following the storyline. I am eager to read the first two books now to get to know these quirky and wonderful characters that feature in them.
This is a small-town romance with characters that are very likeable and charming. Boone the sexy single lawyer and Hannah the new visitor to Eternity Springs have both had to deal with tragedies in their lives. Together they navigate their way opening up about their pasts and learning to love and trust again.
Even though some parts were sad to read, the storytelling was amazing and heartfelt.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This book has some wonderful scenes! I wanted to cry at several heart-wrenching moments in this book. I was glad to see Jackson and Tucker making “appearances” in the book (dang I loved those books!) I have only read the last three books of this series. Several characters from the other books make multiple appearances but you don’t have to read them to fully enjoy this book (OK but I HIGHLY recommend Jackson and Tucker.)
This book is written in a dual POV format. I love that as it gives me that glimpse into the characters’ thoughts. I can more fully understand the characters and their actions during a scene that way. This really helped me to better understand Hannah. Without that glimpse into her thoughts, I would not have been able to thoroughly understand her struggle. The author really put Hannah through the wringer!
This is a slightly sexy read. There were more talk and kisses. The author did a fade out on any action. I would definitely let a parent decide if someone under 18 wanted to read this.
With her Eternity Springs series, Emily March has created a world I love to return to time and again. Boone has all the heart and romance I’ve come to expect from her stories, plus a few surprise twists to keep the pages turning.
Boone McBride is the fantasy of most women’s dreams. He is a strong, manly man with a big heart. He is a protector, a good guy and now he wants to be the Light for Hannah Dupree. Hannah has lost everything that matters to her and she is contemplating an end to her misery. Boone is determined not to let that happen and to help her see a brighter future.
Boone is from a big Texas family but he has moved away from the corporate life to Eternity Springs, Colorado. Hannah has been trying to escape the tragedy and loss for the past three years by continuing to move from place to place without ever settling down.
I loved this story and the many layers. The secondary characters were wonderful, too, especially Celeste.
I also appreciated the behind closed doors sexual scenes. I don’t need to know the details to be able to feel the chemistry between the characters.
There is a happy ending and I look forward to reading the other books from this series.
I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.
This is the third book in the trilogy about the McBride cousins, focusing on Boone. Like all the Eternity Springs books, it is a heart warming story about pain, loss and healing, with wonderful endearing characters.
I do not remember if the tragedy that sent Boone to Eternity Springs was revealed in the previous books, but it is revealed here. He is jealous of all his friends who have received their Angel’s Rest blazon from Celeste Blessing, when he comes across Hannah Dupree, who looks like she is about to jump off of Lover’s Leap. She lost her husband and 2 daughters 3 years ago to the day in a horrific accident and since then has just been wandering from place to place, barely hanging on. He is a lawyer, a smooth talking, larger than life Texan, who talks her into coming into town and while in his attempt to help heal her and be her light, he falls for her. In Eternity Springs, time and good friends heal all and bring love into your life.
I read an ARC that I received fromNetGalley.com. It had a few typos, but I am sure they were corrected before the release. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.
Boone McBride rescues grieving Hannah Dupree in her moment of despair and they work together to find their way out of past tragedies to embrace a future together.
That’s it in a nutshell. I’m not sure why I chose this book to review as it is part of a trilogy that is part of a larger series. Lots of books. I was worried going in that I wouldn’t be able to follow everything, but that was not a problem. This worked well as a standalone.
I found myself pulled into Hannah and Boone’s story. They’ve both experienced such sadness in their lives. The “angel” theme also spoke to me. This is just a sweet love story. The love part happens pretty fast, but it was easy to see how that could happen based on the circumstances of their meeting. It was also easy to want them to heal from their wounds together.
I wasn’t a big fan of the “that’s a story for another time” method of giving the reader small chunks of the backstory, but that’s my personal preference.
Overall, this was a sweet HEA romance that sucked me in from the start and kept me reading until the end. I liked these characters and I’d look for future books from this author.
An ARC was received from the publisher. This is my honest review.
Emily March’s Boone is a powerful story which will tug at your heartstrings. Boone is a novel of second chances, forgiveness, romance and most of all hope.
Boone McBride is a larger- than- life character; think sweet -talking, charming southern lawyer. He’s got a huge heart and he will drop everything to help someone. Boone adores his family, values his friends and desperately wants earn his Angel’s Rest pendant. Celeste Blessing awards the pendant to those in the Eternity Springs community who have “accepted loves healing grace.”
I adored that Boone felt he was ready to be someone’s light and recognized that Hannah Dupree needed him. He saw grief and despair in her eyes and identified with her sense of loss. The author crafts a wonderful story for this couple—it’s deeply emotional and heartbreaking at times—the messages of light and hope are woven throughout the storyline. Hannah’s journey towards healing unfolds with each chapter as she and Boone build on their friendship. Hannah doesn’t always know what to make of Boone’s ideas and plans. Boone’s bigger than life personality translates into a lot of unexpected situations which add lots of fun and humor to the storyline.
Emily March is best known for creating memorable characters and rich dialogue. Loved the honest, emotional; and loving conversations between the couple. Enjoyed the scenes when sweet talking Boone convinced Hannah to go fishing, attend his cousins wedding and to stay at his guesthouse—he really was taking the “be the light” to heart. Loved that the author used colors to illustrate Hannah’s journey from loss to love.
There’s lots of old fashioned romance in Boone as well. Loved Boone’s Operation Light Saber campaign to win Hannah’s heart. I enjoyed Boone’s resolve to fight for his soul mate and loved the heat to heart talks with his cousins Jackson and Tucker.
I highly recommend this well-paced and engaging novel!
Emily March scored a hat trick with Boone—it’s a poignant, emotional and oh so romantic story—just perfect for this couple!
It’s always a pleasure to return to Eternity Springs and the writing of Emily March. Her stories always have the right balance of sweet, sexy, and always give readers characters they will certainly root for. In this installment, March brings together Boone McBride, Texan transplant to Colorado, and Hannah Dupree, who ends up in Eternity Springs while on a bit of a road trip.
From the moment Boone spots Hannah on a high path in the mountains just outside of town, he sets his sights on being the do-gooder that it’s obvious to him she needs. But with this story, March creates a true reflection of Boone’s needs with that of Hannah’s. And with this, it’s inevitable to the two will grow closer. Part of this relies on the power of persuasion that Boone naturally carries. But Hannah is going to have to want to truly live and love again.
This is an inspiring story about hope and believing in second chances. 4 stars and recommendation.
The story telling from this author is nothing short of amazing. She doesn’t give you the alpha male with all the sex appeal and the swooning female who can’t resist. What she does give is a story of human emotions, wants, and needs – not everything has to be sexual.
Boone moved back to his hometown after making it big in the city as a powerful lawyer. One of the things he has to contend with is his mother and family but that makes life stimulating. Hannah, on the other hand, has no direction in life at this point. She wants to move on and find a place to call her own but so far that hasn’t happened.
The two meet and while they interpreted the situation differently, Boone drew Hannah to stay a little while longer and explore his town. Together, they explore each other and we get the HEA we all want, only it’s a much more riveting story than many romance writers provide. Eternity Springs is also where hope springs eternal!
I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas—Boone is the third book in this trilogy by Emily March. On an early summer morning, Boone McBride spots a person standing too close to the edge on Lover’s Leap. Fearing the person may slip, perhaps on purpose, he eases his motorcycle into the parking lot and slowly approaches. Hannah Dupree has lived out of her car for the past few years, ever since the tragedy that cost her her family. This is the third anniversary of their loss and she is despairing. Perhaps Boone has come along at the precise right time.
As they talk, Boone tells Hannah about his loss from suicide, and, as they talk he convinces Hannah to visit Eternity Springs, where hearts come to heal. He even offers her the use of his lakeside cottage while she is there, as well as offering himself as someone who will listen. He, in turn, opens up to Hannah about his losses. He also asks Hannah to accompany him to his cousin Jackson’s wedding. If he has a date his mother just might not play matchmaker.
But matchmaking is not at the forefront of Boone’s thoughts. Boone has big things in the works, things he could really use a very close friend and confidant to help him. For Hannah, being that person for Boone is a big first step out from under her cloud. But this melding may just be what heals them both.
This is a very good book, part of a lovely series of hope and healing. I did enjoy this book and I do recommend it!

Boone is the 3rd book in the McBrides of Texas and book 18 in the Eternity Springs series by Emily March.
Eternity Springs it seems, is where broken people and broken hearts go to heal. Boone McBride has had time to heal from his past and is ready to move forward when he meets Hannah Dupree and now he needs to become the light for her to move forward after her tragedies.
Such an emotional read, tears, tragedies, finding your inner strength that leads to love and a happily ever after!
Favorite Quotes:
“I know you’re probably wondering why a single guy built a house this big. You have to understand that we’re wall-to-wall Texans from Memorial Day to Labor Day… I can’t tell you how many times friends or relatives call from the front porch of hell to tell me they’ve had a sudden hankering to see me.” “The front porch of hell?” “Texas in the summertime.”
“What about you? Do you sing?” “Only if I’m trying to scare raccoons away.”
“I mean it, Boone. No more going lawyer on me. You’re too good at it.” “Thank you.” “That wasn’t a compliment.”
“You are looking for a romance battle plan. You got a name for your operation?… It helps. Believe me… Give it a name.” “Did you have a name for your plan to win Gillian?” Jackson asked. “I did. I came up with it when I spied a critter as Gillian and I were hiking the canyon.” He paused dramatically. “Operation Horny Toad.”
Unbelievable… Outmaneuvered by a Yankee. I’m going to have to turn in my cowboy card.
My Review:
I adored this sweet couple and their supportive and tender romance. Their storylines were refreshingly free of contrived conflict and overarching angst, which I find so tedious. Although both main characters had uniquely compelling and heartbreaking back-stories, their relationship with each other was thoughtful, caring, and eventfully sizzling. Ms. March’s engaging and smooth writing style was easy to follow with relevant and realistic modern-day issues, family drama, wry humor, amusing levity, and witty banter.
Hannah is searching. Searching for something better out of life. She has lost everything she has ever loved. She is contemplating ending it all when Boone McBride enters her life. His giving heart and, of course, his magnetism creates a sensation she has not felt in a long time. Will Hannah let Boone in her life or will she let him go?
This is my least favorite type of romance novel. It’s a little too sweet and too dramatic. But, this type of romance has its followers and I totally understand the appeal. It is so nice to have a feel good read without complications or too many surprises. And this story hit me at the right time. I fell head over heels for Boone. He has strength, charisma and he has a huge heart…what is not to love!
Need a feel good charmer! This is it! Great characters and a wonderful setting of Eternity Springs, Colorado makes this story worth your time! Grab your copy today.

Boone by Emily March
The McBrides of Texas #3
Three cousins star in this trilogy of romance stories set in Texas. All three men, and the women they ended up with, were strong wonderful people and their romances a delight to read. In this, the final book of the series, we learn about Boone’s life before he moved away from the big city and we also get to know Hannah’s backstory with the losses that drew her into a deep dark hole that nearly sucked her into its maws. All of the Eternity Springs series stories bring hope, love, and happily ever after endings to at least one couple and sometimes more.
What I liked:
* Boone: strong, intelligent, caring, kind, compassionate, giving and a great book boyfriend. He steps in and does what needs to be done and is a safe place to land for the woman he pretty much falls for soon after meeting her.
* Hannah: a good person dealing with a huge loss who arrives just where she needs to be to heal, fall in love and begin again. She and Boone are perfect together.
* Seeing Tucker and Jackson again and hearing how they and their partners are doing
* Holly: a wonderful little girl
* The growth made by both Boone and Hannah
* Celeste and the idea of the wings blazon
* The uplifting emotional feel of the story
* The idea that one can love again
* Bree and her birth mother – what a sad story but what a happy ending
* Ranger: a sweet puppy
* The reality of what it is like to be a parent with a newborn
* The romance and glamping and all the rest
* All of it really except…
What I didn’t like:
* The losses both Boone and Hannah sustained in the past – they happen to many but are never easy to deal with
* Saying goodbye to the series when I read the last page.
Did I enjoy this book? Yes
Would I read more by this author? Definitely
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC – This is my honest review.
5 Stars
What a lovely, heartwarming story. Boone and Hannah were just so…sigh! They really fit together so well. I truly enjoyed this book. Well done, Ms. March
Boone is my favorite of the McBrides of Texas. I love the little town of Eternity Springs, and I enjoyed Boone and Hannah’s journey to find their happily ever after.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary Advance Reader Copy from NetGalley.
Every Emily March book is better than the last. I’ve learned by now that thinking I’ll read a couple of chapters at a time is nonsense. When I start I know I will read straight through.
I say it in all my reviews of Emily March’s books so it probably sounds like a broken record, but not even a chapter in and I start getting that warm, fuzzy at-home-again feeling. Eternity Springs and Redemption are places I feel I’ve been, places I know, places I feel safe, and when I’m there I’m surrounded by people I know and love and trust and care so much about.
Boone is no exception. Yes, I read it straight through, and I cried through about half of it. Sad crying, happy crying, hopeful crying. And when I finished I was completely satisfied. Boone is the final book in the Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas trilogy. Just like Jackson and Tucker, Boone McBride is a big, handsome, capable tough guy, someone who will take care of things. But he’s not really so tough. He’s been through some tough times, though, and has worked very hard to overcome them. He’s got a good career, good place to live and good friends, but he’s just shy of that perfect contentment he craves. He’s big-hearted and kind and caring, and we want him to be happy.
Hannah Dupree is passing through. She’s always passing through somewhere, because she’s been through some tough times, too, and stopping and settling in is not on her to-do list. But when Boone and Hannah meet he recognizes another wounded soul and wants to pay back a little of what he’s received from Eternity Springs and the folks who live there and in Redemption. Neither one of them is thinking about love. But we are – we see it before they do, and what fun it is to watch them dance around it. To spend time with two truly nice people who have so much to give.
In addition to wonderful locations and wonderful characters, with Boone and all of the Eternity Springs books you get the bonus of a solid story, things that feel real happening to people that seem real. You get to peek back at the characters you already know and see how they’re doing, and meet new characters you know from the start you’ll love. The writing is excellent, the plot smooth and the characters deep and well-developed. What a joy and pleasure these books are. Thanks to author Emily March and St. Martin’s Press for providing an advance copy of Boone via NetGalley for my reading pleasure and honest opinion. All opinions are my own. I loved this book and highly recommend it. Each book stands alone, but do yourself a favor and read them all to meet everyone in Eternity Springs and Redemption. You’ll be so happy you did. In 2020 especially, I want to live in Eternity Springs or Redemption. Everyone would wear masks without having to be nagged, they would help each other like they always do while responsibly and safely social distancing, and no one would be hoarding toilet paper.
*4.5 stars*
Grief-stricken but hopeful…
I know, that sounds a bit Pollyanna-ish but this gentle, hurt-filled romance did have wonderful shades of that. Despite what Boone had endured, he was so upbeat and cheerful – not what I would have expected at all. Hannah had suffered as well, the tragedy shaping her current life in a darker way. Meeting Boone at the lowest point was going to be her start back to life. And his…
Eternity Springs was a place for healing and both found out that was true. With Celeste and the other quirky town inhabitants, no one suffered pain or shared happiness alone. While Boone was more of an open book, Hannah was slow to share, hiding her pain until he slowly coaxed her out of her shell. Learning about each other was a push and pull that prodded both of them to shed their sorrow and anger and move forward, together…
A gentler, slower pace is a hallmark of this author’s stories and Boone and Hannah’s was just so. It also had me smiling and crying. Often. In other words, a heart-touching, (hard-fought) happy ever after, read…

Third book in the series.
Boone and Hannah story is lovely, I did enjoy it a lot.
Another wonderful book by Emily March.
I gave this book 5 STARS. For some reason they are not showing up on the review. I have tried to edit and add the stars 5 times with no success.
Emily March is a master storyteller. Her talent for creating characters that capture the reader’s heart is unsurpassed. Her stories find their way into your heart and make you feel what the characters are feeling. I appreciate the fact that she doesn’t use foul language or steamy bedroom scenes. Her storylines and characters are so engaging that you feel like you are right there in Eternity Springs.
Kleenex Alert! Hannah Dupree has suffered the worst tragedy imaginable. She has lost everything that mattered to her. Now she is wandering from town to town, trying to stop blaming herself.
Boone McBride has suffered the loss of his wife. He is fighting his own demons. Both Hannah and Boone need to heal and forgive themselves for things that were beyond their control. Eternity Springs is the place to heal.
Boone can be read as a standalone, but you will love the entire Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas series. All of the residents of Eternity Springs have wonderful stories.
